"And if I don’t compromise?"

"Then Miss Jian will not be able to come out at all."

"Does he intend not to give me food either?" Jian Yufei coldly retorted.

"Yes!"

Jian Yufei frowned in disgust; Nangong Xu was too despicable.

"I’m going to find him!" She lifted her leg and was about to walk out, but the two bodyguards blocked her path, forming a wall.

"Miss Jian cannot go out!"

"Move aside!"

Jian Yufei pushed them forcefully, but they remained unmoved.

"Miss Jian should obediently go inside." One of the bodyguards pushed her, Jian Yufei stumbled backward, almost sitting on the ground.

The door was pulled shut by the bodyguards, locked again.

Jian Yufei angrily pounded on the door: "Let Nangong Xu come see me, let him come out!"

But no matter how she shouted, the people outside no longer paid attention to her.

Minutes later, Jian Yufei used torn clothes and bed sheets to make a rope.

A bodyguard immediately went to find Nangong Xu.

Jian Yufei stood for a while, and then Nangong Xu arrived.

He was dressed simply in a white shirt, his stature tall and upright, eyes sharply looking at her.

Seeing the destroyed lavender, the chill in Nangong Xu’s eyes grew colder.

"Jian Yufei, I advise you not to challenge my limits!" He spoke coldly, his voice carrying authority without anger.

Jian Yufei looked at him coldly as well: "Why do you demand that I wear my mother’s clothes?!"

Nangong Xu squinted his eyes, not expecting her to know his thoughts.
