As the door to Apartment 1602 opened via facial recognition, Qin Yuenan’s heart was already pounding to its absolute limit.

It wasn’t from worry or apprehension, but from sheer anticipation and excitement.

Lin Shen, however, acted as if nothing was out of the ordinary. He skillfully found his pair of slippers in the shoe cabinet, put them on, and headed for the bathroom as if he were in his own home.
