Flash Marriage: My Penniless Billionaire Husband
Chapter 131: Help You Lose Weight
Janice paused for a while and continued, "She won the first place in today’s hurdles competition. It’s the crown that she obtained today."
As Janice spoke, she picked up Nino from the ground and pointed at the small crown on her head.
Christopher glanced at Nino and frowned. <I had trained Nino to practice this before, but few people knew about it. Moreover, without my guidance, Nino would not take the initiative to jump over the hurdles. Maybe it is just a coincidence.>
"What? Don’t you even know that Nino can do it?"
Janice stared at him curiously.
Christopher came back to his senses and said, "Of course not. I’ll cook something for you."
As he spoke, he turned around and walked towards the kitchen.
Janice looked at him and felt that something was strange.
However, she did not dwell on it.
She glanced at Nino again. The more she looked at the little crown on her head, the happier she became.
How awesome she was!
She still remembered that before the competition, Sophie had said something to Nino, and then Nino began running.
She wondered if she should make it.
She placed Nino in an empty area of the guest hall and used a chair as a hurdle.
She whispered in Nino’s ear, "Nino, can you perform it for me again? You are the best."
As she spoke, she fondled Nino’s back as Sophie did.
She looked at Nino expectantly. However, Nino did not respond at all.
"That’s strange. Why can’t I?"
While Janice was wondering, Christopher came out of the kitchen with a plate of spaghetti. Seeing the scene in the living room, he instantly understood what Janice was doing. He put the spaghetti on the table and walked over.
"Do you want Nino to jump over the chair?"
Janice nodded. "I remember that she was pretty active during the competition. Why doesn’t she do it at home? Is it because of the place?"
Christopher squatted down beside her and said, "It’s not a matter of location, but
because your method is wrong."
Janice asked, "Wrong method? What method?"
Christopher said, "Look at me."
He picked up Nino and put her in his arms. While whispering to her, he reached out to stroke her back and then put her on the ground.
In the next second, Nino began to run at high speed.
It was exactly the same as the scene on the competition.
Moreover, she was surprised to find that Christopher’s method was exactly the same as Sophie’s.
Therefore, what kind of method was this?
Thinking of this, she hurried forward and asked, "What did you just say to Nino?"
Christopher chuckled, "I didn’t say anything. I just hummed a short tune."
"Tune?"
Janice was puzzled.
Christopher said, "Nino used to have a dog mania. When it was ill, it had a bad temper and liked to tear things apart. To cure her, I often let her listen to some soothing music to calm her down. I trained her to jump hurdles at that time. As long as she heard that tune, she would jump and cross the hurdle."
So amazing.
The more Janice listened, the more interested she became.
"Then teach me quickly, what is that tune?"
Seeing her curious look, Christopher crooked his finger at her mysteriously.
Janice moved closer to him.
...
When she heard the tune that Christopher had hummed, she was surprised.
"It’s that simple?"
Christopher nodded. "You can give it a try."
Upon hearing this, Janice hurriedly picked up Nino. She imitated his previous actions and hummed that tune to Nino. As expected, Nino quickly jumped over the chair.
Nino’s action made Janice dumbfounded.
"That’s incredible."
She looked at Christopher.
Christopher said, "Well, your curiosity has been satisfied. It’s time to eat Spaghetti."
As he spoke, he pulled her up from the ground and pressed her down on the table. He instructed, "I’m going to take a shower. Eat it up and I’ll come to check later."
After saying that, he turned around and walked upstairs.
Janice paused for a moment and then asked, "What about you? Why aren’t you eating?"
"I’m not hungry."
His back disappeared from the stairway.
Only then did Janice withdraw her gaze. As she gazed at the bowl of spaghetti, she suddenly thought of something.
<How did Sophie do this?
She knew Christopher?
The car I saw on her way home is really Nathan’s car?
No, no, it might be a coincidence.>
She knew Sophie purely by chance, so how could it have anything to do with Christopher?
<This is too impossible.
After all, Sophie is a pet doctor, so it is normal for her to understand the dog’s characteristics.>
When she thought of this, Janice didn’t think about it any longer. She lowered her head and began to eat.
When Christopher finished taking a shower and went downstairs, Janice had already finished the Spaghetti.
At this moment, she was doing yoga on a yoga mat.
He walked over with a frown.
"You shouldn’t exercise on a full stomach."
"I have to exercise. Otherwise, what if I gain weight?" Janice stretched her body.
Christopher glanced at her. At this time, Janice had changed into a yoga suit.
She wore a sports vest and low-waisted sweatpants, which revealed a small part of her waist.
Her waist was soft and slender, which was very attractive.
He resisted the urge to go forward and hold her gently, and said, "You’re so thin. You won’t be fat even if you grow another ten lbs."
"10lbs? Then won’t I become a ball in front of the camera?"
Hearing those words, Janice shook her head in fear. She didn’t want to be plump like a ball.
Christopher stared at her, and a cunning look suddenly flashed on his face. He stepped forward and said, "I have a good way to lose weight. Do you want to try it?"
Janice stopped upon hearing this. "What method?" Christopher stared at her and smirked. "Piston motion."
Janice was confused. Before she could ask what it was, Christopher picked her up from the yoga mat.
She surprisedly asked, "What... what are you doing?"
"I’ll help you lose weight."
After saying that, he carried her toward the bedroom upstairs.
The next day, Janice got up with her hands on her waist. The first thing she did was glaring at Christopher, who was still lying on the side.
He said he would help her lose weight, but in fact, it was to satisfy his desire.
Janice remembered how he had laid down on the bed last night and asked her to move.
She couldn’t help but grit her teeth.
"What’s wrong? I seem to see desire in your eyes."
Christopher suddenly opened his eyes. Janice didn’t have time to move away and was caught in the act.
Janice complained, "I have not."
She hurriedly got out of bed, but was stopped by Christopher and pulled back to the bed.
Janice reminded, "You... I have to go to work."
...
Christopher stared at her anxious look and couldn’t help but chuckle.
"Of course I know you’re going to work, so hurry up and wash up. I’ll be your driver later."
Janice thought, "That’s more like it." Then she walked towards the bathroom.
After breakfast, Janice took Christopher’s car to the TV station.
Along the way, she felt bored.
"Let’s play a song."
Christopher turned on the music.
Janice didn’t like it. She said, "Let me choose for myself."
With that said, she extended her hand and caught sight of a gift box by the side. She picked it up. "What is this?"
Hearing this, Christopher looked over. When he saw the gift box in her hand, his face changed and he stretched out to try to take it.
It was already too late. Janice opened the box and saw that it was a tie bar which looked quite unique and expensive.
Janice curiously asked, "This tie bar is pretty unique. Why don’t you wear it?"
Christopher frowned. "No, I don’t like it."
"Really? If you don’t like it, why buy it?" Janice said in resignation.
Christopher awkwardly said, "I didn’t buy it. Someone gave it to me."
"Really? I think it looks quite unique. Would you like me to help you with it?"
As she spoke, she stretched out her hand.
Seeing this, Christopher quickly dodged, but met Janice’s surprised eyes. He explained, "I really don’t like it."
Upon seeing his reaction, Janice couldn’t help but frown.
<Why did he reject so firmly?>
She put the tie bar back in the box and said, "You’d better stow it. No matter what, it’s a gift. Although you don’t like it, you can’t just leave it here. What if the person who sent it sees it?"
As she spoke, she casually put the gift box back, but did not notice how strange Christopher’s expression was.
"Well, I’m going to work. Thank you for driving me here."
When they arrived at the entrance of the TV station, Janice waved at him, opened the door, and got out of the car.
Christopher sat there. looking at her departing figure. When he couldn’t see her, he withdrew his gaze and looked at the gift box.
He frowned slightly and threw the gift directly into the internal compartment. He didn’t want to see it again.
Janice ran into Lucy as soon as she entered the TV station.
"Morning."
The two greeted each other.
"By the way, Lucy, I have a news clue for you. Are you interested in reading it?"
Lucy’s interest was aroused. "That’s great. I haven’t collected enough news this month."
Hearing this, Janice took out a business card from her bag and handed it over. "You can call him and ask about the details."
Lucy glanced at it and couldn’t help but mutter, "The honorary chairman of Kennel Club, Quentin Vincent."
"What organization is this?" Lucy asked confusedly.
Janice responded, "I’m not too sure either. Maybe it is a pet club or something." 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
Lucy said, "I see. I’ll call and ask."
What Janice needed to record today was the new episode of the Tide of Love.
"There have been fewer and fewer good stories recently."
At the end of the recording, the director complained casually.
Hearing those words, Janice couldn’t help asking, "Director Caleb, what story do you think is of high quality?"
Director Caleb glanced at her and said, "Ridiculous. Nowadays, everyone likes to see ridiculous story."
Janice agreed with this point, but not completely.
