Chapter 312: The Massacre Of Ignorance

Mirabella moved her gaze on the group, the lingering sting on her cheek a stark reminder of their absolute, irrational loyalty. She sighed, her calculating mind forcefully suppressing her shock, and spread her energy outward towards the unconscious three, waking them up with a gentle pulse of restorative energy.

’It kind of feel nice having such teammates, but.’ She turned her gaze to the blaring red system screen hovering in her peripheral vision.

’The system have never warned me this much... Even now, it’s still advising me to escape. But why would I escape without even knowing the monster who attacked me.’ She thought, as Hitachi, Carl and Grace slowly shake the dizziness off, their minds struggling to process the lingering terror of the abyss.

"Okay, just know one thing... Whatever is coming out there is a lot stronger than anything you have encountered or faced. So be careful." She said, her voice dropping an octave as Sunder appeared in her grasp, the sentient blade humming with a nervous, suppressed frequency.

"Hehehehe... Even in this small planet, Galaxy Fall descended."

The voice was melodic, yet it grated against the very fabric of reality. A beautiful woman, in her early forties with flowing blonde hair and piercing red eyes, rose slowly from the dark hole. She levitated without displacing the air, moving her red, predatory gaze on the group before her.

"Mom?" Grace called out in disbelief, the weapon in her hand drooping.

"Mom?!!"

".....?!!"

Everyone turned to her in shock, their minds fracturing as they looked at Grace, then at the elegant woman hovering before them.

"That is no longer your mother." Hitachi said, drawing his sword, his celestial eyes flaring to life despite the blood tracking down his cheeks.

"I saw the body of this monster, this body before us is only a host." He added. Through his vision, he could see the horrifying biological truth: the woman was merely a polymorphic extension of the true terror below, a specialized drone caste puppeteered by the hive-mind to interact with the surface.

’Only a host?!! The cave was dimmed, and because of the ambush, I couldn’t see the main body, but if a host is this powerful, then we can’t fight the main body.’ Mirabella thought, staring at the profile of the monster before them; expecting a high-tier monster. Instead, the system interface fractured, spitting out numbers that defied the logic of the Galaxy Fall integration.

{Name: N/A.}

{Nickname: Void Calamity.}

{Rank: Domain Rank. (10,000%).}

{Physical Attack: 500,000,000.}

{Agility: 1,000,000,000.}

{Defense: 500,000,000.}

{Health: 5,000,000,000.}

{Magic Attack: 1,000,000,000.}

{Intellect: 100%.} 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

{Divinity: 10,000,000,000.}

{Traits: Immune to all Physical attacks. Immune to Mental and Soul attacks. 90% magical damage reduction.... Immune....}

Mirabella’s breath hitched. This wasn’t a monster powered by standard logic. It was a Primordial entity.

’The host is this powerful?! The group behind me won’t even be able to scratch her?!! Even the system can’t show me all its traits!’ She thought in pure, unadulterated disbelief.

"Attack!!!!"

Austin yelled, his instincts overriding his patience. And without even waiting for a word, he lunched himself forward, as his hair turned a brilliant white. White flames enveloped his hand, superheating the air, as his arrived in front of the lady with explosive speed.

’Is this guy stupid?!!’ Mirabella yelled Inwardly, her heart plummeting. And before she knew it, the remaining seven shot forward in a unified vanguard assault, leaving Hitachi, Carl and Grace behind her.

"Come on!! She’s just an ordinary person who get infected, we can take her down!!" Rose yelled, her staff glowing. The Domain Rank entity was flawlessly masking its aura, tricking their low-level perceptions into reading her as a weak, easily exploitable target.

’Something isn’t right here! Aren’t these guys sensing the dangers around this monster?!!’ Mirabella thought, watching the lady, as a chilling, knowing grin formed on her lips.

’Shit!! Is she deliberately hiding her Aura?!!’

Austin arrived first, closing the distance in a millisecond, and threw a devastating punch forward.

BOOOOM!!!

The shockwave cratered the ground beneath them, but the fiery impact smashed directly into the lady’s bare palm, which easily caught his attack without even a flinch.

"This?!" Austin was dumbfounded, the energy of his ultimate strike entirely nullified.

With one pulled, she effortlessly cut off his hand from his shoulder, the flesh tearing like wet paper, and slapped him casually with her right hand.

The force of the attack—backed by a physical stat of 500,000,000—instantly shattered Austin’s skull into pieces, painting the courtyard in a gruesome spray of crimson.

".....?!!"

"Austin!!"

The ones charging all froze in sheer terror, their momentum dying instantly as they stared at Austin’s headless body collapsing on the ground.

"This is bad!!" Hitachi said with gritted teeth. Even with his celestial eyes operating at maximum capacity, the enemy’s agility was at 1,000,000,000. She was too fast to track; she was moving between the frames of reality itself.

"Hehehehe."

She smirked, a sound that bypassed their ears and echoed in their souls, and before the group could even form a thought to retreat, she vanished.

BOOOOM!!!

A rapid series of sonic booms overlapping into one deafening crack. They all froze in shock, as their heads all exploded simultaneously, their headless bodies dropping, dead. In one second, the whole seven, the strongest, most talented prodigies in Dragon team, were all eliminated.

"Heheheh, didn’t know you humans are so weak." She said, her flawless host body rematerializing exactly where she had started. She tilted her head to the side, staring at Mirabella with genuine, predatory amusement.

"Damn it!" Mirabella stretched her hand forward, bypassing the natural laws of life and death. The laws of the universe dictated finality, but she held the ultimate cheat code. As all the seven bodies rose into the air, flying backwards towards her, she activated celestial healing.

A blinding, divine light erupted from her. And before the surprise gaze of the primordial creature, the shattered heads were all rebuild from thin air, bone knitting to flesh, and the seven came back to life, gasping for air as their souls were forcibly yanked back into their vessels.

"Huh?" The creature was genuinely stunned, her smile dropping as she witnessed a power that rivaled the Ancients.

"You could resurrect the dead? Are you the one mentioned in that useless prophecy?" The creature asked, her red eyes narrowing, fixated entirely on Mirabella.

"I... I am still alive?!!" Austin asked, falling to his knees and frantically holding his fully reconstructed head in shock.

’All of you! Don’t rush forward, if all your body gets destroyed or your soul get shattered, I won’t be able to resurrect you... I am telling you this because she has the power to shattered you into blood, besides, Soul, mental and Physical attacks doesn’t affect her, she is completely immune to them.’ Mirabella sent an urgent telepathic message to her team, the sheer weight of the monster’s stats stunning them in place.

Taking a half-step forward to shield her newly resurrected vanguard, Mirabella locked eyes with the abomination and asked aloud:

"What prophecy are you mumbling about?!"

"Huh? You don’t know?" The creature tilted her head to the other side, her grin widening once more to reveal impossibly sharp teeth: "Then listen before I kill you."
