Chapter 14: Instant Cast Super Tier Equipment

At the deepest part of the mountains lay a lush, vibrant grassland.

A towering tree stretched into the sky, its canopy blotting out the sun. Beneath it rested a massive dragon.

An uninvited guest arrived.

The dragon’s eyes snapped open, its aura turning violent.

Caelum approached slowly. Under the Insight effect of the Eye of True Sight, the dragon’s strength was laid bare before him.

He sighed.

"Only Tier 6. Guess pureblood dragons really are on another level."

"Roar!"

Seeing a human intrude on its territory, the dragon erupted in rage and unleashed a breath attack.

Boom!

The attack hit Caelum directly.

But against the defense of the Dragon King Set, it felt like nothing more than a passing breeze.

Space rippled.

A spear shot out from Infinite Arsenal and pierced straight through the dragon’s body, pinning it to the massive tree behind it.

The battle ended instantly.

This dragon was too weak.

Even a million of them would not be enough.

Boom!

The spear exploded.

The dragon died on the spot, and the giant tree behind it snapped in half, crashing down with a thunderous tremor.

Though it looked like an ordinary tree, its interior was filled with magical energy. Its magic tier was actually higher than the dragon’s.

Caelum’s eyes lit up.

"A tree this big should make a lot of World Tier gear."

With anticipation, he stored both the dragon’s body and the tree into Infinite Arsenal.

[Forge initiated]

Soon—

[Forge complete]

The dragon’s body had not been broken down. Instead, it had been reconstructed into a small object, about the size of a fist.

[Dragon of Destruction]

[Type: Item]

[Skill: Single use Super Tier Magic Summon Dragon of Destruction. Duration one day] 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

[Instant Spear]

[Type: Weapon]

[Traits: Piercing, Destruction]

[Skill: Single use Instant Super Tier Magic Total Annihilation. Destroys everything within a two kilometer radius]

This spear was forged from the massive tree.

The downside was that it was still only Super Tier, not World Tier.

The upside—

It was instant cast.

No charge time. No delay.

And because the tree provided abundant material, Infinite Arsenal had produced five hundred of these weapons.

Five hundred instant cast Super Tier items.

It was absurd.

Combined with his World Tier equipment, Caelum could probably clear the entire game world alone.

Even gods might not be able to stop him.

From what he had learned in Frontier Town, magic progression in this world was extremely difficult.

A Tier 5 mage was already considered high level.

Tier 6 mages were rare elites.

Tier 7 beings, comparable to pureblood dragons, were exceedingly scarce.

At least on the surface.

Players had barely explored this world, so reliable information was limited.

Everything from here on would require his own discovery.

As far as he knew, World Tier was the current limit.

Beyond that was unknown.

But since gods existed, he guessed there must be a higher level.

"Something above World Tier... probably divine level."

"Hm?"

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed something.

At the base of the tree’s roots was an opening.

A dark tunnel.

Without hesitation, he stepped inside.

The passage sloped downward before rising again, eventually leading back toward the surface.

After a long walk—

Light appeared ahead.

He emerged into a forest.

Unlike the areas near Frontier Town, the trees here were enormous, ancient.

Then—

"Oh? Someone’s here!"

"It’s a human!"

"Wow, it’s been so long since we’ve seen one!"

"Where? Let me see!"

Voices filled the air.

They sounded childish, full of curiosity and excitement.

"Who’s there?"

Caelum looked around but saw no one.

Then glowing lights floated toward him.

Only then did he realize—

They were not fireflies.

"Are you talking to me?"

A cheerful emotion radiated from the lights.

"Yes, human."

Caelum frowned slightly.

"What are you?"

"We are born from the will of nature, representing mountains, rivers, and all natural things. Humans used to call us spirits. You can call us that too."

"Spirits?"

"Yes. It’s been a very long time since we’ve seen humans. Why have you come here? If we can help, just tell us."

"Tell us!"

"We’d love to help!"

They were surprisingly friendly.

Caelum thought for a moment, then pointed into the distance.

There, half buried in the ground, was a massive object covered in moss.

A crashed vessel.

Exposed mechanical parts made it unmistakable.

"I got here by accident. But now I want to know what that thing is."

The spirits became excited.

"I’ll tell you!"

"No, me!"

"That thing? It’s from a very, very long time ago. Millions of years, actually."

Caelum blinked.

"Millions?"

Soon, he learned the story.

Millions of years ago, the world had been far more chaotic.

The gods had only just come into existence and fought endlessly for control.

As the gods warred, the races that worshipped them joined the conflict.

But they were not insignificant.

Through courage and ingenuity, mortals achieved the impossible.

They killed gods.

This ship was a product of that era.

It had been shot down during one of those battles and crashed here, remaining ever since.

A relic of a grand and ancient war.

A testament to an age of legends.

Caelum could not help but feel a sense of awe.
