Chapter 48: Bloodmoon Legion

North Galaxy. Bloodmoon Legion.

Redstar.

A life bearing planet located near the territory once ruled by the Pajero Legion, it also served as one of AXN’s core strongholds within Super Universe.

The person overseeing the Redstar outpost was Knox, a cheerful young man with refined features and a battle power exceeding 20,000.

Within AXN, he held enormous influence.

He was considered one of the organization’s top core members.

In the real world, his strength undoubtedly placed him among S Class players, even surpassing Derek, who was only A Class.

As one of the guild’s highest level combat forces, Knox rarely appeared in public and almost never attended ordinary meetings.

Most of his time was spent inside game worlds pursuing greater power.

Only major decisions were important enough to bring him out.

On a vibrant green field, Knox had prepared several bottles of alcohol to welcome two newly arrived guests to Redstar.

Sitting across from him were Derek and Guy, an AXF99 guild member who got along well with Derek.

Like Derek, Guy was only an A Class player in reality.

Their strength levels were fairly close, which was why they clicked so well.

That was the advantage of belonging to a major guild.

Large guilds possessed influence and strongholds in most major games.

As long as members could establish contact, they could quickly grow using guild resources.

At the very least, surviving the early stages was never a problem.

Take Super Universe for example.

Rapidly cultivating a core member to 10,000 battle power was extremely difficult.

But raising someone to three or four thousand was very manageable.

Knox looked curiously at Derek.

"Weren’t you managing another game before?"

The moment he heard that, Derek immediately gave a bitter smile.

"Hahahaha!"

Guy burst into laughter, clearly enjoying Derek’s misfortune.

"This guy had problems blow up in both games he was handling, so they kicked him over here."

Knox raised an eyebrow.

"What kind of problems?"

Derek sighed and explained.

"It went something like this..."

The strategy project for Evolution Grand War had made zero progress, so there was no point wasting more time there for now.

As for Heroes and Magic, the game had suffered a catastrophic storyline collapse.

The entire Nine Realms, including the Divine Realm itself, had completely imploded.

Every player got wiped out without understanding what had happened.

The game world reset entirely.

Everyone had to start over from scratch.

The divine war content was gone.

Which meant all the major factions and races that worshipped gods would no longer unlock advanced magic for players.

Forums everywhere were filled with players crying in despair.

So Derek had temporarily suspended all exploration and progression in Heroes and Magic.

At this point, nobody knew when another world ending disaster might happen again.

Naturally, AXN had no intention of letting a core member waste time in such an unstable game.

So they kicked him over to Super Universe instead.

Derek’s expression became complicated.

"I’ve seriously had terrible luck lately."

Even Knox could not help laughing after hearing everything.

"Hahahaha!"

He patted Derek on the shoulder.

"Relax. You definitely won’t run into world collapse nonsense here."

"I hope so."

That was what Derek said.

But for some reason, he still had a bad feeling.

On a life bearing planet at the edge of the territory once ruled by the Pajero Legion...

The sky was dim beneath endless dust clouds.

As far as the eye could see, the land was filled with shattered mountains and broken earth.

Massive roots stretched across the surface of the planet.

Crunch!

Inside the hollow of the Spirit Tree, Caelum bit into a Spirit Fruit, the crisp flesh snapping audibly between his teeth.

Within moments, he had already finished the entire fruit.

Boom!

Aura exploded from his body as his energy surged higher once again.

Ever since taking over the Pajero Legion, Caelum had long since stopped counting how many Spirit Fruits he had eaten.

He did not care anymore.

As long as his battle power continued increasing, that was enough.

Over the past year and more...

Caelum’s base battle power had risen from 2.5 million to a staggering 30 million.

An absolutely terrifying number.

If Pajero were still alive now, Caelum could crush him effortlessly without even transforming.

And once transformed...

Caelum’s power would become astronomical.

Calling him the Emperor of the North Galaxy would not be an exaggeration in the slightest.

In fact, many officers and subordinates within the former Pajero Legion had already begun referring to him that way in private.

After taking over the Legion, Caelum rebuilt the Special Forces unit using Zadamor and Atister as the new core members.

The elite officers from both the former Pajero Legion and Haynor Legion were absorbed into the unit.

A new Special Forces division was born.

After continuously consuming Spirit Fruits over this period, Zadamor’s battle power had now reached 1 million.

Atister stood at 800,000. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Every remaining member possessed at least 500,000 battle power.

Their strength was terrifying.

Caelum tossed a Spirit Fruit toward Zadamor as usual, leaving him to decide who deserved it.

"Where’s the next life bearing planet?"

Zadamor casually tossed the fruit toward one of the officers before replying.

"The closest one is Redstar, territory of the Bloodmoon Legion."

"Should we declare war first?"

"No need."

Caelum answered calmly.

"We’re going straight there."

"Understood."

Zadamor lowered his head respectfully.

Then he raised a hand and fired an energy blast that obliterated the towering Spirit Tree.

The group boarded their ship and headed directly toward Redstar.

The moment Kaishin sensed this movement, his expression turned serious.

Without hesitation, he immediately contacted Knox on Redstar through telepathy.

The reason was simple.

Knox was Kaishin’s disciple.

Kai rarely left Kai Planet.

In fact, they almost never left the Path of Sumeru at all.

Because of that, when they needed to interfere with universal balance or eliminate dangerous evil figures, they usually relied on mortals to act in their place.

So they selected promising individuals throughout the universe and trained them as disciples.

However, Kai standards were extremely high.

Most went decades without accepting even a single student.

Knox had originally been recommended by Redstar’s Guardian God.

Fortunately, he passed Kaishin’s tests and successfully became his disciple.

That was how he had developed a battle power exceeding 20,000.

Unlike Jared, Knox had learned several of Kaishin’s techniques.

In practice, his actual combat effectiveness exceeded his stated battle power considerably.

But even so...

There was absolutely no way he could defeat Caelum.

20,000 versus 30 million?

The difference was absurd.

Not even a one in a hundred million chance existed.

"Knox, I have terrible news."

"A very dangerous individual is heading toward your planet right now."

"If you leave immediately, you still have time."

"Lord Kai?!"

Hearing Kaishin’s voice inside his head, Knox froze.

"A dangerous individual?"

"Who is it?"

"The leader of the Pajero Legion. A monster who drains planetary life force to increase his own strength."

"I’m sure you’ve heard the name before."

"He’s targeting your Legion’s territory now."

"The leader of the Pajero Legion..."

Knox frowned slightly.

"You mean Pajero?"
