Game Invasion: 100x Evolution, From Weak to God
Chapter 6: Cosmic Beasts
In a world where people could freely travel between reality and game worlds, aside from official organizations, the strongest forces within Arkenfall were the Four Great Guilds.
Beyond them were various gaming corporations.
The Four Great Guilds gathered a large number of elite players, which meant overwhelming combat power. They had become a crucial civilian force against game world intrusions.
These intrusions occurred far too frequently for official agencies to handle alone. Naturally, game guilds and companies became essential partners.
Unless it was a high-level disaster, most intrusion events were outsourced to guilds and companies.
This led to a key point.
The disaster rating system for game intrusions and the ranking system for player strength were essentially the same.
E Rank: Threatens individuals or small groups, minimal destruction
D Rank: Capable of devastating part of a city
C Rank: Can affect an entire city
B Rank: Can destroy a city in a short time
A Rank: Capable of destroying multiple cities
S Rank: Capable of destroying a nation
SS Rank: Capable of destroying a continental region
SSS Rank: Planet-level destruction
Beyond SSS Rank: Exceeds planetary destruction
These were the world’s disaster classifications.
Players capable of resolving these events were assigned corresponding ranks.
In other words, a B-rank player in reality must have both the strength and experience to handle B-rank disasters.
Based on Ivy’s recorded livestream, both official agencies and the Four Great Guilds unanimously concluded that the super beast in Evolution Battle Royale possessed power beyond SSS rank.
If it could be defeated, it could instantly create an S-rank powerhouse in reality.
And not just any S-rank, but an exceptionally powerful one.
S-rank individuals were the strongest forces on Earth.
How could this not drive every organization into a frenzy?
As for why defeating a beyond-SSS entity would only result in an S-rank player, the reason was simple.
There were strict limitations on bringing power back to reality.
Any power gained in-game would be reduced by two ranks when manifested in reality.
An A-rank player in-game would drop to C-rank in reality.
If a player didn’t reach at least C-rank in-game, they couldn’t bring any power back at all.
That was why so many ordinary people still existed.
Even reaching C-rank in-game was no easy task.
And even then, those players would only be around E-rank in reality, barely above normal humans.
Most were essentially ordinary.
AXN, one of the Four Great Guilds, immediately took action after the super beast incident began spreading.
They launched a full strategy operation for Evolution Battle Royale.
At a core meeting, the guild leader asked Derek:
"Derek, you’re the most experienced with this game. Any thoughts?"
Derek shook his head.
"I’ve played hundreds of matches. I’ve never seen anything like that beast. Forget defeating it, I don’t even know how to trigger it."
"That’s exactly why we need a strategy team. If it were easy, we wouldn’t be planning this. You’ll lead the team. Any issues?"
Derek had no choice but to accept.
"No problem."
The same scene played out across the other three major guilds. Even official agencies couldn’t stay idle.
Countries around the world began mobilizing.
Unbeknownst to Caelum, a global storm had formed because of him. Guilds and governments alike launched massive operations targeting Evolution Battle Royale.
Meanwhile, in the game world—
No one knew how long Caelum had been asleep.
He drifted alone through the vast universe, without direction, until the evolution finally completed.
One day—
A surge of power erupted in deep space.
Asteroids shattered. Planets collapsed. Even stars detonated under its force.
Caelum awakened.
[Evolution Complete]
[Hundredfold Enhancement Triggered]
[All Attributes Enhanced +100]
[Hyperdimensional Senses evolved into Galactic Omniscience]
[Ocean Sovereign evolved into Cosmic Sovereign]
[Plasma Breath evolved into Annihilation Roar]
The effect of Galactic Omniscience was simple.
If Caelum willed it, he could know everything happening within the Milky Way.
All information, all events.
Annihilation Roar was far more terrifying than Plasma Breath. It could strike targets at faster-than-light speeds, erasing anything within a designated area.
One blast could wipe out an entire solar system.
Cosmic Sovereign granted control over cosmic energy itself. It even partially transformed Caelum into a semi-energy lifeform.
With this power, he could create or destroy planets and stars, and travel faster than light.
It was godlike.
His new form was even more imposing. As a semi-energy being, his body was surrounded by deep, dark cosmic energy.
It perfectly matched his species name.
Cosmic Beast.
As for his size—
Caelum now stood at 10 million kilometers tall.
That was ten times the diameter of the Sun.
The Sun in his hand was like a ball.
Earth was no more than a grain of sand.
Caelum felt exhilarated.
"So this is the power of a Tier 3 Lifeform."
Invincible.
If he could bring this power back to reality, even with a two-rank reduction, he could crush Earth effortlessly.
No one would be able to stop him.
But—
What rank would he even count as now?
Beyond SSS?
Probably not enough.
Even though he had destroyed his starting planet, Evolution Battle Royale had no true ending.
His game could continue.
The difference was—
His battlefield was now the Milky Way.
Activating Galactic Omniscience—
Caelum instantly detected the nearest cosmic lifeform.
A ripple of cosmic energy spread from his body. His massive form entered faster-than-light motion.
Thousands of light-years away—
A Cosmic Beast, slightly smaller than Caelum, was devouring a star, completely unaware of the disaster about to descend upon it.
