The man standing beside him glanced at Wang Zhan and said calmly, "Jiang Yin."

Wang Zhan nodded and then introduced himself to the man.

After a brief exchange, Wang Zhan turned to Han Junxiong, who was beside him, and said lightly, "How about this: you stay here for now, and we’ll go in first to check the situation. After all, we don’t know what it’s like inside. Taking you in immediately might put you in danger."

Han Junxiong chuckled, arms crossed, and retorted, "Am I that useless in your eyes? Alright, just relax. No matter what happens, I won’t hold everyone back."

Wang Zhan hesitated for a moment. Jiang Yin, standing nearby, clapped him on the shoulder and laughed. "Since your companion has already said so, let’s go in together. We don’t know the situation inside yet, and perhaps it’s not as dangerous as we imagine."

Wang Zhan nodded. Looking at Han Junxiong beside him, he could only remind him, "Be careful."

After the three came to an agreement, they headed towards the distant Skull Ridge. Since Skull Ridge was suspended in mid-air, it took Wang Zhan and the others considerable effort to reach it. However, thanks to their high cultivation levels, they easily entered the Skull Ridge area.

"Have you ever been to Skull Ridge before?" Wang Zhan glanced at Jiang Yin beside him and asked slowly.

Jiang Yin shook his head and answered, "Although I know what the four Priests are doing, I don’t understand this place very well, nor do I know exactly what kind of place it is."

In the blink of an eye, they had ventured deep into Skull Ridge. As far as they could see, the surroundings were monotonous—nothing but a sea of white bones. Seeing this, Wang Zhan’s expression changed slightly. He frowned and said, "Roughly estimating, quite a number of people must have died here, right?"

Jiang Yin explained, "Since this is your first time in the sea domain, let me briefly explain. This place has a history of thousands of years, meaning countless women have died here over the centuries. Precisely because of this, the number of women in the sea domain has dwindled. If they had strong protectors, they wouldn’t need to worry. Unfortunately, the four Priests have gradually become the dominant force in the sea domain, and no one dares to oppose them."

Upon hearing this, everyone’s expressions turned grim. After exchanging a glance with Han Junxiong, Wang Zhan spoke again, "It seems we’ll need to explore the secrets of this place together. But right now, we still don’t know where the four Priests have hidden the people. And how powerful are those four, anyway?" Wang Zhan nodded but didn’t say anything.

Since they were still unsure what kind of enemies they might encounter, they moved cautiously. Soon, they had searched the entirety of Skull Ridge.

Soon, they arrived at a palace. Looking up at the hovering structure, Wang Zhan said with a smile, "It seems we can now be certain that the only mystery on Skull Ridge lies within this palace before us. If we want to find a breakthrough, we must figure out what’s inside." Han Junxiong and Jiang Yin exchanged a look and then both nodded in agreement. However, although they had a direction, they still faced a dilemma.

Han Junxiong glanced at the hovering palace, then frowned and said, "We know what we need to do, but how do we get inside this palace?"

Wang Zhan narrowed his eyes and summoned the Deep Fire Blade. With a powerful swing, a Fire Dragon materialized out of thin air. "I can ride this Fire Dragon up to the palace, but I’m afraid neither of you could withstand such intense heat."

Han Junxiong, at his side, just smiled. He drew the longsword in his hand and said, "Did you forget that Hu Lao gave me this longsword? Getting inside won’t be difficult."

After they spoke, their gazes fell on Jiang Yin, who stood beside them. Jiang Yin folded his arms and said calmly, "You two don’t need to consider me. Getting up there isn’t difficult. You go first; I’ll follow shortly."

Wang Zhan nodded, then swiftly moved towards the Fire Dragon. Dashing forward a few steps, he soon stood at the entrance of the palace, which was several tens of meters high. Han Junxiong, beside him, wasted no time either. In the blink of an eye, he was standing next to Wang Zhan. Their gazes immediately fell on Jiang Yin. They saw him suddenly clench his fist, and a powerful gust of strong winds appeared before him. The next moment, he slowly rose on the strong winds, and in a few steps, he had joined Wang Zhan and Han Junxiong.

Clearly, each of them possessed unique abilities. This boosted their confidence considerably, as they knew that even if they encountered the Four Priests, they could still put up a fight.

Wang Zhan glanced at Han Junxiong beside him and asked with a smile, "By the way, considering their travel speed, how long will it take for those guys to meet us here?"

Han Junxiong hesitated for a good while before replying, "It shouldn’t take too long. They should be here to meet us soon. However, I’m not sure if they can find a way into this palace. And even if they do get here, with their strength, they might not be of much help. So, we shouldn’t count on them too much."

Wang Zhan said calmly, "That’s not my intention. If we can really flush out everyone hidden here, we’ll naturally need people to receive them. Otherwise, how could those powerless individuals escape from here safely?"

Only then did Han Junxiong say, "If it’s just for that, then having them here could indeed buy us some time. We can count on them for that. But our immediate priority is to find the Four Priests. Only by dealing with them can we avert this crisis."

Time ticked by as Wang Zhan and his two companions began to search the enormous palace before them. Undeniably, the palace was magnificent. Towering pillars lined the pathways, and glowing fluorescent stones were scattered about. These seemed to be for illumination but also added a touch of extravagance to the place. However, the place felt strange. They couldn’t find any openings or see a single soul.

Wang Zhan narrowed his eyes, silently observing everything before him. Then he said, "This place seems to be a huge barrier. Breaching it will definitely cause us some trouble. But if we can’t break through this barrier, things will become even more troublesome. It looks like we’ll need to spend more time on this."

Time passed, second by second. Wang Zhan’s group meticulously searched their surroundings but couldn’t find any weakness in the barrier. For a while, they couldn’t find any way to break through. Wang Zhan stood before the others, then suddenly threw a punch towards the ceiling. Instantly, a massive Fire Light shot upwards, violently colliding with the ceiling. They heard continuous vibrations around them. But after the vibrations subsided, nothing in the area seemed to have changed.

Witnessing this, Wang Zhan quickly turned to Jiang Yin. Since Jiang Yin wasn’t very familiar with the situation here, Wang Zhan asked, "Our top priority is to find a way to break this barrier. I thought we could break through with brute force, but I didn’t expect this barrier to be so sturdy. It seems it can absorb the power we unleash, which makes it quite formidable. I’ve never encountered such a realistic barrier before."

Stepping forward from the side, Han Junxiong drew his longsword and swung it hard at a nearby fluorescent stone. The next moment, that particular silver light stone instantly shattered into powder. Han Junxiong’s expression changed. He quickly moved aside and said, "This seems to be the way to break the barrier, right?"

Wang Zhan frowned slightly. He drew his Deep Fire Blade and fiercely slashed at the other fluorescent stones. In an instant, all those fluorescent stones shattered. But as the fluorescent stones shattered, the surroundings grew progressively darker. Wang Zhan immediately brandished his Deep Fire Blade. As a Fire Dragon soared from it, the area lit up again. Yet, there was still no change within the barrier.

Wang Zhan spoke again, "It seems we need to find another way. If we can’t break this barrier, will we be trapped here forever?" When he thought of those who were prepared to come looking for him at any time, his expression darkened considerably. After all, if Xiang Tian and the others entered the sea domain, the situation would become much more complicated.
