Jiang Yin’s expression changed slightly as he stood to the side. He immediately revealed the ancient zither in his hand, quickly plucking the strings.

Wang Zhan squinted and said nonchalantly, "I merely didn’t want to fight you, but since you won’t stop chattering, I’m not going to let you go. Even if it harms the White Tiger Venerable’s body, removing you is no loss for us."

Jiang Yin and Luo Xue’s strikes were also closing in, forcing the White Tiger Venerable into a dire situation. Even so, he had to grit his teeth and fight Wang Zhan and the others head-on. Any slight mistake could lead to serious injury, at which point Wang Zhan would have many ways to expel him from the White Tiger Venerable’s body.

Thunderous sounds echoed from the sky as the White Tiger Venerable’s face grew increasingly somber, clearly feeling unprecedented pressure.

Beneath a huge blade light, the White Tiger Venerable felt a sharp pain in his chest, and he was sent flying, crashing heavily to the ground.

The White Tiger Venerable swiftly changed his tone and said, "This would greatly benefit you, allowing you to significantly increase your cultivation and outpace these two. Rest assured, when that time comes, you and I will be firm allies, and no one on the Star War Battlefield will be able to trouble you."

Wang Zhan shook his head and said indifferently, "You still don’t understand your position. You have no value to negotiate with us. You’d better tell me everything obediently. If you test my patience and limits, I might kill you without another word."

The White Tiger Venerable showed no trace of fear. He shook his head and murmured, "You should understand the relationship between me and the White Tiger Venerable. We share this body, but are linked inseparably. What he thinks, I know, and vice versa. I know there’s a place to enhance power, proving the White Tiger Venerable knows it too."

"Have you thought about why he knows this but hasn’t told you?"

Luo Xue quickly approached Wang Zhan, leaned over, and whispered, "Brother Wang, he’s clearly trying to drive a wedge between you and the White Tiger Venerable. Don’t fall for it."

Wang Zhan’s eyes changed. He squinted and whispered in a low voice, "Do you think I don’t understand what this guy is up to?"

Luo Xue immediately understood, smiled, and remained silent.

Wang Zhan then returned to stand in front of the White Tiger Venerable, looking down at him and asking bitingly, "So, are you planning to continue wasting time here?"

The White Tiger Venerable gritted his teeth, clenching his fists, contemplating heavily, then said, "That place contains the remnants of some fallen experts’ souls, but they’re without consciousness. Absorbing these remnants could rapidly increase your strength."

"The gap between us is far beyond your imagination. If not for certain reasons sealing away some power and being unable to fully exert the White Tiger Venerable’s capabilities, what would you three amount to?"

In truth, Wang Zhan was well aware of this. He had seen the Azure Dragon Venerable’s skills firsthand. Though powerful, the Azure Dragon Venerable seemed to have a mission and consistently stayed in that space. Wang Zhan didn’t know why but sensed the Azure Dragon Venerable’s pressure.

He then asked, "Where has everyone in the city gone?"

You know their skills; staying with me would be a burden. I didn’t let them stay long, making them leave early."

"As for where they went now, I really can’t say."

Wang Zhan slightly narrowed his eyes and then said, "Everyone has their fate, and with the strong demonic beasts gone from around Flying Cloud City, they shouldn’t be in danger. But I’m more concerned about Xiang Tian’s safety. Did he leave with the others?"

Luo Xue awkwardly smiled and said, "I seem to have forgotten this."

"What do you mean?"

Wang Zhan asked, puzzled.

"When news came about the White Tiger Venerable returning, I immediately went out with everyone to confront him, so I didn’t consider Xiang Tian. But everyone who could fight had already rushed out of Flying Cloud City and encountered the White Tiger Venerable, though I never saw Xiang Tian. He must still be within Flying Cloud City, not having left."

Wang Zhan smiled, considering this good news. The Star War Battlefield is vast, and losing Xiang Tian again would make reuniting difficult.
