Chapter 347: Chapter 326: Cutting Space, the Black King Strikes

The Griffin Knights charged into the Demon Fire Crow Group.

With every dive and spiraling turn, the Griffins precisely tore apart or knocked away a Demon Fire Crow.

In an instant, black feathers and dark red Mars rained down, and the flock’s strange caws turned into terrified Wailing.

Terrified by this legion of raptors that had descended from the sky, their already chaotic formation instantly collapsed, and they began to scatter and flee in every direction.

The Knights weren’t looking for a drawn-out battle. Their mission was to drive them off.

A massive chase unfolded across the sky.

Like sheepdogs herding a flock, the Griffin Knights relentlessly drove the panicked Fire Demon Crows away from the mountain peak, chasing them until they became tiny black dots on the horizon and vanished from sight.

After circling and scouting for another ten minutes or so to ensure there were no more prying eyes, Ed led his Knights back to report.

"Sir, the airspace is clear."

"Good."

Raylo nodded.

"All units, land."

The squadron landed in a dense forest on the side of the mountain peak.

With Moonlight’s help, Sun’s body slowly shrank. He settled onto a relatively open clearing just outside the forest.

Meanwhile, the Hill Giants curiously surveyed their surroundings. One of the Giants reached out, snapped off a small tree, and began using it as a toothpick.

Ed, accompanied by several of his Personal Guard, expertly pushed aside a thick curtain of vines and shrubs.

A cave entrance, cleverly concealed by branches and fallen leaves, was revealed before them.

Inside, the cave was cold and damp.

A few Light Crystals were embedded in the cave walls, their soft glow making everyone’s shadows stretch and shrink erratically.

They reached a stone wall deep inside the cave.

Raylo walked up to the stone wall and held out his hand. He could feel a faint pull, and from the other side, the distinct aura of a different space.

His brow furrowed in worry. The Fire Demon Crows outside were like a thorn in his side.

’This entrance has been exposed. Even if we manage to hunt down and kill every one of these scouts today, there’s no guarantee the Black Dragon, the Black King, won’t send an even stronger Power.’

’Abandon this place?’

’Absolutely not.’

’I can’t possibly abandon this planar passage to the Giant Dragon Realm.’

His gaze fell upon Coal Ball, who was curiously pawing at the moss on the cave wall with its tiny claws.

This little guy was a Space Young Dragon, born with an innate understanding of space.

A bold, perhaps even insane, idea began to form in his mind.

He crouched down and beckoned to Coal Ball.

Coal Ball scampered over to his feet and tilted its little head up, its large, Obsidian-like eyes filled with pure curiosity.

Raylo pointed at the stone wall, then gestured toward the distant Black Stone Territory, and finally made a "carrying" motion with his hands.

Coal Ball cocked its head, seemingly trying to process the complex command.

Nearby, Moonlight gave a lazy yawn, gently tapped Coal Ball’s head with the tip of its tail, and glanced at the spatial rift, letting out a low rumble.

That little tap seemed to do the trick.

The little creature’s eyes instantly lit up. It looked from the spatial rift to Raylo, then suddenly puffed out its small chest and patted it firmly, striking a "leave it to me" pose.

It even made a cutting and grabbing motion with its forepaws, its expression brimming with a "this is easy" sort of confidence.

Sun’s shrunken, golden head drew closer, its golden, slitted pupils filled with skepticism.

"Raylo, don’t tell me you’re actually thinking of having this little guy pack up the spatial rift and carry it away. This isn’t packing a suitcase; this is tearing at the rules of the world."

"Rules are made to be broken."

Raylo rose to his feet, his gaze fixed intensely on Coal Ball.

"Let it try."

Permission granted, Coal Ball let out an excited cry, its tiny body practically vibrating with eager energy. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

It ran up to the wall bearing the spatial rift and circled it twice with great solemnity, as if surveying the terrain.

Then, it took a deep breath. A profound black light, one that seemed to devour light itself, materialized out of thin air around its two forepaws.

"SCHRRIIIP!"

A sound rang out, like tearing fabric, but a hundred times sharper.

Coal Ball swiped one of its small claws through the air toward the edge of the stone wall. Instantly, a jet-black, hairline crack appeared out of nowhere.

It wasn’t a physical cut. The light and air around the crack were distorted and consumed, revealing a heart-stopping void.

Its small claws flew up and down, moving so fast they left afterimages.

Blade after blade of pure space struck the area around the stone wall with pinpoint precision, forming a perfect rectangle.

With each slash, the Magic Power within the cave grew more chaotic. Even Sun instinctively took half a step back, a look of utter shock on its draconic face.

As the final cut landed, the entire border of the rectangle flashed with black light.

The section of stone wall, a full three meters high and two meters wide, along with the distorted spatial rift attached to it, eerily and silently "popped" forward, detaching completely from the rest of the mountain.

What was even more shocking was that once the wall was "cut" away, it didn’t leave a hole where it had been. Instead, there was only a patch of pure, indescribable "nothingness."

It was a depression in space, a blind spot in the world—a void that no light, no matter, and no perception could reach.

With a strained wave of its small claw, Coal Ball brought the hovering "Space Stone Wall" down to land steadily on the ground with a heavy thud.

After all that, the little creature seemed to have exhausted its strength. It staggered, then plopped down on its rear. Still, it raised its small head, its expression one of defiant pride.
