A dim, dark light flickered.

It scattered fine, unidentifiable particles.

These fine particles echoed through the Space, colliding with equally fine points of light.

Everything seemed to proceed in silence, with nothing out of the ordinary.

But only a being within this environment could know what terrifying changes were taking place.

This was a Space, cut off from everything else.

It was not a Divine Kingdom, but it was remarkably similar, for this place was a domain projected by a Star Core.

In essence, entering this projected domain was equivalent to entering the planet’s Star Core.

It also meant that any being who entered this domain would receive the full protection of the Mana Will.

For the Mana Will to go to such lengths, the being in question had to be a Dominator or a Star God.

Even a Pseudo-Dominator was still a Dominator, and could be considered half a Star God.

Take the Crimson World and the Ancient Blood God, for example. Why, after Lince captured his Divine Body, did it still take five hundred years in the True Game to complete his ’decomposition’?

The reason is simple. Although the Blood God was captured and his Divine Body entered a state of death, his Spiritual essence had long since merged with the Mana Will.

Therefore, dying twice had only severely wounded the Blood God’s Spiritual essence and completely exhausted the Blood Energy stockpiled in the Crimson World.

So, the Blood God was still technically alive, but in a deep coma.

Thus, only when the True Game completely seized the Mana Will of the Crimson World would it have the Power to truly kill the Blood God and dismantle all of his authority.

Dominators and Star Gods, in the end, were simply Deities who had completely mastered an entire world.

If that weren’t the case, the Blood God would never have been able to create things like blessings in the Crimson World, much less make the very earth capable of sucking blood.

It was only because Lince was powerful enough, even possessing immense Law Power of Space, that he managed to kill the Blood God twice.

Otherwise, under normal circumstances, if that guy had hidden himself, it would have been nearly impossible to completely take control of the Crimson World.

Even if the Star Empire had conquered the mortal realm of the Crimson World, as long as the Blood God existed, the Star Empire couldn’t even dream of doing any sort of construction there.

After all, if the planet was periodically wracked by massive earthquakes, great storms, or huge blizzards, no one would have an easy time.

But this was something only a Star God of the Blood God’s level could accomplish.

As for the Square World, even when the Twin Main Gods merged to become the two-sided so-called God of Destiny, they were merely a Pseudo-Dominator Level existence.

There was much they could do with the Mana Will, but they were absolutely incapable of reaching the Blood God’s level.

At this moment, above the Star Realm and within the domain projected by the Mana Will, it could be said that all the Deities of the Square World had gathered.

Of course, they hadn’t gathered here simply to discuss how to deal with the Giant Serpent God.

It was more of a gathering for refuge. At this point, it was no longer safe for the Deities in the Square World, even when hiding in their own Divine Kingdoms. Only within the domain of the Mana Will could they block the terrifying Power of Contamination emanating from the Giant Serpent God.

This terrifying Power of Contamination was far beyond imagination.

After all, right here in this domain, five previously infected Deities were desperately fighting against the Power’s attempt to transform them, body and soul.

The Square World did not lack for Deities.

There were seventy-eight Deities in total.

Among them were nine of High Divine Power, twenty-eight of Medium Divine Power, and forty-one of Weak Divine Power.

All of these Deities were Subordinate Gods to the Twin Gods.

Naturally, this world would not permit the emergence of any other Main Gods.

At this moment, within this domain, two Deities were looking up at the sky above.

There, an illusory and brilliant Square Chessboard was being projected.

And upon this chessboard sat a Deity, his entire being radiating terrifying fluctuations of Power.

This Deity was none other than the Twin Gods, the God of Fantasy and Reality.

However, now that the two Twin Gods had merged into one, their divine name had become that of this world’s so-called Supreme Deity: the God of Destiny.

The God of Destiny—this was easy to understand. Since he presided over the fate of the entire world, it was not difficult to see why he would possess the Power of the Destiny Law.

"I wonder when this feeling of being imprisoned will ever end."

"Do you think the God of Destiny will really be able to drive away that big thing outside the Star Realm once he has fully merged?"
