Raymond Family

Angus saw everyone was silent. He knew that they were scared of offering a solution. If their idea were to fail, he might take his anger out on them.

He then thought of a solution. There were some powerful wizards who specialized in tracking. If they were to offer help, then they could locate his son’s whereabouts.

But if he were to pick this plan, then he would have to publicize the abduction of his son. This would put the entire city in chaos.

Angus contemplated before making his final decision.

He looked at the others and said, "Everyone, I’m going to publicize the news."

Hearing that, the main elders were shocked, but they understood the reason. As the main elders, they were not providing any help in this situation.

Their faces burned with shame.

Main Elder Kelly chose to remain silent. She didn’t know whom they were facing. The enemy was in the dark, but they were in the light and clueless.

"I know this could put the whole city in a state of alert. But we are running out of time. We don’t know the motive of the enemy yet."

"So I’ll go and talk to the Head of the State." After saying that, Agnus stood up. He then asked everyone to disperse.

He didn’t need anyone accompanying him. He was going to meet the Head of the State alone. He was worried that there could be a mole in the family.

He didn’t want the enemy to know any of his moves. Then he left the estate and went to meet the government people and the Head of the State.

In the blink of an eye, he flew towards the massive floating building above the city. No one was allowed to enter except the Heads of the Wizard Families.

Because they held some positions as well, as they participated in the battles at the border. Their status was no less than that of the government officials.

The Head of the State was an old man named Douglas. He was an Elder-Level Powerhouse. Right now, the old man was in his office.

Then he sensed someone coming to his place. He felt the presence of someone known. Then he found out the person was none other than Agnus.

A quick gleam appeared in his eyes. He knew that an arrogant man wouldn’t come here without a reason.

Agnus barged into the room without asking for permission. He saw the old man Douglas behind the desk.

"My son was abducted," he said.

Hearing that, the old man was stunned. Then he took a second to realize.

"Are you serious?"

"Who could do that to him?" Douglas asked.

He thought Agnus was joking. But there was silence. There was hidden anger in the eyes of Agnus.

The old man’s expression turned solemn.

He said, "Tell me what happened from the beginning."

Agnus sat on the chair. He then began to tell the story.

Douglas didn’t know what to say, because it was hard to believe. It had never happened before. Someone dared to abduct the heir of a Wizard Family in their capital city.

If the news were to leak to the public, the government would lose face. Not only that, their nation would become a laughingstock in front of other nations.

The old man began to ponder. He knew it was of the utmost importance to find Raymond. Otherwise, the person in front of him might take drastic action.

They still didn’t know which enemy had taken action. To think someone had used a space wizard.. His heart stirred. High-level Space Wizards were hard to come across.

But the enemy had not only hired such a person but used them to abduct the young master. Douglas then collected his thoughts.

He made a decision. The next second, he summoned a few people to his office. They were government officials responsible for law, order, and crime-related tasks.

Five wizards wearing government uniforms appeared and walked into the room. All of them were Magic Lords, none weaker.

Agnus’s eyes flickered. That’s why he had come here. These five people were famous for their magic powers. Two of them had formidable magic power used in tracking. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

They were so talented that they had developed their own mental methods and broke through to become Magic Lords.

"You guys have come. There is a special case for your team. Someone abducted Young Master Raymond from the Raymond Family," Douglas said.

Hearing that, the faces of the five Magic Lords changed drastically. It was more than just special for them. Agnus Raymond was right here before them.

So they believed it was the truth.

"Do you want to say something to them?" Douglas said.

Agnus nodded his head before talking about his son’s disappearance. His son had disappeared from his room while the sky carrier was on its way back to the Raymond Estate.

He told them the exact words of the butler. He had confirmed the butler’s words were true with the help of an elder in the family.

The five Magic Lords understood. They looked towards the old man, who nodded to them. There was no additional information.

The five lords were middle-aged men. They decided to start their work by checking the sky carrier.

If they could get some clues, it would be good. Then, everything was decided. Agnus left the office. He was not done yet.

He was going to hire some more people. For example, the assassin organization. Their wizards specialized not only in killing but in tracking as well. He was going to seek their help.

But there was a little problem. Their base was not in the country. He had to cross the border. For his son, he decided to do just that.

He needed as much help as possible. At the same time, he was also waiting for the enemy side to contact him. If it was done for any political reason, then the matter could be discussed.

There was no need to use power to kill each other.

On the other hand, the five Magic Lords got some instructions from the old man Douglas before leaving. He wanted the information as soon as possible.

Then the lords left the place. After some preparation, they would leave for the Raymond Family Estate.
