"Young man, I didn’t expect to see you here so soon," Old Man Barry said.

Hearing that, my vigilance rose. I asked the system to probe him. The system results came out as negative.

So I ignored the suspicion for a second. Then I walked past him and entered the room. I saw the little girl lying in the bed.

Her complexion remained the same. Then I checked her condition using the system. She had only ten days to live.

Fortunately, I made it back on time.

Old Man Barry entered the room. He saw the young man. He knew that the young man had a mysterious background.

But the Wizard Raymond Family was not ordinary either. They had an Elder Level Ancestor. He had hidden things earlier.

He wanted to see what the young man was going to do. Otherwise, he might have already knocked on the door of the Raymond Estate. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

It was because of the Elder Level Powerhouse that he stayed back.

I felt the gaze of Old Man Barry. I sneered inwardly. This old man hid things from me. I didn’t know what his intentions were behind it.

But he was going to be disappointed.

The next second, I brought Young Master Raymond outside. He was stunned. Then he looked around before his gaze fell on me.

Raymond’s pupils shrank. He then saw the little girl and the old man standing at the door.

"Look at the girl. She was implicated by your magic. Take back the dark poison," I told him.

Hearing that, Raymond collected his thoughts. He suppressed his fear and looked at the little girl.

Old Man Barry was stunned. He recognized the person.

"Raymond," he uttered in anger.

Boom!

The next second, a monstrous coercion released from his body. The coercion struck the stone house.

The stone house blasted into pieces.

Raymond was stunned. He didn’t expect the old man to attack. He had long seen through the strength of the old man.

He was afraid that the coercion would hit the masked man. It would offend the force behind him.

On the other hand, I protected the little girl from the coercion.

Raymond was taken aback.

The next second, Raymond appeared before the old man. He extended his hand. Dark mana surged forth from his palm.

Boom!

The dark mana immediately destroyed the coercion and suppressed Old Man Barry.

"Old man, if you make another move, you will die," Raymond said in a cold tone.

Old Man Barry shuddered. He didn’t expect he would be so easily suppressed. He couldn’t even move his body right now.

Barry then calmed his heart and returned to normal.

Seeing that, Raymond snorted and returned to the side of the kid.

He saw her condition and understood it immediately.

His earlier anger disappeared. He then touched her hand. Then he used his magic spell.

A black magic circle appeared under his index finger. The next second, the magic circle started to absorb the dark mana poison in the child’s body.

The little girl was still unconscious. She made a small sound in pain. Slowly, a dark liquid came out of her body. It was immediately sucked by the black magic circle.

On the other hand, I nodded my head. Raymond was doing his work. He was not backtracking. Like I had guessed, he could take back the dark mana from the victim’s body.

It saved a lot of trouble. We didn’t have to look for someone else.

Old Man Barry was overjoyed. He was shedding tears. He didn’t expect Raymond to appear here. He was now saving his descendant.

All of this was because of the masked man. He was now sure that the masked man’s background was terrifying.

He had made the young master of the Raymond Family obey.

Time passed.

Slowly, all the dark poison liquid from the little girl was removed. She was weak but alright now. She was no longer in any danger.

Raymond sighed in relief. He was the most joyful right now. The girl was not facing any danger, which meant he was saved.

Old Man Barry appeared next to the girl as well. He personally checked her condition. Seeing that she was fine, he was shocked to the core.

"Thank you, Young Master, for saving my descendant," Old Man Barry said to Raymond.

Raymond’s eyes flashed with a glint.

"You should be thanking him," Raymond uttered.

Old Man Barry looked toward the masked man. He didn’t know what to say. Words were not coming out of his mouth because he had hidden things from him.

On the other hand, I saw through the old man’s thoughts.

"The little girl is saved right now. Take care of her. I have to go." After saying that, I turned to Raymond.

"You can go back to your estate. Your family must be looking for you. But remember, don’t tell anyone. Just tell them you had gone to a mountain range to practice," I said to him.

Raymond shuddered. He nodded his head firmly.

Seeing that, Old Man Barry was shocked. He couldn’t describe his inner feelings. He had never seen such an expression from Young Master Raymond.

If the people in the capital knew about it, they would be speechless.

"Good," I uttered.

The next second, I left the place. In a flash, I stood in mid-air and gave a last look at the place before continuing with my journey.

I got a super relic from this place. I guess I have repaid it through the girl. With a smile on my face, I decided to go to the Opal Magic Forest.

I didn’t want to stop anywhere in between.

Raymond only felt the hanging sword of death leave from above his head. He then looked at the little girl. She was still unconscious.

He then took out precious healing resources. One of them was a rare blue fruit known for its mild power. It had gentle energy, so it could be consumed by anyone.

He fed a few pieces of the fruit into the little girl’s mouth. A blue-colored energy entered her body.

The energy flowed through her. She gained strength through the blue energy.

Her complexion turned better. Her mind and soul got strengthened as well.

She opened her eyes and looked around her.

Raymond smiled and said, "Hereafter, no one will attack. You guys can live in peace."

After saying that, he left the stone house. Raymond wanted to talk to his father. He was afraid that the capital was overturned right now.
