Swamp land

The raven aircraft is flying over the swamp land. I’m watching the outside view.

[Ding! Solar Berry fruit detected.]

[Ding! The host can consume the fruit to cleanse the poison in the body.]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, my heart stirred. I didn’t expect to hear about the magic fruit.

I slowed down the speed of the aircraft. Then I used the system instructions to locate the area. I turned the aircraft to the right side.

The aircraft flew over the swamp land. It goes deeper. My gaze swept across the place. There are trees and other vegetation.

But there is one particular spot where the magic tree is larger than usual.

Seeing that, I was stunned. I saw the crimson and golden mixed fruit hanging over different branches of the tree.

I used the system probe function. Then I found out that it was the magic fruit called Solar Berry Fruit.

But there is one problem that lies before me. It’s because it was no ordinary magic tree. It’s a magic tree monster.

Then I used the system probe function.

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I calmed my heart. Then I appeared outside and put away the aircraft inside the system space.

My gaze then fell on the magic tree. The magic tree is over 60ft. I rushed to the magic tree. In the blink of an eye, I reached the place.

Boom!

The Magic Tree was alarmed. The next second, several magic roots shot out from the ground. They were shot at the target one after another.

I saw as many as a hundred tree roots coming at me. The coercion coming from the roots is at the level of the Magic Lord.

If it were others, they would be hindered by the pressure. But I’m different; I was able to withstand the pressure.

When the roots were about to hit me, I shifted my body weight. The next second, I evaded the attacks one after another.

Boom!

The sharp roots tore through the empty air. The magic tree monster missed the target. It was taken aback.

The tree monster has human-like intelligence. It sensed the strength of the intruder is that of a 10th order monster.

Yet the human wizard was able to escape. It didn’t hold back its strength. The next moment, it used its full strength.

Boom!

As many as a thousand roots burst out from the ground. In the blink of an eye, all thousand roots shot towards the target.

The tree roots are like a cage, trying to trap the target from all sides.

At the beginning, I was able to evade the attacks one after another. I’m aware of the monster’s intelligence as well.

Only when a root was about to pierce me, I evaded the attack at the last moment. The dark roots pierced the empty air near me.

As time went on, I found out that the attacks from the roots were increasing. Not only had the number of roots increased, their speed had increased as well.

A hint of surprise flashes in my eyes. I underestimated the strength of the monster.

The monster didn’t use its full strength earlier.

The next second, I cast a magic spell.

"Repulsive Force"

A powerful magic spell was cast. A repulsive magic force released from my body. In the blink of an eye, the repulsive force came in contact with the roots.

Boom!

A deafening noise occurred. Upon contact, the power shredded the roots one after another. But the repulsive force spread in all directions.

Because of it, the tree monster didn’t suffer the direct brunt. Only one part of the power struck its body.

Shriek!

The Tree Monster let out a sound. The sound was like wailing. I noticed the roots were frozen in mid-air. The tree monster appeared to be paralyzed.

It was the right time to snatch the solar berry fruit. I immediately moved close towards the magic tree.

Fortunately, the tree didn’t recover. I immediately snatched a couple of berry fruits. I put them away in the system space.

Boom!

The next second, the magic tree monster came back to its senses. The tree monster used another ability.

Swoosh!

The Tree Monster used its roots to shoot out sharp spikes. Hundreds of spikes released from the tree roots.

In a flash, they got closer towards me.

A hint of coldness flashes in my eyes.

"Gravity Domain"

I cast the magic spell. A black sphere appeared all of a sudden. The domain enveloped everything. The spikes inside the domain felt the pressure.

Boom!

The next second, the sharp spikes felt the pressure. The spikes shredded into pieces. They couldn’t handle the coercion inside the domain.

The pressure applied on the spikes. All the spikes inside the domain were already destroyed completely.

In a flash, I cancelled the magic spell. I rushed out of the place. In a flash, I left the area of the magic tree.

Shriek!

The Magic Tree let out a wailing sound. Some of the roots got caught in the domain. Because of it, the roots were damaged as well.

It couldn’t believe the human wizard was able to escape. Not only had the human wizard escaped, he was able to snatch a few fruits as well.

It cannot move from the place, so it didn’t follow the human wizard. It let it go.

On the other hand, I reached a safe place.

I took the raven aircraft outside. I entered the cockpit. Then I started operating the aircraft.

Swoosh!

The aircraft left the place. I returned to the previous position. From there, I operated the aircraft in a straight path.

The aircraft flies at top speed. It’s flying above the clouds. There is no danger from the swamp land. No tree monster can use its roots to reach the aircraft.

After crossing a couple of miles, I put the aircraft on stealth mode. I have decided to consume the solar berry fruit at night.

In the meantime, I focused on operating. The aircraft flies smoothly. I’m enjoying the cold wind brushing against my face.
