Chaotic Land

From the beginning to the end, the red smoke didn’t have the opportunity to make a move. The zero puppet returned to the flight.

Then it was explained to the master.

A few minutes later,

A quick gleam appeared in my eyes. I didn’t expect there to be a wide river ahead. Then I took the map outside and viewed it.

I located the river called the "Undying River." Once they cross the river, they will get closer to the chaotic land border.

Then they can enter the opal magic forest. My heart rose with excitement. Finally, they were getting closer to their destination.

But then, the river didn’t seem to be an ordinary river. I made a decision to fly the aircraft high in the sky. Then I told the zero puppet about the decision before resuming the journey.

The zero puppet didn’t find anything about the undying river in its database. So, it could not offer any new information. It entered the cabin before reverting to its original form.

Time passed.

In the post-noon, the system reminded me with a series of notifications. Apparently, there was a den of bandits here. The highest strength was a Magic Lord.

After getting the information from the system, I thought of plundering the resources there. I stopped the aircraft. Then I summoned the zero puppet and gave it new orders.

The zero puppet in red smoke forms left through the window. It went to the ground in the blink of an eye. Then it began to look for wizard activity.

Since the Master had said it, the zero puppet believed it to be true. It didn’t take long for the puppet to find two people. They were going somewhere.

The red smoke followed them from behind. After going through the hard routes, the two people entered the underground den.

The underground den was built like a huge palace. There were many rooms inside with magic pearls illuminating the place. The red smoke spent further time collecting information.

2 hours later,

The red smoke returned to the aircraft and told me everything. Hearing that, my heart stirred. I didn’t expect to get a chance to plunder free resources.

I decided to take action tonight. So, I appeared inside the system space along with the Raven aircraft and the zero puppet. Then I began to wait.

Midnight came,

I appeared outside with the zero puppet and landed on the ground. Then I started following the zero puppet. On the way, the zero puppet came across some wizards.

I told the puppet to eliminate them. The zero puppet in red smoke form went through their bodies one after another.

The next second, they were corroded by the dark mana. Their bodies stiffened and black veins became visible. They found it hard to breathe before collapsing onto the ground.

After they were dead, I went to the side of the bodies to analyze them. After using the system, I found out that their inner organs were corroded. They had lost their function.

On top of it, their mana core was affected as well. Seeing that, my eyes gleamed with a twinkle. I was right the power of the zero puppet was extraordinary.

I didn’t know whether it could affect the Forbidden Wizards. Soon, we reached the underground chambers.

An old man charged at me upon seeing me. Seeing that, I told the zero puppet to leave him. Before the old man could cast a magic spell,

Swoosh!

I appeared in front of him. Then I raised my hand and pointed my index finger toward him.

"Gravity Blast"

I cast the magic spell the next moment. A gray-colored magic power released from my finger and struck him. The spell attack contained the magic rule power.

Boom!

The power blasted away the old man’s body. His body turned to blood mist before crashing onto the ground.

Seeing that, I was impressed. The rule power was stronger than I thought. It didn’t take long for me to hear screams.

The zero puppet was corroding the bodies of the bandits hiding underground. Next, I entered the place. I saw the bodies on the ground.

Then the zero puppet led me to the treasury. I wasn’t hoping to find a special relic. If there were mana stones, then it would be fine.

In the last corridor, there was a huge iron door. I blasted away the iron door. The next second, I saw gold and silver. It was the kind used by regular humans. I saw gold jewels as well.

The zero puppet found mid-grade mana stones hidden in a box. There was not just one storage box, but more than five were here.

The zero puppet reverted to its original form and checked the wooden storage boxes. Only one of them was filled with mid-grade mana stones.

The rest of the storage boxes were filled with low-grade mana stones. I collected all of the wooden storage boxes into my storage ring.

Then I told the zero puppet to check whether any maps were here. Since the border was closer to this place, I was sure the bandits would have maps.

The zero puppet changed into its red smoke form and began to search the room. The inventory room didn’t have the map.

But the zero puppet knew the room of the bandit head might have maps and other information. It quickly found the closed room in the next passage.

The inventory room was located close to the bandit head’s room. The red smoke entered inside and found a wooden desk.

It began to open the drawers one by one. It found some ledgers and, eventually, a modern map. The zero puppet collected all of it before going back to the inventory room.

"Master, here is the map," the zero puppet replied.

Hearing that, I accepted the map and began to view the information. The map had marked various places near the Undying River territory.

My gaze scanned the other places. The region far away from the undying river was only marked as a dangerous area.

Only after going through the dangerous area can you reach the border to the opal magic forest. It appeared the region beyond the undying river was not a human habitat.

I gained some clarity looking through the map.
