A flicker appeared in Li Wei’s eyes. ’Did the thief not show up, or was the Shadow Attendant discovered?’

He glanced at the Shadow Attendant, feeling its current strength was a bit lacking.

The Shadow Attendant was still at Tier Two Peak.

A huge Nightmare Vortex was continuously devouring the surrounding Dream Bubbles, and gray figures were constantly being born within it.

Every gray figure was a Nightmare.

This giant Nightmare Vortex was the one belonging to the Floating City.

At the center of the Nightmare Vortex, there was a stable Dream Bubble that existed within the vortex but had not merged with it.

Li Wei had seen similar bubbles before.

The headquarters of the Wandering God Association was built within such a Dream Bubble.

Since this was the Elemental Tower’s territory, Li Wei couldn’t help but suspect that there were powerful Dream Weavers within the Elemental Tower as well.

This didn’t seem particularly strange.

The Shadow Attendant flew forward and pounced.

The Nightmare, having been attacked, reacted instantly, turning to grapple with the Shadow Attendant.

A few minutes later, the Shadow Attendant finally killed the Nightmare and obtained its Nightmare Core.

"The Nightmares in the Floating City are a bit high-level. Even a random one is a Tier Two Nightmare."

Li Wei had the Shadow Attendant hunt Nightmares in the Floating City’s dreamscape.

A night passed.

The Shadow Attendant leveled up, becoming a Tier Three Middle Level Nightmare.

It acquired a new Skill: "Shadow Escape".

Li Wei tossed a Tier Four Nightmare Core to the Shadow Attendant.

"After you finish digesting this Nightmare Core, you should advance to Tier Three High Level."

Digesting a Tier Four Nightmare Core was no easy task for the Shadow Attendant.

It would take some time.
