Grinding to Become the Master of the Universe
Chapter 331 - 165: The Formidability of a Sky Soaring Martial Artist, a Lifetime of Learning, and an Epiphany of the Ultimate Move [Golden Throne]
"Greenskin gathering places possess an extremely strong WAAAGH! field. Subspace Teleportation generally won’t teleport you directly into the field’s core."
Linzhou’s steady voice rang through their four-man comms channel. He was in the habit of explaining things to Qin Feng, the least experienced member of the team. "It’d be like diving headfirst into a cauldron of boiling oil. The Teleportation Beacon would be severely disrupted, the drop zone would shift unpredictably, and you could even be torn apart by the violent energies of Subspace."
He paused before adding, "Of course, it’s not completely impossible. If there’s a truly urgent military matter, there are always fearless Madmen willing to take that risk. It’s just that the casualty rate would be frighteningly high."
Qin Feng nodded, indicating he understood.
His gaze swept over the barren, hostile land before him.
The four of them stood silently, like four Steel Demon Gods from ancient mythology, exuding a cold and lethal aura.
In their armor, they all stood at a terrifying 2.4 meters tall, heavy and menacing in a style reminiscent of Warhammer.
Qin Feng wore the "Punisher I-Class" Standard Power Armor. Although it was the most ordinary set of the four, when worn by him, it took on an exceptional, mountain-like solidity, a result of his contained yet terrifying life force.
He gripped a Level 4 Standard Alloy Long Spear, its blade glinting with a sinister, cold light under the dim yellow sky.
Linzhou’s power armor was heavily customized. Its lines were more fluid, and the auxiliary thrusters on his shoulders and legs revealed his extreme pursuit of mobility.
The spearhead was already affixed to the shaft in his hands, its tip glinting coldly.
Carlo’s form was the strangest. His power armor possessed a kind of asymmetrical aesthetic; his right arm was noticeably thicker and more savage than his left, ending in a pair of massive Power Claws that arced with energy.
He leaned against a massive, rusted boulder, like a bird of prey ready to pounce on its quarry at any moment.
And Yu Lin was the team’s heavy anchor.
His power armor was the heaviest, and carved upon its pauldrons was the Canaan Star Martial Arts University Emblem, exuding an air of classical magnificence and iron-blooded dominance.
The dark gold Long Saber he cradled was as wide as a door panel. The complex patterns on its blade seemed to breathe slowly, silently telling of the countless powerful enemies it had slain.
On the four men’s Tactical HUDs, a holographic map constructed jointly by the S-class Intelligent Assistant, Hammer, and the Fearless Warband’s database had already unfolded.
A coordinate point flashing with red light was clearly marked in the center of the map. Surrounding it was a large green area representing high-density life signals.
That was the heart of the Green-skinned Tribe.
The Primordial Acupoints were within.
The men exchanged a silent glance. Behind their cold visors lay an equally cold killing intent.
They were all waiting for their captain’s command.
"The Primordial Acupoints are located in the core of the Green-skinned Tribe."
Qin Feng’s voice broke the silence, so calm it was without a single ripple. "It seems we’ll have to wipe out all the Greenskins in this area."
"Heh."
Carlo let out a low chuckle. The joints of his Power Claw opened and closed with a grating KRA-CHUNK.
"Then let’s kill."
Yu Lin was concise. The Long Saber cradled in his arms lifted slightly, its blade pointing directly at the distant silhouette of the tribe.
Linzhou laughed heartily, twirling the spear shaft in his hands. "It’s been a while since I’ve had a proper rampage. These Greenskins will be perfect for a warm-up."
"You three seniors are all Sixth-Level Soaring Martial Artists and have already begun cultivating Mental Power. I don’t have much understanding of Mental Power."
Qin Feng said frankly, not forcefully taking command just because he was the captain. "So, during the battle, you three can act as you see fit. I won’t over-direct your combat."
He paused, his steady gaze sweeping over his three teammates’ visors.
"I trust that with our instincts as Martial Artists, we can achieve perfect coordination."
"That’s a given."
Linzhou, Carlo, and Yu Lin replied almost in unison.
Their voices were filled with absolute confidence.
This was the pride of elite Martial Artists, a tacit understanding forged through countless life-and-death battles.
They didn’t need complicated orders. A single glance, a single motion, was enough to grasp each other’s tactical intentions.
The moment the words fell, the four of them moved.
There were no more words.
Qin Feng took the center, like the point of a sharp blade.
Linzhou and Carlo flanked him on the left and right, forming a support position.
Yu Lin brought up the rear, his domineering Long Saber the team’s most solid shield.
A simple and effective diamond assault Battle Array formed in an instant.
The four Steel Demon Gods strode forward with heavy steps, launching a silent and resolute charge toward the distant Green-skinned Tribe, a settlement made of scrap metal, giant fungi, and defiled totems.
The moment they stepped into the tribe’s outer perimeter, piercing roars and strange horn calls erupted from all directions.
The War had begun. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
The prelude to the Battle was initiated by the lowest-level Green-skinned kids.
They swarmed out like a green tide from "buildings" made of trash heaps, wrecked war vehicles, and massive fungi.
Most of them were bare-chested, their dark green skin covered in crude red and white graffiti. They brandished primitive, giant-toothed choppas and absurdly designed "dakka guns" that looked like they could explode at any moment.
"WAAAGH!!!"
It was a war cry that defied description. It wasn’t just a sound but a psychic assault—a pure Will that fused the desire for slaughter, War, and destruction into one.
For the Greenskins, battle wasn’t for survival or honor. Much like eating, breathing, or reproducing for humans, it was the most fundamental and joyous desire of their existence.
