Guide to tamming vilanesses
Chapter 148: Go for the kill
After being forced to wait for twenty minutes, Shin was finally allowed to participate in the test. However, when he entered the room, he saw that Alan was already there. As usual, he was surrounded by women, all of them stunningly beautiful.
Alan’s system aided him in seducing others, but beyond that, he possessed a natural talent for charming any heart he desired. This made him extremely dangerous.
He had a biological magnetism that pulled women toward him like moths to a flame. It was no coincidence that every participant in the room, besides Shin, was female, and every single one was gorgeous.
It was a waste, but there was no chance of Shin approaching any of them. Once that womanizer seduced a girl, it was impossible for her to stop loving him unless she possessed a crazy personality or a will of iron.
His system worked by amplifying existing feelings, turning them into an unstoppable obsession.
I wanted at least a few allies... Shin thought, scanning the area with a weary gaze.
It was obvious the women were looking at him with hostility. Having fallen for Alan, they viewed any other man as an enemy. Their minds were focused solely on expanding their master’s harem.
’You don’t need to worry. You’ve grown strong thanks to your leveling. I’m sure you can kill that thing alone,’ Lilel said in his mind, sounding proud and confident.
She was probably right. With that thought, Shin abandoned his plan to find allies and began restructuring his strategy.
Alan was a systemic risk; he had to be dealt with. Even "tamed" women could be swayed if Alan found a crack in their hearts. Just as Etozawa had used hypnosis on Tomoko, if a girl in Shin’s harem were to become vulnerable or mentally weak, Alan would exploit it.
It would be impossible with Eva, who had the highest mental resistance among the side characters, but Shin wasn’t confident in Kaho’s mental defenses.
Besides that, Alan was very close to Lilith in the original game. In fact, the Witch was likely in love with him.
However, with the way things were going, Shin had already decided to capture her attention and favor for himself. Killing her ’favorite boy’ was the best way to claim that psycho’s heart.
Shin was resolved: he would eliminate the problem called Alan by the root, killing him once and for all.
The question was how.
As strong as he was, Shin had doubts about whether he could defeat the female examiner yet, especially since she too was likely under Alan’s spell.
Besides, attacking him in this room was suicide, he would just explode. The second phase also prohibited combat between participants. He could try killing Alan in the third phase; however, the Dark Forest made finding a specific person nearly impossible.
If he completed the second phase at the same time as Alan and entered the portal with him, he would go to the same place, but the blond man wouldn’t allow it. Besides, engaging in combat with Alan and all of his harem in the third phase could be a problem.
"You know exactly what you’ve got to do," Lilel’s voice echoed in his mind again. "Attack the Statue King, and he will be killed amidst the chaos."
Shin knew his fairy would suggest that, but this idea was complete madness.
[Congratulations on completing the first stage.]
The system notification flickered before Shin’s eyes, and he smiled. It was insane, but it was the only path to victory. He couldn’t chicken out. As the scenery shifted, his eyes immediately locked onto the Statue King.
The King was a five-meter-tall abomination of obsidian, seated upon a throne that looked as if it were fashioned from petrified bone.
A crown of jagged black stone sat upon its head, and its eyes were hollow pits radiating an aura of overwhelming pressure, enough to bring any ordinary initiate to their knees.
Shin didn’t hesitate. While the other participants were still processing the system’s rules and trying to understand where they were, Shin advanced.
He jumped toward the Statue King, then punched its face with all of his power. Shin’s fist connected.
The impact echoed like a dull bell through the chamber, a deep, unnatural sound that seemed to vibrate inside the bones rather than through the air. Cracks spread across the Statue King’s obsidian face... Then the world stopped breathing.
A roar echoed throughout the room, making the ground tremble as the immense magical pressure of the Statue King surged over everyone.
The Statue King rose.
The throne behind it crumbled as the massive figure stood to its full height, towering, oppressive, and furious beyond comprehension.
At the same time, all the other statues began to scream with absolute rage.
"What are you doing, you idiot?!" Alan screamed, but his voice was drowned out by the thunder of the first impact.
The giant monster moved, striking the floor and completely destroying the room. Right after, all of its minions followed. From every possible angle, they attacked.
Shin was able to avoid the assault because he was ready, but many of the girls had to sacrifice their lives to keep Alan alive.
The womanizer himself was very weak in combat, so he could barely do anything. All he did was watch as his harem began to be massacred while trying to protect him.
"You crazy bastard, you’ll get all of us killed!" he roared at Shin. "This isn’t fair! He was the one who attacked, so why do we have to suffer too?" he screamed at the sky.
But nothing changed. In the second phase, the evaluator was the Statue King itself, so there was no one to hear Alan’s complaints.
However, Shin still needed to kill that annoying enemy if he wanted to get out alive. The worst part was that weaker enemies swarmed him from all sides. And even after defeating them, they would just rise again and again.
Shin’s eyes narrowed, his gaze locking onto the massive obsidian skull of the King. He didn’t have time to waste on the fodder.
In a burst of speed that left a literal crater where he had been standing, Shin vanished. To the girls and Alan, he was nothing more than a blur of golden-black energy cutting through the darkness.
The Statue King roared, swinging its colossal obsidian blade in a horizontal arc designed to level the entire room, but Shin was already gone. He didn’t just avoid the attack; he used the flat of the giant blade as a springboard.
He sprinted up the length of the King’s arm, his boots clacking against the stone with perfect precision.
The man smiled; he had played this boss battle so many times that he had its moves memorized completely.
The King’s aura tried to crush him, a suffocating, deep-sea weight of malice, but Shin’s Level 69 stats held firm. He was simply too strong for this floor’s "instakill" pressure to work.
He reached the shoulder and leaped, hovering for a fraction of a second above the King’s crown.
"Game over," Shin muttered.
He didn’t use a weapon. He clenched his fist, channeling all of his power into a single strike at a focused point.
He drove his punch straight into the King’s forehead. The obsidian didn’t just crack; it pulverized. His arm sank deep into the stone skull, reaching the core.
There lay a pulsing, violet gem, the King’s Nucleus. Shin grabbed it and crushed it in his palm like a piece of dry fruit.
The effect was instantaneous. The massive obsidian body stiffened, then began to disintegrate into shimmering dust.

A heavy, dark-purple blade materialized in Shin’s hand. He gripped the hilt, feeling the power surge through him.
Then he turned his gaze back toward Alan, expecting to see the man standing amidst the corpses of his failed harem. He saw the blood and the broken stone, but Alan wasn’t dead. He wasn’t even wounded.
Standing in front of the shaking womanizer was a figure that shouldn’t have been there. It was a Legendary Female Golem, Myha, a creature of myth that Shin had planned to seek out later.
She was breathtaking, a masterpiece of magical craftsmanship. Her skin was a polished, ivory-colored marble that looked as soft as silk but was harder than diamond.
She possessed an incredibly curvy, hourglass figure, with wide hips and a narrow waist that seemed almost too delicate for a war machine.
Glowing sapphire lines traced intricate patterns across her thighs and chest, pulsating with ancient mana. Her face was cold and statuesque, yet possessed a haunting, doll-like beauty.
"You’ve got to be kidding me," Shin cursed under his breath. Alan’s ’Womanizer System’ wasn’t just limited to humans; his luck was so annoying.
Alan scrambled to his feet, hiding behind the ivory curves of the Golem. "Kill him! Protect me and kill that freak!" he screamed, his voice high-pitched with terror.
The golem’s sapphire eyes locked onto Shin. She stepped forward, determined to protect her master.
"It’s such a waste," Shin muttered.
He wished he had claimed the golem and become her master, but there was nothing he could do anymore.
"Very well," Shin said, a predatory smile tugging at his lips. "Let’s have a fight. I was looking for a way to test this new toy anyway." He pointed his sword at Myha.
