Chapter 47: 47. Watching His Cute Wife Feed Their Baby.

"I like it." She said, and Austin smiled as he stared at his cute little Luna, who had the softest and chubbiest cheeks he had ever seen.

The three remained silent for a while, but Austin suddenly noticed the way Nora was staring at Luna.

From Nora’s expression, it seemed like she wanted to do or say something but couldn’t, and right now there was a hint of pink on her cheeks as she contemplated whether to tell Austin or not.

"What’s wrong?"

"U-um, it’s getting late, so I was thinking I should give Luna something to eat."

Hearing this, Austin’s eyes widened in surprise and he instantly handed the baby over to her. "Oh, sorry, you should have said something sooner."

Austin had woken up while the sun was setting, so he didn’t know that Nora had initially planned to feed their daughter just before he had arrived.

But now that they had spent time together, the sky outside was dark and filled with stars.

This meant that the cute little cub would have been even hungrier while he was cradling her.

But since Austin had looked so handsome with their baby in his arms, Nora couldn’t bring herself to ask him to hand Luna over.

Anyways, now that Austin understood what Nora wanted to do, he handed the baby back to her, and Nora paused as she wondered if Austin was really going to sit and watch as she brought out her chest for their baby to feed on.

This was the main reason why Nora had been reluctant to ask Austin to hand over the baby in the first place.

A part of her felt like Austin was going to sit and watch her feed Luna the moment she had the baby back in her arms, and she was right about it.

And why wouldn’t she be?

After all, she had known her husband longer than anyone else, so she knew he was the greatest pervert this kingdom had ever seen.

"A-are you really going to sit there and watch?" Nora asked bashfully, her cheeks now redder than ever before.

"Yep, my wife is about to give our baby some milk, there’s no way in the world I’m going to miss this. It’s a shame I missed your first time feeding Luna, but I’ll be happy to witness this one." Austin replied, and Nora’s ears twitched cutely.

"Hubby is being mean again. It’s embarrassing to feed her in front of you."

"It’s alright, my love, just imagine I’m not here." Austin scooted closer as he suggested, but there was no way Nora was going to imagine that, especially since she could hear his heart beating while he sat close to her right now.

But since this was going to make her hubby happy, Nora knew she had to go through with it nonetheless.

Besides, he was her husband, so there would definitely be many more times he would see her feed Luna, which meant she shouldn’t be feeling so flustered about what she was about to do.

And so, Nora sighed softly before lifting her shirt to expose her chest and feed the baby.

Her cheeks stayed red throughout the whole experience, but Austin stopped teasing her before it went overboard.

He watched for a bit, then focused on other things like the room, so as to give Nora the space and freedom she needed to feed their cute little Luna.

Once done, Nora placed their cute little baby in the cradle next to their bed.

Then she perfectly snuggled herself next to her husband.

She held his arm and snuggled up against his chest, feeling the nostalgic warmth of his scent and embrace.

She had missed this feeling so much, and she was so happy he had finally woken up after what had felt like years.

Meanwhile, Austin didn’t say anything about how close Nora was to him right now. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

Instead, he simply patted her head softly with a smile, then noticed that Nora had grabbed hold of his bicep tightly as she fell asleep almost instantly.

It seemed she had been unable to get a good night’s sleep due to her worry over Austin lying unconscious in the bed for days.

However, now that she could see he was alive and well, a huge wave of relief washed over her, and even Nora didn’t know when she drifted off to sleep next to him.

Of course, Austin didn’t mind this, but he was genuinely surprised by something very important he hadn’t noticed until now.

First of all, his body looked a lot taller than it had been before, and his biceps looked a lot bigger as well.

But aside from those two things, Austin noticed how much mana was flowing within him, and this really piqued his interest, so he swiftly summoned his system screen to have a look at his status.

However, just before he could view his status screen, Austin finally noticed the blinking notification on his system.

It had been doing this since he had entered the room to meet his wife and daughter, but he hadn’t been interested in checking it then, so he had waved the screen away at the time.

Now, however, he was ready to see what the system wanted to show him.

And so, he summoned the system screen and a blue translucent screen hovered before him, revealing his rewards for all the missions he had completed.

’Yes.’ Austin replied, and a new talent card appeared in his hand.

Austin held the card and watched as it slowly dissolved into tiny particles, just as his first talent card had, and then a new screen appeared before him.
