He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact
Chapter 788. Arriving in the 7th continent
The news of Kailen Darkhaven’s rejection of the offer to join the royal faction spread throughout the Venzula Empire Academy, causing an uproar.
At the moment, the focus of the discussions was currently in his villa, seated in his living room. Currently, Kailen was going through the list of academy missions.
He came across a couple of them, but he skipped them. Some were above what his current level of strength could handle. Some missions also had a small amount of contribution points allocated to completing them.
He finally came across a mission that had the requirements he was looking for.
[ Mission Description: The Caravan Transport Agency is transporting Count Vonte Cristo of Solmaria City of the 7th continent to Veyrath City of the 7th continent a week from now.
It is rumored that Count Vonte Cristo has discovered a place in the Veyrath City naturally abundant with principle fragments. Due to this, the guilds and organisations of Solmaria City have been trying to use forceful methods to get him to reveal the location, so that they can monopolise the location to create a principle fragment tower for their organizations.
Count Vonte Cristo sought the protection of the Caravan Transport Agency in Veyrath City. In addition to this, he also sought a permanent position in the agency.
In exchange for this, the Count will reveal the location of the place naturally abundant with principle Fragments to the Caravan Transport Agency.
Mission: Assist the Caravan Transport Agency in escorting Count Vonte Cristo to the headquarters of the Caravan Transport Agency in Veyrath City.
Mission requirements: Rank 3 novice stage Transcendent.
Risks: Extremely high (Potential death)
Reward: 5000 contribution points ]
"This will do," Kailen mused.
He melded with the void and disappeared from the academy.
***
Somewhere in the Venzula Empire Academy.
Royal Faction building.
In a lounge.
The crown prince was leisurely relaxing with several other high ranking members of the academic faction at the moment. Suddenly, a voice spoke from the void into his mind.
"Kailen Darkhaven has left the academy for a mission. Should we engage, your highness?"
The crown prince smiled. "Don’t engage. Leave him be."
"At your wish."
The crown prince’s eyes flashed with a cold glint.
As he had decided, he would not send any assassins after Kailen Darkhaven. He wanted to kill Kailen Darkhaven in the death arenas when Kailen Darkhaven got to the rank 5 novice stage Transcendent level in the most humiliating way possible.
He was not concerned about how the empress would take his decision. The mission required he was free to execute it with methods that suited him after all.
"Your highness, is everything alright?" a lady clinging to his hand said coquettishly.
"Everything is fine, let’s continue with our drinks."
"Alright, cheers."
"Cheers."
The group continued to chill in the lounge, oblivious to the decision of the crown prince, and to the fact that in the future, the decision the crown prince had made would cause a turmoil never seen in the Venzula Empire before.

The air was humid and snowy, and sunlight sneaked through the skies, illuminating everywhere.
An airship was currently floating outside the borders of the fifteenth continent. The exterior of the airship was covered in snowflakes. Occasionally, the airship would be covered in an ethereal hue. Then, it would disappear and reappear several long distances away from its previous location.
Kailen was seated in this airship. He was currently headed towards the 7th continent for the mission he had selected.
" It seems the crown prince didn’t send any assassins after me. He most likely plans on letting me get to his level first so that he eliminates me in the most humiliating way possible huh.
His pride is his greatest weakness. Just a few words have baited him to act according to how I expected him to act. That’s good. This will give me enough time to grow stronger" 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
A glint flashed through Kailen’s eyes.

A week passed in a flash.
Eventually, Kailen appeared in the skies of the 7th continent. It was night time. Occasionally, several airships would glide past him.
He saw a city on the horizon. Very soon he arrived above the city.
This was Solmaria City. He would be meeting the Caravan Transport Institute here to assist them in transporting Count Vonte Christo to their HQ in Veyrath City.
Kailen looked below. Several skyscrapers peered through the skies. Billboards. Neon lights. Lively chatter. Individuals of different races floating or walking across various routes, headed towards different destinations.
He even saw a billboard playing his fight on the sea, in the NGU national competition.
Kailen put the airship in his secret realm and disappeared from the skies.

7th continent.
Solmaria City.
Cristo District.
Waller Street.
Outside Count Vonte Cristo’s mansion.
Several individuals were gathered outside the mansion. All of them were very powerful rank 3 novice stage Transcendents.
One of them stood out the most. He was muscular and extremely tall. He was from the Titan race and was very overbearing. He radiated a very intimidating air about him. It was clear that among rank 3 novice stage Transcendents, he was very powerful.
"Sir, what are we waiting for?" A man with blue hair and eyes, dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, spoke anxiously to the Titan.
"Count Cristo," the Titan replied, "we want to ensure that you are absolutely safe. So, we requested the help of the academy by posting a mission on their board. We’ve received a notice that the one to assist us to transport you to HQ is on his way here. This is why we are waiting for him to arrive. If by midnight, he’s not here, we will assume something happened to him during his travel and leave."
Count Cristo nodded. "Alright."
He felt more confident that a genius of the academy would be here to assist these Caravan Transport Agency people to protect him along the journey. The number of attempted assassinations he had suffered recently was innumerable. Fortunately for him as a transcendant, he had his own methods of surviving, so he had held his ground.
However, when those fuckers of the organisations in Solmaria City, and even the counts of the other districts decided to resort to open methods to force him to spill the beans, he had no choice but to accept the offer of the Caravan Transport Agency. They were the only ones who could protect him.
Also, Solmaria City was no longer safe for him. Moving to Veyrath City, having a position in the Caravan Transport Agency and their protection and backing, was the best course of action for him.
"He’s here." The words of the Titan snapped Cristo out of his thoughts as he stared at the person approaching them.
This person was naturally Kailen.
