Ares had just finished carefully bathing Lu Xiao when he heard a knock on the door.

She was so exhausted she had fallen asleep.

Ares casually threw on a bathrobe, stepped out of the room, and opened the door to find the recovered Longba and his friend standing outside.

Startled to see Ares emerge, the two men froze for a moment before quickly speaking. "Your Excellency Ares, hello. We came to thank Her Excellency Lu Xiao for treating me. I’ve completely recovered now."

Ares wasn’t surprised by the purpose of their visit. "It’s not a convenient time. She just fell asleep. I’ll pass on your gratitude to her. Alternatively, you can come back tomorrow morning."

Hearing this, the two men immediately said, "Of course, of course. Thank you, Your Excellency Ares. We won’t disturb you any longer. Please let Her Excellency Lu Xiao get some rest."

Without another word, the two of them departed in a hurry.

After watching them leave, Ares turned, went back inside, closed the door, then got into bed, wrapped his arms around her, and fell asleep.

When Lu Xiao woke up again, it was the next morning.

Ares told her about Longba and his friend coming by to express their gratitude while she was asleep.

Ares nodded and walked over to embrace her. "Xiao Xiao, you look beautiful in everything. I want to hide you away... what should I do?"

Lu Xiao stood up and moved to his side, and Ares very naturally took a photo of the two of them.

"I know. I heard everything. You’re right. Only by getting better myself can I give my son a good life. I won’t let myself get stuck in those dark thoughts again."

"Good. That’s for the best. Go home and live well. Things will get better." After encouraging him, Lu Xiao smiled and returned to the room with Ares.

Watching them leave, Longba said, "Her Excellency Lu Xiao is just as gentle and kind as the rumors say."

"I think she’s even better than the rumors."

"Yeah. She’s different from any of the females we know."

Lu Xiao was unaware of the praise from Longba and his friend. For her, the matter was already in the past.

Back in the room, Ares packed their things in preparation for disembarking.

Meanwhile, Lu Xiao contacted the hotel and sent them their disembarkation time so a car would be waiting to take them to the hotel when they exited the spaceport.

Viewed from above, Flower Sea Star truly looked like a ball of flowers.
