Heavenly Harem: Raising My Disciple With Infinite Dual Cultivation
Chapter 82: | Second Closed-Door Cultivation
"I’ll protect this sect," Cao Ying said, and the words she delivered were enough to make Lin Tian feel relieved.
Yun Yun stopped cultivating and stood, holding the technique scroll Lin Tian had given her right before he entered closed cultivation.
She didn’t know how long it would take him to cultivate and break through. However, Yun Yun had once heard that breaking through to a higher stage would take a lot of time, energy, and spiritual qi.
Perfect Nascent Soul was the peak of the Nascent Soul stage, the strongest among cultivators without dao conception.
Lin Tian would need far more time, energy, thought, and spiritual qi to break through to Perfect Nascent Soul than when he broke through to Mid Nascent Soul.
Yun Yun stepped forward and stood right beside Cao Ying. Her gaze shifted to the side. "How long will it take him to break through?"
"I saw the qi aura in his body. I’m sure the duration of his closed cultivation will be short," Cao Ying replied, glancing at Yun Yun.
"As long as Lin Tian focuses on cultivating, I’ll be responsible for protecting the sect. You don’t need to worry," Cao Ying replied.
The restriction planted in Cao Ying’s primordial soul made it difficult for her to rebel.
She was worried that if she forced herself to rebel, the restriction would activate and destroy her primordial soul. That would be very dangerous and life-threatening.
Only 100 years. Cao Ying would only obey and follow Lin Tian for 100 years. After that, she would kill that man with her own hands.
While watching Yun Yun, the woman became interested in the technique scroll in her hand. Yun Yun turned to her and explained what scroll she was holding.
"Artifact Refining Technique?"
"Yes. Master Lin asked me to focus on that field," Yun Yun replied.
"That’s good. There aren’t many Artifact Masters in the Qin Kingdom," Cao Ying revealed, becoming even more interested because she had once been part of the Fenhai Sect’s artifact hall.
"In the past, I was once the Master of the Fenhai Sect’s Artifact Hall. Do you want me to teach you?" Cao Ying asked.
A wide smile spread across Yun Yun’s face, followed by a nod. Lin Tian did have broad insight into the cultivation world, but so did Cao Ying, especially since the woman’s cultivation base had reached Soul Formation.
Learning a lot from Cao Ying would clearly benefit Yun Yun in her development and understanding of the core of that technique.
"Of course. I’d be happy to learn from you, Master Cao."
"Master Ying. You can call me that."
"Alright."
Elsewhere, Lin Tian arrived in the sect’s backyard. There, he still saw An Yue cultivating without stopping. An Xiao and Wu Yue stood and greeted Lin Tian.
"I’ll begin closed cultivation starting today," Lin Tian said, tapping his bag of holding and handing a money pouch containing 1,000 spirit stones to An Xiao. "I’m entrusting this to you for the sect’s needs. From now on, you’ll help An Yue run the sect when I can’t do it."
An Xiao accepted the pouch and nodded obediently. "An Yue and I will try to run your sect well. I promise, Master Lin."
Lin Tian’s attention shifted to Wu Yue. "I’ll leave them to you, Wu Yue."
"Don’t worry. Their cultivation bases will reach Foundation Establishment before you come out of closed cultivation."
Lin Tian felt relieved after handing the responsibility to them, the people he trusted. Now, there was no burden left in Lin Tian’s mind.
His thoughts were focused on entering closed cultivation, and his heart had also calmed, free from unease or worry.
The man nodded and turned his body, entering the sect’s main building in a flash of white qi light.
After arriving inside the building, Lin Tian immediately sat cross-legged on the hall altar.
Both of his hands formed seals and directed them toward the sky. A medium-sized white qi laser shot through the roof of the building.
Yun Yun and Cao Ying looked toward the sect’s main building, precisely at the white qi laser. The other disciples saw the same thing. An Xiao and Wu Yue weren’t left behind either. They continued watching the moment when a rune formation dome wrapped around the building, with Lin Tian inside it.
"I hope you succeed, Master Lin," An Xiao said.
The dome formation was successfully formed. Lin Tian tapped his bag of holding and took out the materials he needed, consisting of 1,500 mid-grade spirit stones, 500 high-grade spirit stones, and a tier four pill called the Yuan Soul Transformation Pill.
The spirit stones floated and circled around him, with Lin Tian as the center of the rotation. His hand opened the pill box and held a white pill with a powerful qi pulse, strong enough to shake the air around it.
With full confidence, he swallowed the pill and formed a cultivation seal. His body began glowing white, and the flow of spiritual qi poured into the sect’s main building.
There were two pathways of spiritual qi flow. The first pathway came from the spirit stones rotating around him. The second pathway came from the Natural Spiritual Veins.
Lin Tian was certain and full of confidence that he could break through to Perfect Nascent Soul soon. He couldn’t stay in closed cultivation for too long and leave the sect and his disciples just like that.
The other disciples saw what Lin Tian was doing. Many of them already knew the sign of the formation surrounding the sect’s main building, because they had seen it once before.
Not long after, they returned to training and cultivating with Yun Yun guiding them. Cao Ying flew to the stone hill, precisely to her cultivation cave.
"What should I do with this money, Elder Wu?" An Xiao asked.
"You should discuss it with Chef Su Hua, considering there are still many sect disciples at the Qi Condensation stage."
"After you know how much they need every month, you can allocate that money to buy supplies or techniques," Wu Yue replied.
Wu Yue turned back, looking at An Yue, Ya Fei, and Luo Mei, who were focusing on cultivating. An Xiao did the same as Wu Yue.
"Lin Tian is stubborn! He assigned his five disciples to different fields," Wu Yue replied.
"But that helps us a lot, because we can buy the techniques they need according to the fields they’re pursuing," Wu Yue explained, crossing both of her arms.
"Elder Wu is full of deep understanding. I’ll just follow your arrangement," An Xiao replied.
"We have to discuss it. I don’t want to be selfish and make decisions according to my own wishes."
Wu Yue smiled and gently patted An Xiao’s shoulder. "After all, I’m part of your sect now."
"I’ll help you as much as I can."
