Help! I Think We Summoned A Demon King
Chapter 84: What A Thrill!
The rest of the day flowed by quickly.
Though Florielle seems to be trying out new acts with Zorat.
She would clean seductively, with her ass up in the air, almost in Zorat’s face.
She would ’accidentally’ trip on absolutely nothing and fall right into Zorat’s arms.
She would make sure there was always physical contact between herself and Zorat whenever she passed by with a basket or put things in place.
She does all this while Zorat was busy trying to meditate and get those new divine skills under control, causing the needed duration to be extended to at least an extra couple of minutes because of Florielle’s ’seductive’ distractions.
Now, even the way she spoke seemed forced to become more sultry. It felt as if she was operating with some playbook, and Zorat wondered where she was learning all this.
Since Zorat noticed all these very obvious and comically awkward attempts at seduction, so too did the very observant Myrra.
A very common trait among assassins is their observant natures.
While Zorat thought her advances amusing, Myrra was now under the assumption that her lord must have done the same thing he did with the previous lady with Florielle as well..... She concluded she was falling way behind.
It seems she, too, needed to be just as bold with her advances, just like Florielle.
So, Myrra began composing her own playbook in her mind from her own experiences and all that she had heard pertaining to man and woman relationships.
Zorat, still in the dark concerning the impure thoughts of these two ladies, simply dived back into meditation after every one of Florielle’s distractions.
He loved power just as much as he loved pleasure, since only with enough power can one freely enjoy the pleasures of life.
It was several hours later before Zorat was able to successfully unravel both divine skills into their runic forms. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Now sitting cross-legged and satisfied on his wooden cabin floors, he decides to do one of his infrequent checks on his status as the information spiralled into view to his subconscious mind...

Very Nice. hehehe.
Zorat grinned as he looked at this numerical improvement. He had missed the days when he experienced actual growth and improvements as a mortal.
He had shot up an extra level sometime after the assassination attempt, compounded by the stat boost from Kaelara’s essence nectar; it was rapid growth.
Zorat can now use his runic skills a bit longer since he was getting stronger. And with these new additions to his available skills, he had way more than he needed prepared for the day ahead.
It didn’t take long for Florielle to come and inform Zorat that the king’s address would soon commence.
She delivered a formal outfit suitable for the royal court, comprising a tailored dark tunic of fine wool with subtle silver embroidery at the edges, worn over fitted pants, a leather belt, and polished leather boots.
To complement the look, a formal-looking cloak was provided, which Zorat clasped across his shoulders.
But that wasn’t all; there was also a new addition to the ensemble; a signet bronze ring was provided as well, bearing the pattern of a box opening up.
It seemed to denote his rank as the hero of item box. It looked old but not worn out, probably hadn’t been worn much since there haven’t been that many heroes of item box. Zorat wore it on his left index finger.
Myrra had to stay back since her position had not really been made official or even her origins traced, and also, not everyone can enter the throneroom.
Of course, she wasn’t happy about this and was sulking as Florielle gleefully led Zorat through the same part they had taken previously.
Zorat’s favorite sibling guards were surprisingly on duty at the palace entrance this time, and weren’t reserved in their condescension like always.
As soon as they finally opened the doors, and as Zorat went in, not letting the large double doors close behind him fully, both guards turned to Florielle and began verbally abusing her as she waited in the corner like all the other maidservants, who also joined in the ridicule.
Zorat took note of Florielle’s expression before the large doors slammed shut behind him... and he did not like what he saw; it wasn’t pleasurable at all.
Florielle seemed scared, repressed, and looked like she was completely used to this. Like a turtle retreating into its shell, all her lively nature doused as soon as Zorat wasn’t there.
Hmmm....
How about I give the bunny a gift ?. Hehehe. Zorat grinned.
He turned to the luxurious ahead of him, where several court ministers were in conversations with themselves and with other present heroes.
The grand throne was still empty, but the princess was already standing to the left side of the throne, while the grand vizier was standing to the right.
While the others present failed to notice Zorat’s arrival, a few did.
Erica was now walking towards Zorat like a woman on a mission, looking unusually nervous, leaving Ariana and Julia who she was in conversation, wondering what she wanted to talk to Zorat about.
Her formal ensemble was a vision of opulence: a bright orange gown with golden embroidery running through it. The dress was sewn to perfection, fitting and highlighting all her curves, with a slit straight down her mid thigh, revealing her caramel-coated, flawless leg in classic seductiveness.
Ava was also looking in Zorat’s direction, and seemed unsure of what exactly to do, also wearing an expectant look on her face for some reason.
She also looked remarkably gorgeous in her outfit.
Zorat noted as well that they both had golden signet rings on their fingers, as do all the other heroes, meaning only Zorat’s ring was bronze.
These two ladies were exuding various complex emotions directed at Zorat, but there were five others also sending powerful emotions in Zorat’s direction.
The first two directly in front of him on the raised dias: the kingdom’s princess, whom Zorat also had plans for, and of course, the grand vizier.
From the princess, Zorat read on her face a complex mix of emotions, no doubt about how Zorat had managed to turn her best friend to their faction....
Essentially pitting her against her own father, and even going as far as providing all those damming evidence.
Zorat could see she still didn’t trust him, but her feelings were generally positive.
As for the lavishly dressed man, who looked very much emaciated from the last time Zorat had seen him, almost like he hadn’t been eating at all.
Victor Malverin had a warm smile on his face with his right hand gently stroking his single moustache and the other behind his back as he looked down from the raised dias directly at Zorat, who had just made his appearance.
While Victor appeared smiling.... Zorat could instantly tell from the murderous bloodlust aimed at him that it was taking all the restraint Victor could muster to keep from descending and ripping Zorat to shreds.
Hehehe.... What a thrill!.
