We must find the entrance.

Sun Jing closed her eyes, clasped her hands, and once again, little green lights appeared around her. Her superpower, Energy Resonance, could track energy remnants in the area, identify anomalies, predict danger, or lock onto a target.

She was the guide in the team, responsible for detecting dangerous areas and safe routes. In this regard, everyone in the team followed her instructions, including Yue Lin.

Suddenly, she sensed something and opened her eyes in surprise, "Ah Lin, I think I found the entrance!"

Yue Lin asked in a deep voice, "Are you sure?"

Sun Jing nodded, "I sensed an energy fluctuation nearby, completely different from the aura in the restricted zone. It doesn’t seem like something left by a Mutant Species, but rather something artificially set. If I’m not mistaken, that should be the entrance to the Abyss, and that energy is the seal of the entrance."

Someone in the team said excitedly, "Great! Once we break the seal, we can get to the bottom of the Abyss and see what that monster really looks like!"

But someone else was anxious, "But the entrance is right at the edge of the Abyss, it must be very dangerous nearby..."

"Ah Lin, what should we do now? How about... you take someone to scout first?" Sun Jing also showed a frightened expression. After all, she was just an Eighth Rank superpower female, and if they encountered a danger even Yue Lin couldn’t handle, death was certain.

Yue Lin pondered for a moment, glanced at Shen Tang, and nodded in agreement, "Alright, I’ll go check it out first. You all stay here and wait, I’ll be back soon."

So, Yue Lin took a Beastman with speed-type superpower and left first, while the others stayed and guarded the place.

There were still many experts in the team, as long as they didn’t encounter an Overlord Level Mutant Species, nothing would usually happen.

As soon as Yue Lin left, the fearful and anxious look on Sun Jing’s face disappeared instantly. She turned her head to look at Shen Tang not far away, her eyes turned cold, and a faint smile curved at the corner of her mouth as she signaled to a few of her subordinates.

The few got the hint and subtly surrounded Shen Tang.

Shen Tang was standing at the edge of the cliff, focused on looking down, seemingly lost in thought. They approached silently, as if trying to trap her at the edge of the cliff.

Since arriving at the Death Abyss, Shen Tang had become unusually quiet. She showed no sign of fear, standing alone at the edge of the cliff, so close to the Abyss, as if she would step off and fall at any moment.

The cold wind blowing from the Abyss tore at her long hair and the corners of her clothes, making a rustling sound.

The closer she got, the more clearly Shen Tang felt the energy fluctuation coming from the Abyss. The familiarity grew stronger, and her heartbeat quickened, almost pounding out of her chest.

She even... felt an urge to leap off.

What was hidden inside this thing?

Why did it make her feel this way?

Just as Shen Tang was unable to resist taking a step forward, she suddenly sensed movement behind her. She retracted her thoughts and turned to look at the few Beastmen closing in, with ill intentions.

Especially Sun Jing in the lead, looking at her with undisguised hostility.

Shen Tang replied calmly, "You’re overthinking this, I have no such intention."

"Still being stubborn?" Sun Jing said coldly, "I’m giving you two choices now, either leave immediately and stay far away, never let me see you again."

She glanced at the bottomless cliff and sneered, "Or... don’t blame me for being rude!"

Shen Tang’s face turned pale instantly, feigning a frightened look, like a little white flower trembling in the wind.

Pretending naturally required playing the entire act. Shen Tang had already reached the Death Abyss with Yue Lin’s help, and there was no need to follow them anymore; she just needed a reasonable excuse to get away.

She had long noticed Sun Jing’s hostility towards her, perhaps... she could use Sun Jing’s hands to escape.

And Sun Jing actually wanted to get rid of her here. Shen Tang had already used her spiritual power to scout the area. The direction Sun Jing pointed Yue Lin to, there was no entrance at all; it was just a ruse to send him away so she could act.
