Her Food Livestream Broke the Galaxy
Chapter 523 - 542: Borrowing Courage from Strangers
Mo Si couldn’t understand why all the movies nowadays were tragedies.
It was already one in the morning.
He had rushed through two movies. In the first, a protagonist called the Love Magician was a romantic swindler who got beaten to a pulp and then dumped. The second protagonist followed in the first’s footsteps: his hidden identity was exposed, and the female lead declared, "If even your identity is fake, your love must be fake too! I won’t listen, I won’t listen, I won’t listen! Let’s break up." And so, protagonist number two was also done for.
Mo Si decided that watching movies wasn’t a reliable method after all. The things they made up were just too dramatic.
After a moment of thought, he searched the Star Network for topics about relationships. Soon, a specialized community for love and relationships caught his eye.
’A community?’
After he started following Jiang Qiuqiu’s livestreams, Mo Si had gradually begun to encounter some of the newer things on the internet, so he clicked on it to take a look.
This community had a large number of followers. Clicking inside, he saw that all the posts were about getting advice on love and relationships.
People were asking all sorts of questions, and the number of active users seemed high. Questions were answered quickly. Most importantly, in many of the longer threads, the original posters would come back to thank the people who gave suggestions, saying that their love lives became much smoother after taking someone’s advice.
’Smoother—’
And "smoother" was exactly what Mo Si wanted right now.
So, he decided to post a question here as well.
Real people would answer. They could accurately analyze the information he provided, and it wouldn’t be like those situations in the movies.
And so, the meticulous Little Panda leaned back against his mattress, propped his head on his hand, and carefully began adding all sorts of details to his post.
[Thread Title: I unintentionally deceived my girlfriend. How do I tell her everything without making her angry?]
Mo Si chose to post anonymously.
[I’m 39 years old, a graduate of the Federation Military University, and currently serving in the army. For some specific reasons, I met my girlfriend while I was using a virtual mask.]
[Because of my special status, and because I never thought we would end up together, my original plan was just to tell her my real information when the time was right. But now we’re together.]
[I have to tell her my real information now, but I think she might get angry if I just tell her directly. So, I want to ask everyone, how should I tell her about this so that she won’t be angry?]
After he finished writing the main post, Mo Si waited for replies, mulling things over.
’Two heads are better than one,’ he thought. ’Outsiders often see things more clearly, so maybe they’ll provide more useful answers?’
Not long after he posted the question, replies started flooding in.
[Just read your post. I don’t think this is a big deal. The big deal is—]
[OP, question: what did you look like with the virtual mask on? How old were you, and what was your status?]
—Around 25-26 years old. Also a graduate of the Federation Military University, working in the army.
[From the sound of it, OP has nothing to worry about. Just tell her! You didn’t deceive her on purpose. And from the way you’re talking, it seems like you just made the relationship official. If you come clean right after getting together, the girl will probably understand!]
[The user above forgot to ask the most important question. OP, is your real face as handsome as your virtual mask’s face?]
—Roughly the same, about sixty percent similar. The virtual mask is just a slightly altered version of how I looked when I was younger.
[In that case, based on all of the above, you can totally just tell her directly. There won’t be any problem. The girl will most likely forgive you.]
[Yeah, and this all sounds like a romantic encounter anyway.]
