Chapter 182: Super Duper Secret Mission!

“To my liking?”

Koya asked the question with genuine confusion, trying to understand what Kaede was getting at with this sudden vulnerability.

Disguise Master or rather, Kaede, as she’d just revealed her real name was nodded earnestly while continuing her explanation.

“From what I could observe during my time as your maid,” she said, “you seem to fancy women with big breasts. Like my older sister and Misora. However, I don’t have breasts as big as theirs, so I was wondering if you liked me like that…”

Koya’s eyes twitched. He wasn’t used to her acting like this. Had loosening the disguise made her drunk or something?

“Uh… Kaede,” Koya said.

She lifted her eyes to meet him. “Yes, Master?”

“What’s happening?” Koya asked.

“I wanted to be close to you and I hoped that you didn’t mind,” Kaede said.

Koya sighed. “Why are you suddenly so clingy?”

“Master, I have realized that life is fleeting…”

“Fleeting?” Koya asked.

“Yes, Master. Life is very fleeting. You can never know when you could suddenly die. Just think about it, Master… you finished Mid-terms today and suddenly you were split in half by that crazy woman. I hope I killed her for what she did to you.”

“Kaed—” He was interrupted immediately.

“Hold on, Master. I’m not done.” Kaede brought both arms back and entwined her fingers shyly. “I’ve always been weak and powerless. I’ve never been able to use mana, which resulted in me becoming an Assassin even though my big sister said I didn’t have to. So… Master, if I may ask, why did you protect me today? I was going to die and you took the slash for me. Why?”

Koya sighed. To be honest, he didn’t really know why. The plan had been to use Frame Skip to push both of them down, but he ran out of mana mid-way and got slashed in half.

‘I’m still surprised Blessing can heal that much…’ Koya thought. If he could survive losing arms and legs and regenerate them, then being split like a Kit-Kat wasn’t too bad.

He turned to Kaede and sighed. “I did that because I didn’t want you to die. That’s it. If you died, what was I supposed to say to Hakai? She entrusted you to me, and I was coming to like you a lot.”

Kaede’s eyes brightened. She took Koya’s hand and pressed it against her chest.

“Master, I want to thank you for saving me. I promise from now till I die, I’ll be your loyal maid… the only one you’ll ever need.”

‘Doesn’t she mean wife?’ Koya thought, but if she wanted to be a maid for life, that could be arranged.

“And as your maid, Master, I will try to work my way up to being worthy of calling myself your wife. But until then…”

Kaede was wearing a long hospital gown. The black-haired woman raised it, showing her plump ass and thin black panties.

“M-Master, if you want to do it here to your maid right now, you can too.” Kaede squeezed her thighs together as liquid dripped down. “I’m really wet for you, Master.”

Koya sighed.

‘Both sisters are complete perverts,’ he thought.

If they were perverts, did that mean if he had children with them… would his son be running around stealing panties like some Hentai Protagonist? Or would his daughter be—

“Your request has been denied.”

A voice sounded from the ceiling. Both Koya and Kaede looked up to see Tej standing on the ceiling upside down, bat wings hanging menacingly.

Kaede’s body trembled as she prepared to summon Apophis again.

‘I’ll protect Master agai—’ Kaede thought, then spat out blood immediately. Koya gripped her shoulder as Tej landed on the ground.

“Did you think you could go around summoning that Divine General every time? You can’t waste your life force like that. You might die before your time.”

“Life force?” Koya asked, looking at Kaede.

Kaede pulled out a handkerchief and dabbed her mouth. “Master, you don’t need to worry about me.”

Tej’s wings spread. “Don’t worry, I’m not your enemy. In fact, you could call us sisters in a way.”

Kaede glared at her immediately.

Tej sighed. If this were the usual her, she would have killed this human woman already but two things stopped her: mainly Koya’s first wife, Hakai Hoshigaki. The woman was watching her every move with shadows everywhere, and Tej was afraid of her.

Who was this woman? Why was she so strong despite being younger? The second reason was that even if Kaede couldn’t summon Apophis again, according to her chant about Twelve Shinigami Castle, she had 11 other Shinigami.

Sure, they might not be as strong as Apophis, but there was a chance Tej could be outmatched.

“You don’t need to antagonize me. I regret that I split my mate in half, though I don’t regret trying to kill you.” Tej said. Just because she was being nice didn’t mean she’d lie… She didn’t like this woman. “Now if you excuse me, I’d like to borrow my mate.”

“You keep saying ‘mate’ over and over again,” Kaede said, her voice flat and emotionless as she stared at Tej. “Are you perhaps an animal by chance? Is that why you use such primitive terminology?”

Tej’s lips thinned into an angry line. She felt her blood magic crackling dangerously in her fingertips, barely restrained from lashing out violently.

“How dare you compare noble Vampires with common animals?” she hissed through clenched teeth but surprisingly, despite her obvious anger, Tej didn’t actually attack. She managed to control herself through sheer force of will.

“You may think whatever you want about my word choices,” Tej said after taking a calming breath. “While we Vampires do have a more primitive and direct way of expressing ourselves compared to humans, at least I can communicate my point clearly without unnecessary social games. However, if it bothers you so much, I suppose I can start speaking in more regular human terms from now on.”

Tej cleared her throat dramatically and adjusted her posture into something more formal.

“Please get off of my husband immediately,” she said in an exaggeratedly proper tone. “I am experiencing sexual arousal and I require him to impregnate me this instant so that I may bear his children. Is this manner of speaking more acceptable to you?”

Both Koya’s and Kaede’s eyes twitched at the blunt delivery.

“What?” Tej asked innocently. “I’m speaking like a regular human now, aren’t I? That’s what you wanted.”

But Kaede was surprised for an entirely different reason than the crude phrasing.

“Master, you took this woman who nearly killed you and split you in half as your wife, but you haven’t taken me?” Kaede asked with obvious hurt in her voice.

“Well, you were the one who just said you wanted to be a maid fir—” Koya started to explain.

“Then I want to change my role in your life, Master!” Kaede interrupted firmly. “I want to be your Maid Wife. That’s my official position from now on.”

“Is that even a real thing?” both Koya and Tej said simultaneously with their voices overlapping.

“I want to make it a real thing,” Kaede declared with absolute determination.

“Alright, fine,” Koya said with a defeated sigh, too tired to argue about terminology anymore. Kaede immediately pumped both her fists in victory like a child winning a game.

Koya turned his attention to Tej and asked the question that had been bothering him.

“What exactly do you mean when you say you’re horny and want me to impregnate you? Can you explain that more clearly?”

Tej’s expression became deadly serious as her crimson eyes burned with intensity.

“My ultimate goal is to have as many children as physically possible, Mate,” she stated matter-of-factly. “You are now the Vampire King and I am the Vampire Queen. That means any children born from our union will be incredibly strong from birth, especially with the perfect amalgamation and fusion of both of our superior genetic bloodlines.”

She crossed her arms under her chest.

“I want to have at least thirty children. Minimum… That’s my baseline acceptable number.”

“Thirty?!” Koya’s voice cracked slightly.

“My father had approximately twelve children total, all of them successfully inheriting the Vampire God bloodline,” Tej explained as if this were perfectly logical. “So it’s only right and proper that I aim to have perhaps double or even triple that number to ensure our race’s continuation and genetic strength.”

She stepped closer to him.

“As long as you have sufficient semen to spare and your reproductive capability remains functional, I will continue getting impregnated as many times as necessary to reach my goal. Do you understand the duty required of you, mate?”

Koya raised both hands into the air in a gesture of overwhelmed surrender.

“Isn’t thirty children a bit too much?!” he protested weakly. “That’s insane…”

“I am trying to rebuild the entire Vampire race from near-extinction,” Tej said firmly. “Your job is not to worry about how many children there are or how difficult it will be. Your job is simply to impregnate me repeatedly. We’ll keep going until I’m satisfied. Do you understand your role, mate?”

Koya let out a long, defeated sigh.

He had to try to think about this situation from Tej’s perspective and understand where she was coming from. Just like Victoria, both of them were among the last surviving Vampires in existence after their race had been nearly wiped out.

They desperately needed to produce more of their kind to ensure their species didn’t go extinct forever.

If Koya could help accomplish that goal and save an entire race from disappearing, then he didn’t really mind doing his part.

“I understand,” Koya said with resignation. “I’ll help you rebuild your race.”

Tej nodded with a small, satisfied smile appearing on her beautiful face.

“I do hope you are already well-versed and experienced in the physical acts of sexual intercourse,” Tej said bluntly, “because I personally haven’t experienced it even once myself. I’m completely inexperienced.”

She made it clear that she didn’t particularly care whether Koya was a promiscuous manwhore or a virgin himself as his personal history didn’t matter to her.

What mattered were those superior genes flowing through his body and bloodline. The future vampires… her new race of Vampires would absolutely need his genetic contribution to be as strong as possible.

Tej suddenly reached up and began removing her dress, pulling it over her head in one smooth motion.

Underneath she wore only a matching pair of black panties and a bra that held her small chest easily.

“Very good. We will begin the deed right now,” she declared with finality. “Take out your penis immediately so we can start.”

But before anyone could say anything else or make any movements, there was a polite knock on the door.

“Master Koya?” came a maid’s voice from the hallway outside. “Lady Hakai is calling you over for dinner. Everyone is waiting at the table.”

Tej’s face immediately scrunched up with obvious frustration and disappointment.

“I’m on my way!” Koya called out quickly, grateful for the interruption and escape from this increasingly awkward situation.

Tej let out an annoyed huff, then her body suddenly transformed. She shifted into a small black bat in a puff of smoke and flapped her wings.

“We better do it tonight after dinner then,” the bat squeaked in Tej’s voice. “Don’t think you’re escaping your duties, mate.”

Then she flew out through a gap in the ceiling and disappeared, exiting the room entirely.

Koya looked over at Kaede and asked simply. “Do you want to come have dinner with everyone?”

“You’re a very bad Onii-chan.”

Reona’s accusatory statement came mid-way through dinner with her chopsticks pointed at Koya like a weapon as she pouted dramatically.

“You’re always appearing on television for tournaments and competitions, yet you don’t even make the time to call me personally. I have to find out what you’re doing by watching the news like a stranger.”

And she was absolutely right about that criticism. Koya really hadn’t spoken to his little sister properly in quite a while, having been too busy with Mid-terms preparation and various life-threatening situations.

Koya reached out across the table and ruffled Reona’s hair affectionately, messing it up.

“If you actually had a phone, then I would be in better conta—”

“I have two phones!” Reona interrupted triumphantly, pulling out two different smartphones from her pockets and holding them up with a bright smile. “So you better stay in good contact with me from now on, Onii-chan. No more excuses!”

Koya blinked in surprise. “Where did you get two phones from? I didn’t buy you any.”

“Aunt Hakai bought me one as a gift,” Reona explained happily, “and then Aunt Nami bought me another one too! So now I have double the phones!”

Koya looked over at Nami. The blonde-haired young woman who worked at KCAC and had been helping manage his career looked down at her plate with a small blush coloring her cheeks, clearly embarrassed about being called out.

Koya smiled warmly at her. It had been quite a while since they’d spent time together, but his Mid-terms were finally over now and he definitely still owed her that promised date from before. He should take her out somewhere nice soon.

‘Though I can sense that something is very different about her compared to before,’ Koya thought with curiosity as he observed Nami more carefully.

The ambient mana in the air around the dining room seemed to be flowing into her body naturally, being absorbed through her skin without any conscious effort on her part.

The phenomenon was almost identical to what happened with Awakened individuals but that should be impossible. Nami was well past the age when Awakening normally occurred and besides, where was her crest? Awakened people always developed visible crests on their faces to mark their advancement.

Koya looked around the dining table, mentally cataloging who was present.

Reona was here eating happily, Nami sat quietly to the side, Tej had joined them and was eating with surprising delicacy for someone who’d been so crude earlier and even Kaede had come upstairs and was seated at the table. Everyone was here…

But the much bigger and more concerning question was this: where the hell were Hakai and Mable?

His wife and daughter were conspicuously absent from the family dinner, which was highly unusual.

“I’ll give you my number later, sis,” Koya said to Reona. “I need to go call Hakai and Mable down from upstairs. They’re probably busy with something.”

He pushed his chair back from the table and stood up, then did a quick jog toward the stairs.

‘Is Mable perhaps busy doing something for that secret mission she mentioned?’ Koya thought as he climbed. ‘She’s talked about some mission when I came.’

Regardless of what they were doing, they needed to come eat before the food got cold. Koya reached Hakai’s bedroom door and opened it without knocking.

The room was completely dark inside, with all the lights turned off and the curtains drawn then suddenly, a bright spotlight shone down from the ceiling, illuminating a specific spot.

There stood Mable on top of the bed, her back turned dramatically toward the door but her appearance had changed drastically… her hair was now completely silver instead of its normal color, and when she glanced back at him, her eyes glowed crimson red like a vampire’s.

Then a second spotlight came down, revealing Hakai standing in a dramatic pose. She too had silver hair and crimson red eyes, matching Mable’s transformed appearance perfectly.

Koya just blinked at the theatrical display.

“What are you guys doing?” he asked flatly, completely confused by the dramatic presentation.

“PAPA!” Mable shouted excitedly, then immediately jumped off the bed directly at him.

Koya caught his daughter mid-air out of pure reflex, holding her securely.

Hakai turned around with a mysterious smile on her face, her silver hair catching the spotlight dramatically.

“Papa, tomorrow we’re going to do a super duper secret mission together!” Mable whispered loudly, completely failing at being quiet about the supposed secret.

She lifted her small hand to her lips. “Shhh! You shouldn’t say anything about it to anyone. It’s secret!”

“If I remember correctly, these are the same disguises we used when we all went to that amusement park together,” Koya said, recognizing the transformation magic at work. Though Hakai’s current appearance was significantly different from what she’d worn back then.

Hakai nodded with confirmation. “Yes, exactly. These disguises will be very important and necessary for your new mission tomorrow.”

“New mission?” Koya’s voice came out strained. “I almost died today during Mid-terms. Can’t I get at least a few days of rest first?”

“It’s unfortunately a bit urgent and time-sensitive,” Hakai said apologetically. “But you need to steal something important from the Isle City Mafia. And both Mable and I will be coming along with you for support, so you won’t be alone.”

Koya just blinked at her, processing that information. Were they seriously about to have a Mafia arc right after the school examination arc?

He looked down at Mable, who was still in his arms with her silver hair and crimson eyes gleaming excitedly in the spotlight.

She was practically vibrating with enthusiasm about this mission, whatever it entailed.

“What exactly do we need to steal from the Mafia?” Koya asked cautiously, already dreading the answer.

Hakai’s mysterious smile widened slightly. “That’s something I’ll explain in full detail tomorrow morning when we begin the operation. For now, just know that it’s extremely valuable to them and they won’t give it up easily. We’ll need to be smart, careful, and prepared for violence.”

“Of course there’ll be violence,” Koya muttered. “There’s always violence.”

“But with all three of us working together… and with these disguises to hide our true identities, we should be able to pull it off successfully,” Hakai continued with confidence. “The Isle City Mafia won’t know what hit them.”

Mable nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah! We’re gonna be super sneaky and cool, Papa! Like ninjas!”

“Ninjas?” Koya asked and Mable nodded then she looked up.

“Oh right, Papa… why are your eyes purple?”
