Chapter 755: Chapter 755 You are jealous of Miss J?

Leo nodded against her neck. His stubble scraped gently against her skin, a rough contrast to the softness of his lips. "But you never did this for me," he said again, his voice low, almost petulant. "You never made me a gift. You never coded something for me."

Bella laughed softly. "You are jealous of Miss J?"

"I am not jealous." His finger traced her waist, light as a whisper, over her shirt, over her hip, back and forth, back and forth. "I am simply observing, noticing, and commenting."

Bella squirmed. "Leo, stop. It tickles."

"No," he said simply, not stopping. His fingers continued their path.

He captured her ear in his mouth. His teeth grazed her skin, soft and teasing, a gentle bite that sent shivers down her spine. His tongue traced the curve of her ear, slow and wet, like he had all the time in the world.

Bella shivered despite herself, her fingers faltering on the keyboard.

She tried to focus on her laptop screen, on the lines of code she was writing for Miss J’s gift, on the careful encryption and the personalized interface she was designing but Leo’s mouth was on her ear, and his breath was warm, and his tongue was doing things that made her thoughts dissolve into static.

"Leo," she breathed, her voice unsteady. "I am trying to work."

"So am I." His voice was low and amused, vibrating against her skin. "I am working very hard. You are just not paying attention to the right thing."

He pulled back from her ear, and his hand started roaming again. Over her stomach, under her shirt, his fingers spreading warmth against her bare skin. His palm was rough and calloused, a stark contrast to the softness of her belly.

Bella’s hands hovered over the keyboard. She could not type. Could not think. Could not do anything except feel. His touch was everywhere, consuming her.

His thumb traced small circles on her belly, light and teasing, each circle slower than the last.

"Leo."

"Hmm?" His lips brushed her neck.

"Your hand."

"What about my hand, bunny?" His voice was innocent, but his hand was not.

"It is on my stomach."

"I know." He kissed her neck, soft and open mouthed, his tongue grazing her skin. "It is a very soft stomach. Unlike mine. Mine is hard. Yours is soft. I like touching it. I like feeling you breathe under my hand."

"Leo."

"Bella." His voice dropped lower as his fingers traced the edge of her bra, following the curve of the fabric. "I have been thinking about this all day. Every second. Every minute. I could not focus."

"You have meetings." Her voice was weak.

"I was thinking about you during my meetings." He kissed her neck again, lower this time, near her shoulder. "I was sitting there, listening to people talk about contracts and numbers and deadlines, and all I could think about was coming home to you."

"Leo—"

"Do you know how hard it is to focus on contracts when you are not in the room?" His hand slid higher, his fingers brushing the underside of her breast. "Do you know how hard it is to care about quarterly reports when all I want is to feel you?"

Bella’s breath hitched. "I am sure you managed."

Leo’s lips curved against her skin. "I barely managed. I signed three documents with the wrong date. I called one of my clients by the wrong name. Jay had to correct me twice."

Bella laughed softly. "Twice?"

"Twice." He pressed a kiss to her shoulder. "I kept thinking about coming home. Finding you. Having you exactly like this. In my arms. On my lap. Where you belong." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

His hand moved lower again, over her belly, down to the waistband of her jeans. His fingers teased the edge of the fabric, dipping beneath, then pulling back.

Bella’s breath caught. Her whole body tensed. "I need to finish this gift."

"It can wait." His voice was velvet, persuasive, and hypnotic.

"It cannot."

"It can." His fingers dipped beneath the waistband, his knuckles pressing against her skin. "Everything can wait when I have you like this. The whole world can wait. The whole universe can wait."

She grabbed his wrist. Her fingers wrapped around him, stopping his movement. "Leo. Stop. I am serious."

He paused. His hand stilled. His breath was warm against her neck.

"Look at me," he said.

She turned her head. Her eyes met his. His gray eyes were dark, burning, full of want and love.

"Five more minutes," she said, her voice soft but firm. "Then I am yours. Completely yours. All of me. Every inch."

He studied her face. His eyes searched hers, looking for hesitation, looking for doubt. He found none.

He nodded slowly. Then he pulled his hand back and placed it on her hip, still and patient.

"Five minutes," he said. "I am counting."

She turned back to her laptop, her fingers finding the keyboard again. The code blurred in front of her eyes. She blinked and forced herself to focus.

Leo’s arm stayed around her waist, his hand resting on her hip. He did not move, did not tease, and did not touch her anywhere else. He just held her, his thumb tracing slow, absent circles on her hip bone.

Bella typed. The code came together, line by line, block by block. It was a small program, nothing fancy, nothing complicated, just something to show Miss J that she cared. A digital phone wallpaper made of light and color that would change throughout the day like the sun moving across the sky. Morning light would show soft pinks and golds. Afternoon would bring deeper blues and purples. Evening would be warm oranges and reds, like a sunset captured in pixels.

She had been working on it for the whole day, tweaking, adjusting and perfecting.

Now it was almost done.

"Three minutes," Leo said.

Bella did not look up. "I know."

"Two minutes." His voice was quieter now.

"You are counting?"

"Every second." His lips brushed her shoulder. "Every heartbeat. Every breath you take."

She finished the last line of code, saved the file, and closed her laptop. The screen went dark. The room was quiet.

"Done," she said.

"Finally." He turned her face to his, his hand gentle on her chin. "Now you are mine."

"I was always yours, Leo. From the very first moment."

"Now you are paying attention," he said, his thumb brushing her lower lip. "Which matters more. Much more."

She smiled, her eyes soft. "I am paying attention. I am all yours. Every part of me."

He kissed her. His hands cupped her face, his thumbs brushed her cheeks, and his fingers threaded into her hair. His tongue slid against hers, tasting her, claiming her.

She melted into him, her fingers gripping his shirt, pulling him closer.

When he pulled back, her lips were swollen, her eyes were half closed, and her breath was ragged.
