"I don’t care. Just release it. This is the whole truth. I don’t want them targeting Sabrina. She is still my wife!" Dominique was firm in his decision.

He no longer cared if his company would get into trouble. His only goal was to clear Sabrina’s name amid the controversy.

"Stop. Just forget it! Just invite some reporters. Let’s do a press conference right now!"

Dominique wanted to settle this once and for all through a press conference. He thought it would help if he were the one to defend Sabrina, instead of just releasing a written statement.

The PR manager sprang into action immediately, contacting several media companies and individual reporters. He invited them to come into the conference room.

After an hour of setting up, the press conference finally started.

Dominique stepped into the middle of the conference room, facing all the cameras and the microphones.

"Everyone, I am here to set the record straight and clear the misunderstanding. I will correct the false claims spreading online," Dominique started, not beating around the bush.

"And the deal I was talking about is related to the Williams Company. I asked Sasha to help me acquire the company of my father-in-law! I was the one who stole the company from Williams!"

"Sabrina’s uncle and Sasha were my accomplices! I stole the company right after Sabrina’s father was diagnosed as terminally ill!"

"It was I who pushed Sabrina to her death! It was me all along. So if you want to curse someone, curse me. I caused her misery... to the point that she had to change her face and hide her identity."

Dominique gave the reporters one shock after another.

"I deliberately approached Sabrina with a goal in mind– Taking over her father’s company. I schemed against her family because I was too greedy."

"Mr. Smith, are you just telling this to protect Sabrina? Why are you ruining your own reputation?" the reporter questioned his motive.

"Yes, I want to protect her. But at the same time... this is the whole truth. I regret my actions. After she was gone, I realized I had fallen for her so deeply. I still love her... but I know that after what I did, I can never be with her. So now, we are in the process of finalizing our divorce. I’m finally letting her go. This is the least I can do for her..."
