Hogwarts: Bloodline Legend
Chapter 826 - 232: Wizard King! Flop!
The mornings at Hogwarts are usually very tranquil.
And for more than a thousand years, they have remained exceptionally clean, thanks to the diligent efforts of Hogwarts’ caretakers, who ensure that every corner is spick and span, ready for any inspection from the relevant departments.
The comfort of such an environment is undeniable. However, surprises often come out of nowhere, and today, the Ravenclaw dormitory area completely shattered this long-standing record.
Inside the dormitory where Ririm resides.
The ceiling suddenly cracked open, and immediately, a stream of yellow liquid poured down like a waterfall, filling the entire room with a pungent odor in an instant.
Fortunately, Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel reacted quickly, retreating from the dormitory and casting magic in time to isolate the flood-like liquid within the room.
If not for this.
The entire Ravenclaw common area, maybe even the whole of Hogwarts, would have suffered—as the sudden voice had said, a two-thousand-year accumulation is no small amount! Outside, avoiding the spraying evil water, Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel stood in the hallway, tensely observing the situation inside the room.
They only withdrew because they had a hunch something was wrong and instinctively used magic; however, even with all their experience, they were genuinely stunned by the scene before them.
"What’s going on?"
Nicolas Flamel exclaimed, eyes filled with shock.
"Uh..."
Dumbledore’s expression became indescribable, as he stared intently inside, trying to understand what happened, with his nose twitching as his expression grew stranger.
"Oh no! That smell!?"
Nicolas Flamel also began to realize what had happened.
Both found it hard to believe.
Merlin actually did this?
That’s too much! So inconsiderate! So disgusting!
"Ian..."
Nicolas Flamel looked into the dormitory with some sympathy.
The area outside was protected, but the whole dormitory suffered, instantly submerged, with beds and furniture teetering in the "flood." Ian himself was forced to soak in this yellow, slightly inflaming "vintage brew."
"Damn Merlin!"
Ian cursed loudly.
Given such a scene, Ririm’s identity was self-evident—after all, who else but Merlin would ambush him like this? The little wizard looked up following the sound of hearty laughter, only to see, above the hole in the ceiling, a child-like Merlin shaking off a few drops firmly.
The "sea water" flooding the room was actually all freshly poured by him!
"No wonder it’s still warm!" Ian was genuinely impressed by Merlin’s audacity; he could almost immediately see through the trick, realizing that Merlin, like Voldemort, had magically altered himself.
However.
Unlike Voldemort, who did magic transformation for power, Merlin chose to create a super bladder magically, which had little effect on his abilities! To avenge the psychological shadow Ian cast on him over a thousand years ago, he stored up over a millennium’s worth of waste liquid in his body!
What terrifying determination and execution! Moreover, it showed just how deeply Ian’s past magic had imprinted on Merlin’s psyche.
If not, why remember it for two thousand years and revenge now?
"With that determination, it’s no wonder you succeed at whatever you do." Ian floated in the "vintage brew," but there was not much anger on his face.
Only admiration.
"I’ve waited too long for this day," Merlin began to "shut the gates," as without stopping, the vintage brew filling the dormitory would soon reach the ceiling where he stood.
This is why it’s called a psychological shadow; not wanting even a drop of his own waste water to touch him, after all—he became a rather peculiar clean-freak after that event—it was Ian’s rain that left such a deep impression, a huge psychological shadow! 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
How to put it.
Perhaps only Ian could understand slightly, but not entirely, as only Merlin knew the extent of effort it took to rid his body of the infections and effects caused by that rain—the little wizard’s viruses were truly ferocious.
It was no exaggeration.
Even today, when Merlin recalls, he feels Ian was modest; those bizarre viruses were too sinister, making him suspect Ian had magically modified them!
If magic transformation exists for animals and humans, certainly there’s one for viruses and bacteria. Normally, no alchemist would research and modify such sinister things.
But considering the Raven! And Ian! Merlin felt his judgment was spot-on! To counter Ian, Merlin knew magic against magic wouldn’t succeed.
After all, Ian, that sinister thing, has magic immunity after transformation! Because of this, today’s action was the only way Merlin felt he could regain his pride.
"How does it feel? Disgusting, isn’t it?" Merlin looked at the floating Ian in the "Yellow River" with unprecedented satisfaction.
