"You’re right we should be fine but the problem is I’ve become obsessed with you," he said as he eyed me seductively.

My cheek turned from his words. "Mmhmm, I don’t what we’ll do about that. I guess you’ll just have to suffer," I teased whilst gently caress his face.

"You’re bit too cruel don’t you think," he said as he lowered his head, bringing his lips close, and I kissed him.

He was so passionate and gentle. His hands went to cupping my face I felt sucked in by his charms.

We were still taking our relationship slow, no pressure. No matter what happens we’ll be fine even if we end things. But I can’t say it’ll be easy if we decide to end it. I too had become attached to him as well.

I recalled how I felt when I ran from Keith to call Louis and heard his new assistants name. I realised just how hurt I would be if he did move on.

I had asked Louis about it and he explained his father had assigned her to him but that was it. I wasn’t sure how to feel but I did want to trust Louis the same way I wanted him to trust me.

Louis lips went down to my neck and I moaned.

I removed my sweater and joggers, remaining in my underwear.

After removing our clothes, he spent a lot of time kissing and worshiping my body.

We hadn’t slept together in such a long time. Since the day I was attacked by Kolton. It obviously didn’t feel right with funeral, the kids and the investigation.

Now as his finger felt like fire and down my body, I realised how much. Once I wet enough, he put on the condom and slipped inside me.

A loud moan escaped me and my hands went to grip his back.

"Louis wait!" I screamed out when he suddenly quickened his thrusting pace. My hands gripped him harder.

"I forget you like to bully me," I breathed out.

"Never," he whispered in my ear before biting it.

He continued with his onslaught. My mouth betrayed me as I continued to moan. He brought his lips to mine to cover them.

I felt the pressure between my legs build up and I felt like I was going crazy from pleasure.

"I’m coming," Louis breathed out in-between kisses.

We climaxed together. When we were done we lay on the bad looking up at the ceiling in exhaustion.

Over the course of the following week Henry and I would continue to discuss how my role in the Acland group and when I would start.

He had me sign several NDA’s about everything I should never speak about and the terms of this partnership. Which were the rights to the Acland group were technically Tony’s. I was only being assigned a care taker of everything until Tony was of age.

The only stake I could claim was the money I would be receiving for Keith’s death as his widow. I was also going to receive a handsome salary for the work I did with Henry.

If I got married that family I would have would be separate from the Acland group and estate.

Honestly nothing I hadn’t anticipated I would have to agree with.

To protect the company he insisted we return to the Acland estate which was done being renovated. He said it would be best considering it belonged to Tony now. At first I was against it.

In a way I felt odd. I had taken control of everything my dead husband whom I had may have killed. But Henry ended up convincing me. I agreed to it for my son’s sake. At the end of the day it was for Tony’s future after all.

I thought of how hard I fought for Tony to be recognised as Keith’s heir. Now here I was having achieved that goal. But things were different now.

I put up our apartment for sale and Marco, Tony and I returned to the Acland estate. The house that was tied to so many of our painful memories but also some positive.

Tony and Marco had their respective rooms from before now fully renovated. I didn’t return to the room I used to Keith’s main bedroom however. I

used another room to get away from Keith’s room. The servants also returned. It was like how it used to be expect without Keith or Louis’ presence. I could also feel relieved that they wouldn’t betray me as they had when Diana used to live here.

As I was in charge of the home they had to answer to me.

It was strange at first but I quickly came to terms with it.

Over the course of the next weeks I started working at the Acland HQ. I had to learn various difficult new skills and things about the company but I was determined to quickly learn.

It was unlike anything I could have prepared for nor what I imagined.

Tony and Marco returned to school after their holidays ended. I ended up transferring them from both the previous school they attended. To the school I had planned to transfer Tony to stop Keith from bothering him. With everything that had happened I wanted them to have a fresh start.

I figured the students from their old school who would look at them funny. Especially Marco who had a different hair and eye colour now.

Louis and I continued to date and deepen our relationship. Despite our busy schedules we would see each other on weekends. He also continued his position as his father’s aide and acting CEO of the Carrington HQ.

It was looking more and more like he was set to become the Chairman instead of his brother, Robert. I was so excited for him.

This was our life now. The four of us going forward. I wondered what future awaited us.
