"The King of Mu? You have a grudge against that old coot?" Chen Suifeng was taken aback for a moment, but then it clicked. "Oh, right. You’re the kid who raped and murdered his daughter."

He knew Su Ze was a clone, so naturally, he also knew some of the details surrounding the rape and murder of the King of Mu’s daughter, Princess Zhuzhi.

"That wasn’t me, it was Zhao Lingxiao!" Su Ze corrected. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

"Close enough," Chen Suifeng teased. "What, you’re not even going to spare her father? Planning to wipe them out, root and stem?"

Su Ze shook his head. "It’s not a matter of me sparing him; he’s the one who won’t spare me. You know the King of Mu acquired a Bloodline Crystal, don’t you?"

Chen Suifeng nodded. "But I heard he never absorbed it. So he shouldn’t have been possessed by an alien."

"Not necessarily. His actions are too bizarre, and many of them don’t make sense." Su Ze then recounted the strange things he had learned about the King of Mu.

This inevitably brought up the Bloodline Crystal Princess Zhuzhi had absorbed—the one containing the Divine Grace of Evolution skill. However, Su Ze didn’t explain the skill’s effects, only saying it was the crystal that had come from the King of Mu.

It took Chen Suifeng a while to make sense of the complicated situation.

"So, let me get this straight. The King of Mu obtained a Bloodline Crystal from the Divine Dice, but he didn’t absorb it himself. He gave it to his daughter, who did. Then, his daughter was killed by Zhao Lingxiao, who absorbed the extract. And finally, a part of that extract ended up in you through an organ transplant?"

"That’s right. It’s as if Zhao Lingxiao and I shared that Bloodline Crystal. Both of our Bloodline Crystal skills are incomplete," Su Ze said.

"That is strange. It makes no sense for the King of Mu to spare you and Zhao Lingxiao. Logically, his first move should have been to either draw out the extract from your bodies or kill you and let the Bloodline Crystal naturally form again," Chen Suifeng agreed that something was off.

"I learned from Feng Boyi that the King of Mu’s Bloodline Crystal was very special. It wasn’t just that it could be absorbed by a Mortal-level Life Form; it also had a certain requirement. Not just anyone could absorb it—it seems the King of Mu himself couldn’t. However, that requirement likely disappeared once the Bloodline Crystal was converted into an extract. Otherwise, Zhao Lingxiao wouldn’t have been so lucky as to absorb the Bloodline Crystal skill immediately.

"And if the King of Mu killed Zhao Lingxiao and me to wait for the crystal to naturally form again, it would probably have that absorption requirement again. His other option would be to draw out the extract from our bodies, but then whoever absorbed it would be tainted with a foul stench... But surely that can’t be the reason he spared me, can it?"

Logically, his priority should have been to get the Bloodline Crystal back. So, even if the King of Mu didn’t know the Zhao Family had used a clone as a scapegoat, he should have killed me immediately to either draw out the extract or retrieve the crystal after it reformed.

Su Ze continued, "Moreover, I’ve been in the public eye for so long, frequently appearing on the news and on TV. The King of Mu must have known about my existence for a long time, but he has never communicated or made contact with me in any way.

"Before, I only suspected something was wrong with the King of Mu, but it wasn’t until Zhao Yuanyi’s sudden death that I became certain.

"The King of Mu didn’t make a move against Zhao Yuanyi even after learning about my existence as a clone. But he killed him the instant Zhao Yuanyi started investigating Zhao Lingxiao’s corpse."

Chen Suifeng thought for a moment and said, "There are definitely a lot of suspicious things about the King of Mu. When he was young, he was a once-in-a-generation talent, almost on your level right now. Everyone thought he would quickly complete his fifth evolution and become a Venerable Powerhouse. But, unexpectedly, after becoming a Hegemon, it was as if his potential dried up. He completely vanished from the scene on the Lin Hua Continent... Now that I think about it, that’s suspicious too."

"But why do you have to go and provoke him?"

"Because I absorbed an incomplete Bloodline Crystal skill, I can’t proceed with my fifth evolution until I complete it. That’s why I must go to Mu Country and find the rest of the Bloodline Crystal," Su Ze explained. "And I have a feeling the King of Mu is counting on exactly that—that he’s waiting for me to return to Mu Country. It might be why he hasn’t killed me yet. He knows I’ll eventually go back on my own."

"What a headache." Chen Suifeng rubbed his head. "Based on what you’re saying, the rest of the Bloodline Crystal you’re looking for might just be in the King of Mu’s hands."

"So, can you come with me? Even if you don’t have to beat up the King of Mu, just guaranteeing my safety would be enough. With a Venerable Powerhouse like you, Mr. Feng, a mere Hegemon like the King of Mu won’t be able to cause any trouble," Su Ze said hopefully.

"It’s not as simple as you think," Chen Suifeng sighed. "Have you forgotten about Mu Country’s Saint Emissary?"

The capitals of the six nations each have a Venerable-level Powerhouse sent by the Sovereign Country to serve as the Saint Emissary.

"You think he’ll help the King of Mu fight us?"

"The Saint Emissary’s duty is to maintain stability and mediate conflicts among the six nations. You’re the Guardian God of Dongli; the moment you set foot in Mu Country’s capital, you’ll be on his radar. If I come along, and we end up in a conflict with Mu Country’s leader, do you really think he’s just going to stand by and do nothing? And that’s not all..."

"And what else?" Su Ze pressed, seeing Chen Suifeng’s expression grow even more grave.

"Because the Saint Emissary of Mu Country is also a suspected host for an alien!"

"He’s on that list too?"

"He completed all six trials of the Divine Dice, but whether or not he obtained a Bloodline Crystal is unknown."

Su Ze fell silent. He too could sense how difficult this was going to be. The resistance he’d face on this trip to Mu Country would be far greater than he had imagined.

Chen Suifeng analyzed, "I’m now more inclined to believe the Saint Emissary of Mu Country was possessed by an alien long ago. After all, the King of Mu is right under his nose, and he’s acting so abnormally. Yet, the higher-ups in Lin Hua Country and I haven’t heard a single word about it. That doesn’t add up. If any of the rulers of the six nations show signs of anything unusual, it’s his duty as Saint Emissary to report it immediately."
