A jolt went through Su Ze’s body as he received another fragmented memory.

He was back on a battlefield, the air ringing with thunderous war cries. He had once again become a Thought Race Divine Spirit, and his opponents were, as before, the Crystal Race—beings that looked as if they were forged from crystal.

’What kind of grudge do these Nian Race people have against the Crystal Race? Every time I see a scene involving them, they’re either fighting the Crystal Race or on their way to fight them!’

’Did the Crystal Race dig up your ancestors’ graves or something?’

’Or is your only hobby eating, sleeping, and fighting the Crystal Race?’

However, Su Ze noticed a difference from the vision he’d seen when he first absorbed a Purple Bloodline Crystal. This time, he wasn’t the commander of the Nian Race army, but a Deputy General following behind the commander.

This led him to make a few connections.

The first Purple Bloodline Crystal he’d absorbed had come from the Divine Dice. He remembered the wall where the Bloodline Crystals were displayed had three tiers. The one he had received was from the very top tier, and it had been the only one there.

Therefore, he’d always suspected that the remnant soul within that first Bloodline Crystal must have belonged to someone of high status among the Nian Race.

The vision he’d seen when he acquired the Bloodthirsty skill had confirmed this. In that memory, he had been the commander of a Nian Race army.

But now, absorbing King Mu’s Bloodline Crystal, the vision showed him as a mere Deputy General.

Apparently, King Mu hadn’t managed to get one of the Bloodline Crystals from the top row of the Divine Dice.

The memory continued to play out. The Nian Race Deputy General Su Ze had become wielded a sharp crystal dagger, flickering like a phantom through the Crystal Race army. His fighting style was similar to Mr. Ya’s—that of an agile assassin. However, his damage output didn’t rely solely on his equipment; he possessed powerful skills of his own.

Like a shadow, he constantly appeared behind his enemies, reaping the lives of the Crystal Race soldiers.

The dagger would be in his left hand one moment and then instantly appear in his right. He could switch it between his hands with fluid ease, just as he himself could appear anywhere with that same fluid freedom.

At that point, Su Ze understood what kind of skill he was acquiring.

’Should I call it instant teleportation? Or Blink? Neither seems to fit perfectly.’

’This Thought Race Divine Spirit called the skill "Space Jump." That’s more fitting, even if the "jump" distance is a little short.’

’It’s a short-range spatial movement skill, similar to "Blink." The difference is that it can move more than just the user—it can also move objects, like the weapon in one’s hand.’

’Just like I saw in the memory, the Thought Race Divine Spirit was constantly switching the dagger between his hands—left, then right—making him impossible for enemies to guard against.’
