Chapter 41: Energy Stones!

Suddenly there was a whoosh sound.

Igris’s body shifted, avoided the attack.

"Boom!"

That undead energy beam hit the ground on Igris’s right side, not only leaving a huge empty pit, but also killing all the plants that surrounded the pit.

"Damn! Such a powerful attack beam. this Undead Demon Wolf is extremely powerful!"

’If I could get my hands on its loot, it would save me, at least, half a year’s hard work! Wait, what the heck am I even thinking about?!’ Igris laughed at his own thoughts. It was still uncertain whether he would even make it out of this situation or not, yet he was thinking about its loot.

"Bang!" "Bang!" "Bang!"

Undead energy beams were fired, one after the other, once again Igris could feel it from the back of his head. But he, somehow, always managed to find the best escape route, it was almost like he was just taking a walk through a war zone.

That Undead Demon Wolf was furious, it stopped firing and, instead, it started to chase that little human who was running ahead with its full power, slowly catching up.

Fifty steps!

Forty steps!

Thirty steps!

’...’

Igris shivered and hurriedly increased his speed. Plus, with the help of his asura bloodline he reached an inhumanly fast speed.

However, even with all that, the Undead Demon Wolf was still catching up, but now at a much slower rate.

They were both moving at an extremely fast speed. Without them even noticing, they reached the deepest part of the city. It was weirdly quiet, with not a single sound.

The Undead Demon Wolf, that was chasing in the back, seemed to be a bit scared, it slowed down its speed, its humongous head kept checking around.

"Now!"

Igris immediately turns around, equipped his sword and activated Tempest Wind Slash.

Instantly, the runes on his arm lit up as it enveloped his blade.

[Ding! 100x Mutiplier Activated]

As Igor’s slashed at the distracted beast, a massive wind blade 300 meters long erupted from Igor’s blade, drowning the Undead demon wolf.

Before the wolf could even see what was happening, the massive blade crashed into it slicing it into a perfect half and then collided with a 20 meters. Tall building building which disintegrated into rubble and then it vanished into the horizon without ever stopping.

"Damn!"

Igris was stunned by the power of 100x attack. That power was simply too strong it might even go beyond the power of this First Dimension!

[Undead Demon Wolf Killed] [3000 Exp][Undead breastplate][Undying Fruit][3000 Crowns]

"Just these?"

Just as his was dissatisfied with the loot, all of the sudden, a huge figure jumped out from the bushes on the side, it bit into the divided Undead Demon Wolf’s neck effortlessly as it gnawed on it like a grinding machine against cheese.

Igris body froze but he turned around and fled without hesitation.

When Igris turned back to check what was going on, his eyes caught that huge beast’s eyes. They were bloody red with a sharp intense stare, extremely murderous.

’Level 20 Mutated Boss Monster: Crimson Tyrant!’

Igris was stressing out, he did not expect that he would encounter the Undead Demon Wolf and especially not the even stronger Crimson Tyrant on this trip. He thought he would still have a chance of grinding deep in this place.

Even though he tried to deny it, he knew this was the deepest part of the undead city, otherwise there would not be Level 20 Boss Monsters here.

Seeing that Crimson Tyrant catching up to him, Igris forced himself to be calm, he scanned the surroundings carefully, then noticed the rock hill on his left side.

Over there, there was a huge horizontal crack, it seemed to be done by a sword of some sort, it was so deep that you could not see the bottom.

There was no time to consider the consequences, Igris’s right foot pushed against the ground and his body jumped out and dived into that huge crack.

"Boom!"

The tyrant’s stretched as it collided with the building.

The rock hill cracked and shook violently as rocks fell. Because the Crimson Tyrant’s body was way too big to fit in the crack, it could not reach Igris at all.

Igris did not think the entrance could hold back that zombie for long, so he started to walk deeper into the cave. With his physique he could actually see clearly in the dark.

"Didn’t expect the bloodline to bring unexpected gifts."

Without knowing how long he had walked, Igris could not hear anything from the outside anymore.

"Drip!"

A drop of water fell down from the top, Igris subconsciously dodged it.

"Before, I did not know how fast my reflexes were, I cannot believe that I can even sense a drop of falling water and manage to dodge it.’

If it was before, even if Igris could sense the water dripping, his body would not be able to react fast enough, but now, his mind was almost perfectly connected with his body.

After walking for a while, Igris could feel air flow blowing on his face, suddenly his mood was lightened and he increased his walking speed, took out his blade, and accumulated all his energy, ready to go.

A wave of fresh wind blew past, Igris’s view expanded.

In front of him was a humongous space, with a height of ten meters. It was, surprisingly, an underground world.

There was river, trees, and a Clay Hut. Outside the hut, there was a stone pavilion with a stone table and four stone chairs in it.

"Is there someone living here?" Igris was shocked, but also extremely curious, he thought he found the exit, but it turned out to be a completely different world.

There seemed to be fish in the river. They kept appearing at the surface and making noises. As for the trees, they were weird looking, unlike the normal trees, the branches were as gray as the rock, they only had a couple of leaves, looking very lifeless.

He did not dare risk anything, Igris walked towards the Clay Hut.

"Hello?" Standing outside, Igris yelled.

After yelling a couple of times without any response, Igris took a deep breath and pushed the door open.

The Clay Hut was not very big and the size of a small bedroom.

The first thing that appeared in his sight was a huge portrait: there was a gorgeous lady in the painting, her hair was like a waterfall, her eyes were like the stars. She was like a fairy, a flower, she had a unique aura that Igris had never seen before.

On the right bottom corner were the words, "Red Queen".

Seeing the name, Igris was shocked.

In this game like world, there were countless powerful warriors, however, there were only a couple of them that were considered true experts and have reached the realm of Godhood to sponsor others for example, the Con King, Nine Headed God, Gentle King, and Red Queen.

As the only female among the Demigods, the Red Queen was definitely a legend.

No one actually knew how powerful the Red Queen was.

Some said that she was one of the top five strongest Demigods; some said she was weaker than the Nine Headed God and the Gentle King while some said she was just below the Con King.

Of course, all of those were only assumptions, but everyone agreed that she had reached an extraordinary level.

Studying the painting, Igris realized that no matter how hard he tried, he could not see the Red Queen’s face, it seemed like the painter intentionally blurred it out to create a mysterious beauty.

After a long while, Igris finally finished staring, but he could not help but started to question.

"Who lives here? Who could manage to get a painting of the Red Queen?"

Being a queen for decades, not many people were qualified to meet her. And looking at the age of the paint, the painting was painted no more than ten years ago.

And where is the person who dwells here now? The painting was perfectly preserved which means whoever put it there must have treasured it. Then why did the owner not take it with him or her?

"Hm? What is this?"

After scanning the room, Igris’s eyes focused on a stone in the wall that was rougher than other walls.

That segment didn’t look much different but it looked as though it had been moved quite a lot.

He reached out and tried to move it. The stone suddenly pressed inside and then a section of the wall collapsed, a small compartment inside.

Inside the hidden compartment, there were two manuals, a large blade with a huge scabbard, and some egg-sized jade stones shining with white light.

"No way! Energy Stone!" Looking at the Energy Stones, Igris could not stay calm anymore.

He took the jade stone and tried to absorb the energy.

"Boom!"

It was like a dam breaking, the soul energy powered out from the Energy Stone and flooded towards Igris’s meridians.

"Not good! Warriors below the level 30 are too weak to cultivate with Energy Stone!"
