I Attack 10,000x Times Stronger
Chapter 55: Conflict Of The Eight Geniuses
The interior of the auction plaza was breathtaking—vastly larger than any convention center from Igris’s old Earth. The walls were studded with raw gold and shimmering crystals, arranged in intricate, mana-infused patterns that weren’t just gaudy; they emitted a subtle, euphoric aura that made people feel genuinely happy just looking at them.
Their VIP room was situated on the left side, directly opposite the massive stone auction stage.
The room wasn’t massive, but it oozed luxury. A couple of plush leather chairs crafted from the hides of demonic beasts sat facing a purple-wood table inlaid with gold filigree, which was currently groaning under the weight of exotic fruits and snacks. Landscape paintings that seemed to shift and move hung on the walls.
"Respected sirs, if you need absolutely anything, just call for me. I’ll be right outside," the hostess purred before backing out of the room, pulling the door shut behind her.
Caleb immediately threw himself onto one of the demonic-beast leather chairs. It enveloped him like a cloud, carrying a faint, delicate fragrance.
"Man, VIP rooms are the best! I could get used to sitting on monster-skin chairs."
Igris dropped into the chair next to him and chuckled. "Is that really all it takes to make you happy?"
"What can I say? I’m a simple man with expensive tastes," Caleb said, popping a fat grape into his mouth and chewing with a grin.
Igris shook his head and did not say anything. He only had one goal, that was to become stronger, and to discover the secrets and the truths of the world.
The private room, just three rooms away from them was occupied by five young warriors.
The man sitting on the far left corner was none other than Lionel, who was beaten by Igris a few days ago.
The pretty girl Serena was sitting right next to him this time too. As for the teenager in the purple gold suit who was sitting in the middle, he was eighteen years old.
His eyebrows were thick and sharp like a blade, his eyes were bright, like two shining black crystals.
He had very long legs, that were about four inches longer than normal people. When he sat down in the room, everyone present could sense the boundless pressure coming from him. He was obviously the leader of the five.
The two people sitting beside the teenager were wearing the same clothes as Serena, they were all purple, without any gold.
"Lionel, I haven’t seen you for half a year now, you seem to be a lot stronger now." The teenager said casually while stroking his storage ring.
Gerald had a complicated look on his face, he said, "How can I compare with you, Eeon? You did not get your title ’Swift Kick’ for nothing."
"Of course, in Windy Nation, besides that Core Disciple Erin who had already reached the Level 30, our is definitely one of the top." One of them said.
"Yah, yah. But I heard that this time, the third disciple from the Frost Crest Martial Academy, ’Fast Blade’ Sung Jin-hoo is also coming here. I think that he is here for the same thing as you – that great sabre." Sitting with Eeon, he always felt inferior to him, so he brought up Sung Jin-hoo to tease him.
Eeon sneered, "’Fast Blade’ Sung Jin-hoo, I will fight him one day.
Then we will see whose sabre is fierce." Although people knew him as the "Swift Kick", his blade art was also very powerful. It was just that there were too many people using a sabre. Everyone in the Frost Crest Academy were great with sabres, so he chose to emphasize his legs more.
Right then, a human figure became visible through the crystal glass in front of the group.
The figure wore a white Suit, which made his body look extremely straight and skinny. Although he seemed to be walking very slowly, the hostess was unable to catch up with him, and almost tripped. The figure gave people a very strong impression. But if you moved your attention to his face, then you would be a little disappointed. Because, he had a very common face, it was so ordinary that you might not even recognize him in a crowd.
"Sung Jin-hoo." A bright light flashed past Eeon’s eyes. He subconsciously lowered his body, which resulted in the chair making deep cracking sounds.
As if he sensed the attention from Eeon, the figure turned his head. Their eyes met, and suddenly, the atmosphere in the whole room froze.
The hostess was very curious, because the wall was made of a special kind of crystal, that only allowed one to see from the inside, but not from outside. ’Why does this disciple from the Frost Crest Academy look like he just saw someone?’
Inside the private room, Lionel did not look Sung Jin-hoo in the eye. However, he could not help but feel terrified when Sung Jin-hoo’s eyes swept past him.
He felt as if he was being cut by a knife, it almost felt like Sung Jin-hoo’s gaze turned into solid knives and could cut the air and even wound people’s souls. It seemed like it contained unbelievable power.
In the air, Eeon’s eyes caught Sung Jin-hoo’s, this clash brought up sparks and flames, neither of them wanted to back out.
After a few moments, they both separated their gaze.
"Frost Crest Fast Blade, huh." Eeon sneered. But his face did not look good. Although he was not as powerful as Young master Frost Crest , he could still observe a few things.
Even though it seemed like they were both evenly matched earlier, he knew that he had already lost. ’No wonder the leader of the Frost Crest Academy Jaime thought that Sung Jin-hoo was the one who had the most probability to sense the blade intent.’
However, as long as Sung Jin-hoo had not sensed it, Eeon knew that he still had a chance to compete with him.
