I Awakened An Outer God Class
Chapter 59: Dantiz Fabrizio
[The Next Morning]
Mikhail looked at himself in front of the full body mirror in his room, dressed in the official uniform of the university.
He wore a white shirt and a dark blue coat over it, black trousers along with a brooch and an ID card.
’This looks good on me.’ 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
Mikhail thought with a smile on his face before he nodded his head.
It wasn’t necessary to wear the uniform all the time but because it was the first day, Mikhail decided to wear it.
’Better to not stand out on the first day.’
He thought before he found the yellow cat, ready to jump.
Methew didn’t waste any time as he leaped onto his shoulder and got comfortable.
Mikhail glanced at the mirror, fixed his hair and walked out of the room.
Because the prince wasn’t inside, he closed the door and walked down the hallway.
Thinking about the prince, Mikhail couldn’t help but grimace about what he had seen yesterday. ’What the hell is wrong with him?’
He couldn’t understand why a grown man would do such a thing.
’I mean, I understand his predicament but still.’
Mikhail couldn’t help but find the prince extremely dubious.
He reached Kevin’s room and knocked on it twice while throwing the matter about the prince to the back of his mind.
After a few seconds, Kevin opened the door wearing the same uniform.
He sized up Mikhail before he whistled.
"Damn, you look great." He walked out, closing the door. "Makes me wonder if you want to trap a naive noble lady in your love."
"I am not a protagonist of a novel." Mikhail rebuked with a smile. "Besides, I am not really interested in anyone."
"What a gay thing to say." Kevin replied smugly.
Mikhail ignored him as they walked down the staircase leading to the ground floor.
The entire campus was filled with students both new and old, walking towards their respective classes.
Mikhail had already located their class beforehand so he was the one leading them.
Under the shade of the trees along the stone path, they both walked towards the third building.
As they walked, Mikhail noticed how most of the students were walking in groups.
"Patrick mentioned the groups within the first year students." Kevin said in a subdued tone.
"They say there are two groups, one led by Prince Valkor and the other by the daughter of the prime minister. Her name is Alodia Chovies."
Mikhail nodded his head and walked inside the third building.
Their class was on the ground floor so it wasn’t hard to find.
Suddenly, he thought of something.
"But doesn’t the prime minister work under the King?" He asked. "Why is Alodia standing up against the prince?"
"From what I know, she had some beef with the prince." Kevin replied, his voice confused. "I don’t have much information."
’Yeah, he only just arrived here along with me.’
Mikhail was quite interested in the university politics, though he didn’t want to be part of it.
When Mikhail and Kevin arrived at their classroom, they found it almost full.
The class was already divided, from what Mikhail could see.
On the left side sat all the nobles, easy to distinguish with their unique hair colours and air of arrogance.
On the right sat the group of students that felt more like him; the commoners.
’Most of them should be children of parliament members.’
Mikhail thought, giving a quick glance around the room before taking a seat on the right side along with Kevin.
Just as he sat down, he felt quite a few eyes on them.
’They must be looking at Kevin.’
By all means, Kevin with his King’s rank and Monarch class was extremely important.
If he wanted, Kevin could directly challenge the king, and if he won he would become the new king.
’That was the rule the kingdom was built on...anyone with a King’s rank could be king.’
There would be quite a few old figures who would try to make Kevin a weapon by arranging their daughters and granddaughters to fall in love with him.
’An easy way to groom a king and make him a puppet. I just hope Kevin isn’t stupid enough to fall for such a trick.’
Mikhail looked to his left when he noticed someone staring at him, not Kevin.
It was a girl with long midnight blue hair and deep purple eyes. There was a genial smile on her face with a mole under her lip.
Mikhail immediately thought of the name. ’Alodia Chovies. Daughter of the prime minister...’
The girl gave him a gentle nod before she looked away.
Mikhail frowned, unable to gauge the lady’s intention.
’Whatever.’
He let out a sigh and looked at the door which opened up quietly.
A man in his mid-thirties walked in, holding a file in his hand.
In an instant, the entire classroom fell silent and everyone’s heart felt like it was being held by some invisible force.
Mikhail frowned when he felt the same. ’Some sort of skill?’
In the silence, the man with short black hair and a receding hairline put his file on the desk.
With cold grey eyes he looked at the abnormally silent students.
"My name is Dantiz Fabrizio." He said in a deep voice. "And I will be responsible for your class from this day onwards."
’Dantiz Fabrizio, a former head of the royal guards who left his position because of some dispute.’
Mikhail had heard of the man and couldn’t help but recall that information.
The man with a clean face kept his silence for three seconds before he continued. "I do not wish for any type of problem in my class, neither do I want to deal with your bratty attitude."
As he said that, Mikhail felt like his heart was squirming, as if a parasite was crawling over it.
’What is this feeling?’
Mikhail thought to himself and didn’t let the discomfort appear on his face.
Dantiz Fabrizio picked up his file and said. "Raise your hand if you are already an Ascendant."
Almost half of the students raised their hand while the others remained silent.
Most of those students were from the right side; the noble descendants.
Kevin had a weird look on his face when he noticed that both Mikhail and even Patrick had their hands raised.
The professor looked at them before he said.
"As a bonus for your achievement, you will get a chance to enter the rift tomorrow."
His words made a bunch of students smile with happiness.
"And for the others, work harder."
He didn’t give any more motivational speech.
"Who can answer the fundamentals of Rifts?"
Dantiz Fabrizio started the first class.
