Chapter 648: Chapter 8: Arrival and the Interstellar Hyenas

Han Zhan stepped into the vortex and disappeared through the Shuttle Gate.

This was his second time entering the Shuttle Gate.

Unlike the first time, upon entering the Shuttle Gate this time, he did not immediately arrive at his destination.

Han Zhan felt as if he had been thrown into a fully operational spinning washing machine, uncontrollably spinning at great speed.

The powerful tearing force almost ripped him apart!

If Han Zhan’s flesh body’s strength wasn’t Tier Nine, even a Tier Eight Body Cultivator would definitely be severely injured when suddenly subjected to such a force.

With the blessing of the Supreme Physique, Han Zhan got through the initial stage, and he reacted by donning the Mixed Treasure Armor that Taishang Laojun personally forged and upgraded for him.

With the Mixed Treasure Armor, he finally managed to withstand the turbulence during the shuttle process.

At last, Han Zhan felt as if someone had kicked him hard in the back, making him lunge forward.

The next second, his vision suddenly cleared.

A vast wilderness stretched before him, everything in sight was a soil yellow.

The air coming towards him carried a heat wave that dried out his nasal passages, making it seem like his body’s moisture would evaporate completely in a second.

Hot, scorching, dry.

These were Han Zhan’s first impressions of this completely unfamiliar planet.

He withdrew his gaze, intending to turn around and put the Shuttle Gate back into the Storage Bag, for future return to the Blue Star Fruit World.

Suddenly, a crisp sound appeared beside his ear.

Crack!

A visible crack appeared on the frame of the Shuttle Gate, and it grew larger, spreading throughout the entire frame.

Crack!

Another, louder sound came.

Immediately after, the item that helped Han Zhan traverse from the Blue Star Fruit World to this unfamiliar planet shattered before his eyes.

Looking at the remains scattered on the ground, Han Zhan’s lips twitched slightly.

Without the Shuttle Gate, how was he supposed to return to the Blue Star Fruit World?

Before he could figure out this problem, an urgent shout came from afar, getting closer.

"What are you standing there for!"

"Run!"

"Run fast!"

On the horizon, a cyberpunk-style off-road motorcycle was speeding towards him.

Dust clouds, colored soil yellow, kicked up behind the motorcycle, blurring the view.

Han Zhan watched the approaching motorcycle, waving to pick up the scattered Shuttle Gate materials, while still looking up.

The other party moved extremely fast, and in the blink of an eye, the motorcycle was in front of him. The rider, wearing a helmet, had his face obscured. He controlled the handlebars with one hand and reached out to Han Zhan with the other.

"Grab on, get on!" His voice came from inside the helmet.

After hesitating, Han Zhan reached out his hand.

Feeling a strong pull from the other party, Han Zhan flipped onto the back seat of the motorcycle.

After Han Zhan got on, the other party twisted the throttle hard, and the motorcycle roared, the power reaching its peak.

"Why are we running?" Han Zhan asked from the back.

"What did you say?!" The driver in front, with the helmet on, seemed unable to hear what Han Zhan said and loudly asked back.

"Why are we running!"

Han Zhan raised his voice; this time, the other party finally understood.

"Because the Interstellar Hyenas are coming."

Interstellar Hyenas? A question mark flashed in Han Zhan’s mind. What kind of creature was that, was it an Exotic Beast?

"Judging by your appearance, you should be a smuggler from another planet, right?"

"Look back, in ten seconds, you’ll see the true form of those hyenas."

As he had just finished speaking, as if to confirm his words, amid the yellow sand clouds rising behind them, bizarrely shaped black Starships broke through the sandy mist, appearing behind them.

Han Zhan, with sharp eyes, clearly saw the abstract patterns painted in various colors of ink on the front of these black Starship-shaped vehicles.

That pattern seemed to be—an Interstellar Hyena!

"Ahhhh—"

"Wooooo—"

The Interstellar Hyenas seemed to have locked onto the motorcycle that Han Zhan was on; from the loudspeakers atop the black Starships, maniacal and bizarre screams echoed across the wilderness.

"These lunatics." The man riding the motorcycle cursed.

By now, the motorcycle’s throttle had been twisted to the maximum, and even the engine let out a low, roaring wail.

The power systems of those black Starships were clearly superior to the motorcycle’s, as the gap between them visibly shrank.

The Interstellar Hyenas relentlessly pursued, the undersides of the black Starships were hovering, and from the gaps between them and the ground, cold, gleaming claws shot forth.

The nearest one just hit the sandy soil less than half a meter behind the right of the motorcycle.

The chase didn’t last long.

The five black Starships had completely closed in on the motorcycle. With the motorcycle driver’s skilled driving skills, they narrowly avoided the claws multiple times, ultimately leaping through the gap between two sand dunes.

At this point, the Interstellar Hyenas, which had been zealously chasing them, suddenly stopped in front of the two sand dunes.

"Why did they stop chasing?"

Upon seeing this, and observing those five black Starships parked outside the dunes, Han Zhan curiously asked.

The motorcycle rider abruptly made a braking maneuver, drawing a large circle on the ground before coming to a stop.

He removed his motorcycle helmet, revealing a head of golden curls, sapphire-like eyes, and skin as pale as if suffering from malnutrition, seemingly just over twenty, with handsome features.

At this moment, a faint, enigmatic smile played on his lips.

"Because..."

"This is Tukalu’s territory."

Crack!

Crack!

Before Han Zhan could react, his hands were locked with chains of unknown material. The locking, removing, and distancing were executed with seamless skill, showing evidently no lack of experience.

As the chains bound his wrists, Han Zhan realized his Spiritual Power seemed to be suddenly blocked from being sensed.

He couldn’t even conjure and summon any Divine Soldiers!

"Hey," the other man, seeing the fleeting astonishment on Han Zhan’s face, chuckled softly.

"Good job, Punk. Congratulations on snatching the goods from those Interstellar Hyenas again."

A voice came from behind, where the sand dunes had been; grains of sand emerged, forming a plump, middle-aged man.

Laughing heartily, he walked over to the young man, satisfied as he assessed Han Zhan, patting the young man’s shoulder.

The young man, addressed as "Punk," nonchalantly shrugged and snapped his fingers.

"Boss Tu, ten Sand Coins, as usual."

Tukalu stacked a pile of golden round coins and placed them on Punk’s outstretched right hand, who gently weighed them, making the golden Sand Coins sway up and down in his hand.

"Paid in full." Punk smiled, kicking Han Zhan off the motorcycle and then starting the engine, leaving as the vehicle sped away.

At this moment, Tukalu lowered his head, bending over to look at Han Zhan on the ground, baring two large golden teeth.

"Welcome to Yongsha Star, greedy smuggler!"
