"But I didn’t expect you’ll be this good with your sword and essence control. There must be a reason Blac didn’t attack you." She said. The ice on the shoulder continued to build and covered her left hand and turned it into a big crossbow like instrument.

Azaroth brought all his attention back on the fight and narrowed his eyes wondering how she expected herself to move with that bulk on her.

But this is her ability. Litha can create ice, but only on herself. She can’t, for example create an ice spear in thin air and used it, no, but she can grow it on herself.

So she’s used to carrying in bulk and infact like to use it to surprise her opponent! She raised her hand and shot an ice spear from the crossing and it blasted out in a rush of freezing air!

It was so fast that Azaroth didn’t almost catch it on time but his sword came up and down and he split the spear into two! 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

It was exactly what Litha was waiting for! It’s a special move of her, distract the opponent with the spear and then attack in that seconds they are distracted!

Azaroth suddenly saw Litha in front of him and the only thing he could do is jack his sword into a defensive position! Litha didn’t attack with her sword, instead she brought back her left hand and then hit him with it!

Bang!

The force slammed into Azaroth and he grunted as he was sent back, his feet staggering on the ground. But he should have known she’s not done because she only whirled with the momentum and then, pang! She hit him again and this time Azaroth went skidding on the ground.

Pain flared on his face and shoulder because he was forging his hands and legs he wasn’t ready. Especially his chest where the second attack hit. Even with all that he quickly got to his feet because he knew that’s the perfect time to attack.

But it seems Litha herself have used a lot of essence and was using that time to catch her breath. She usually don’t have to go all out like this because her sword could do the job most times and if that failed then the ice spears for sure! Her spears are usually too fast to so and they packed a punch!

Azaroth rubbed his shoulder, his eyes in a frown and serious as he thought about how many times he had nearly died. But now, it’s time to use his technique as well.

Up above the roof, Blac was having a good time watching the fights. He was glad he made the decision not to attack Azaroth since he came to this village. The boy is strange, it’s as if he has the power but didn’t quite know how to use it.

He lacks experience! But he also have some kind of experience that made his instincts and reflexes work fast. Blac blinked, will the tax collectors really fall today?

But Blac isn’t only following Azaroth fight, his eyes are on the others as well.

Stallus and Gyus. Right now they are drawn into a close fighting where their hands blurred.

Gyus is fighting with transformed hands with sharp long claws. That’s his ability, to transform into a beast but right now his rank is still low so he can only transform his hands but that’s enough to make his powerful to gain the position he was in today.

Stallus focus on her essence in her hands and just like Azaroth she’s pretend she has the power of an Initiate level! But even with her essence forging she still felt the sharp claws trying to tear into her and strip her of flesh.

Each moment from Gyus is accompanied by claws and he’s making progress in wearing down the essence in her hands. The claws are covered by thin layer of red essence and cutting away at her own essence.

Worse still he’s not giving her space to disengage and redone her essence forging. What a beast! Gyus laughed and he licked his lips. "You should not have flash your fangs to the like of us! I admit that you are powerful for kids your age but that only means you should respect us the more! I’ll kill you now so you don’t grow into monsters!"

Stallus gritted her teeth, she has a lot on her mind to say regarding that but all of her focus is on keeping the claws away from her. No time to do anything else! But she also know she can’t continue like this so she began to divert some essence to her legs in preparation while she got a feel for the claw technique he’s using.

Stallus was really surprised and impressed by the hand fighting technique of Gyus. It’s like fighting an impenetrable wall with no opening at all. She won’t be able to get out of this unless she’s really creative. She studied the technique as they fought and came to a conclusion, ’I’ll only get one chance at this!"

With her forge weakening due to her diversion she knew the right time is now! As their hands moved, Stallus made some hand gestures that made her grip Gyus’s two hands for two seconds.

In that two seconds she tapped the ground with a her strength and jetted away from the place! Leaving Gyus looking in surprise.

Stallus was able to breathe again as she created space between them. Her hands ached and throbbed with pain, and she shook them out with a grimace. "He nearly robbed me of hands."

Gyus was still blinking in surprise and he smiled. "Too bad you are a fake Initiate rank. I would have recommend you to one of the leaders in Greytown. You have potential but it’s a shame that you’ll die before it’s turned to something."

Stallus raised her brows. "Funny, it’s because of my potential that I’m here exactly."
