Rogel and the others continued advancing towards the high tower.

Along the way, many monsters emerged to block their path, not only looking fierce but also not retreating an inch during battle.

In response, Rogel naturally didn’t get involved, choosing to let Yas and the others face them.

Everyone was quite competent, and Rogel didn’t get to chew on many nuts before the path cleared.

However, the road’s environment wasn’t so pleasant.

Rotting animal and human corpses were everywhere, their deaths tragic.

From the wounds, it seemed they were chased and killed by some creature, then beheaded.

After a battle, Rogel and the others arrived beneath the high tower.

Standing on either side of the tower entrance were two guards with terrifying appearances.

Rogel furrowed his brows.

Just as he was about to make a move, Mira stepped forth from behind him: "I’ll handle this."

After saying this, a gigantic figure appeared before him.

"Roar—"

The Shield Giant roared and pounded its chest, then stretched its massive, heavy arms before it, charging at the two monsters with immense impact wrapped in a stone shield.

The two monsters didn’t seem to have any intention of dodging the Shield Giant’s attack.

Then, with a bang, they were smashed into a vague mess of flesh.

Along with the tower gate and parts of the wall, they were also shattered by the Shield Giant.

The strength was indeed impressive.

"Let’s go."

Rogel and the others stepped over these two mangled corpses and entered the ruined tower.

The smell of blood, congealed bloodstains, and the decaying parts of some unknown creatures...

Of course, what caught the eye most was the heads wrapped in black power floating in the air.

Among them were animal heads, human heads, and some from unknown species.

Without exception, terror was etched onto each face, endlessly spinning in the air as if on display, under the guidance of the black power.

Rogel reached out with a hand.

All the heads instantly broke free from the control of the black power, being gathered by him in a corner.

Next, he looked toward the staircase.

The staircase entrance was wrapped in a layer of black corpses, leaving only a layer of soft, sticky flesh in the middle.

These black corpses seemed roughly mashed together by someone and then manually piled up like a dirt wall.

Bam—

Without a word, Yas raised his hand and threw a punch with immense force.

Countless black corpses scattered and landed all around, a foul stench pervading.

"Huh... woohoo?"

Someone upstairs seemed to have noticed the commotion, letting out a strange cry.

"Hee hee, ha ha ha..."

Along with this neurotic laughter came a person dressed peculiarly and appearing out of their mind.

And she was naturally the master of this ruined tower.
