I Just Wanted to Be a Galactic Hunter—Why Am I on the Wanted List?
Chapter 378: Treating Everyone!!
After a round of "friendly and loving" interaction, Loren looked over at the few people who had been watching the commotion.
"By the looks of it, you all got the inheritance, right?" Loren asked in a casual tone, pretending not to care.
Since I already took the stone slab, you guys probably have no idea...
When the trio heard Loren's question, they didn't think much of it and simply nodded with smiles.
"Yeah, it wasn't a wasted trip." Hankley nodded.
"Of course, we were just waiting for you." Tannas also smiled at Loren.
Right then, Seena finally stopped rubbing the top of her head, stood up, waved her hand, and declared with an air of superiority:
"Of course we got it!"
"And, Mr. Loren! You were the last one out, holding us up for a whole day and night!"
"Hankley needs to hurry off for revenge, Tannas has to rush back to the Church for the Bishop election, and me and Boss Cook have been freezing our asses off in the wind!"
"Treat us! You HAVE to treat us!"
"We're gonna drain your wallet!"
As Seena shouted about making Loren treat everyone, she quickly scurried behind Cook P. Jones and the other two.
Getting cocky alone made it easy for Loren to "solo kill" her, but dragging the teammates into it changed things...
At least Loren would have to knock out the other three before he could get to her!
Gotta say, a Mage's brain sure came in handy.
Seeing Seena hide behind the group, Loren, in a pretty good mood, just shrugged nonchalantly.
Forget it, I'll let you off this time...
Then, he nodded with a generous smile:
"My pleasure, my teammates."
"Come to think of it, I've never actually had a group meal before in my life."
"I'm looking forward to it."
Loren said this without changing his expression, but in his mind, he was mulling over Seena's words.
Oh... so I actually spent a whole day in that ruin?
Interesting, the flow of time inside the ruin is different.
Looks like Mr. Floor Tile staggered the times when I entered the ruin from Seena's trio, deliberately putting me last...
Just as Loren was pondering why he had spent an entire day inside the ruin, Raven's voice suddenly rang out in his mind:
"Master, that annoying slab guy asked me to tell you!!!"
"Because Master entered the incomplete Divine Kingdom with your physical body, unlike those three who used their Spiritual Power, you had to cross a very long dimensional rift to reach the temple entrance."
"And that kind of dimensional rift messes with your perception of time."
"In reality, that cracked Mr. Floor Tile carried you flying for a full day and night."
"Not just a short two minutes..."
Upon hearing this, Loren was stunned for a rare moment.
So that's how it is, Mr. Floor Tile... looks like I wronged you...
Loren, always kind-hearted, silently mourned for that dutiful "Mr. Floor Tile" for one second in his heart.
"Come on, you guys decide which city."
With nearly a million Spirit Stones stored in his spatial storage device and nowhere to spend them, Loren urged the group with a confident look.
Hearing this, Cook P. Jones and the other three's eyes all lit up, and they cheered:
"I'm gonna eat like crazy!"
"Damn right! I'm gonna eat back all the misery I've suffered over the past twenty-plus days!"
"Let's go! Head to the City of Canbera!! I've always wanted to try 'Sadia's Private Restaurant' there!"
...
"Hey, hey, hey! If we go to a restaurant recommended by a Goblin magazine, Mr. Loren won't kill us when he sees the bill, right?"
Tannas, the only one still holding onto some rationality, couldn't help but remind the others.
"Don't underestimate Mr. Loren!!" Cook P. Jones shouted excitedly.
"Exactly! Don't underestimate Mr. Loren!! He's got enough Spirit Stones in his pocket to handle it!" Seena chimed in loudly from the side!
...
Hearing the four of them squabbling, Loren secretly checked the assets in the "Crimson Tear" with a face full of dark lines...
About 941,000 Spirit Stones... should be enough, right?
Then again, in a place like the Beastkin Star Domain, do you even need to pay for meals?
"Quick, Mr. Loren! Time to head out!"
"Woo-hoo! First time going to such an expensive restaurant! Thanks, Mr. Loren!"
"Let's go, let's go! I can't wait! Thanks, Mr. Loren!"
"Shut up, you bastards!! If the bill goes over a hundred thousand Spirit Stones, I'll kill you!"
"Hahahaha! Mr. Loren finally cracked!"
...
And so, the five of them set off in a chaotic, noisy atmosphere!
Since everyone had already entered that ancient ruin, they could now leave this forest!
Finally, they could fly!
No more trudging through the awful conditions of the Snow-Covered Forest on foot!
As a Legendary powerhouse, Cook P. Jones was the first to soar into the sky, shouting with excitement!
"Ah-ha! I almost forgot what flying felt like!!"
Seeing this, Seena also took out her Staff, lightly tapped the snow-covered ground, and unleashed a "Mass Flight Spell"!
The figures of the remaining people on the ground were all lifted into the sky by a gentle breeze...
Until they were level with Cook P. Jones! 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
It was worth noting that this time, even Loren, who already had flight capabilities, was hit by Seena's Mass Flight Spell.
"No need to thank me, Mr. Loren!"
"Just let me order when we eat! Hahaha..." Seena said with a mischievous grin.
Loren's face darkened again.
You've really got a nasty personality, young lady Mage! If I'd known, I wouldn't have agreed to treat you...
Still, even as he silently muttered a quiet remark about her, Loren ultimately didn't unfurl his own black wings.
Instead, he chose to rely on Seena's spell, flying along with the group with a dark look on his face...
Seeing this, everyone's lips curled into relieved smiles.
Mr. Loren finally has a bit of humanity in him. It's about time...
"Let's go! City of Canbera! Full speed ahead!"
With a loud roar, Cook P. Jones flew off first!
The others let out strange yells before quickly following, racing out of the Snow-Covered Forest...
Up in the sky, the group finally looked something like a high-tier team of Superhumans!
...
Meanwhile, deep beneath the Snow-Covered Forest!
Inside a cave-like structure built entirely of crystal-clear gems!
A massive silhouette, as imposing as a mountain, slowly opened its eyes!
A cold snort erupted from its monstrous, gaping mouth!
"Hmph!!!"
"You heartless bastard! You didn't even say goodbye before leaving!"
"Humans? Not even worth a dog's second glance!"
Its tone was filled with indignant fury!
