Chapter 1985: Hye’s Domineering Performance

Hye’s words looked more like fantasies and wild dreams to Olana. But she didn’t openly express her thoughts. If any, she knew Hye was always the one who brought miracles and did unbelievable things since the moment she met him.

So she decided to believe in him, believe in doing the impossible and the unthinkable.

"I don’t know about how many forces you have, but one thing is certain for me," Olana then decided to warn him about a misunderstanding, "this world doesn’t support our universe’s ways. Portals and such stuff mostly won’t work here..."

"No, it works fine." Hye didn’t respond with words, but with actions. He simply took out his staff, opened a portal right at the spot, one that linked this place to somewhere far from here.

It was a portal linked to where he left Legend. And it was time to bring everyone on his side together, so they would start their next step in the plan.

Watching Legend pass through the portals with lots of warriors made Olana gape. She was now sure of Hye’s ability to crush the different weakened forces bases and take full control over them.

As Legend’s forces were joining his side again, Hye led the grand army further away from the Hescos base. When he received news about scouts following his steps, Hye wasn’t bothered by this.

To him, he knew many eyes would follow and watch. To him, he didn’t care or feel any worry.

"Now," after walking for almost five hours straight outside the Hescos base, Hye turned to the four most trusted and capable generals and added, "each will lead an army, head towards one of these many spots. Once you are done, just send a messenger over, and I’ll come and visit your place, arrange everything, while you continue waging war over other places..."

Hye started explaining everything in great detail to Legend, Sara, Olana, and Luca. The four of them were ready and instantly moved to pick out their warriors and ships.

When they asked Hye if he needed any, the latter shook his head in refusal. To Hye, he could summon this army tens of times and more. They were all cultivators, with many at higher bases than common folks here.

Then the war started.

Four different armies moved fast, hit faster, and controlled bases like a tsunami. Hye was always informed of their success by messengers, moved fast to support their controlled bases, filling them with warriors, ships, and his special elite warriors; Soulers and Reapers.

To Hye, he was like a bottomless pit of warriors and ships. To the onlookers, this looked like a disastrous situation.

Everyone watching what Hye intended to do knew how futile this approach was. The Outer Battlefield had a long history of such foolish people, who thought themselves mighty and capable enough to take over many bases without worrying about anything else.

But the main problem each faced was how limited their overall forces were. Even if they came from mighty races, even if they came prepared, their numbers were never enough to maintain their grip over so many bases.

Their greed caused them to lose everything.

But this wasn’t Hye’s problem.

Hye showed an ability to summon forth tons of warriors, all looking strong and menacing to the onlookers. He didn’t stop there, and he left tons of weapons and ships to help the forces defend their base.

In the eyes of any onlooker, any base looked as if it were ready to face a hard siege for a long time and survive. To the onlookers, they knew these bases were considered lost to the humans.

Yet many doubted Hye’s ability to maintain such a scary performance for much longer. And Hye simply proved them wrong in the following days.

His forces kept attacking bases one after another, and Hye kept supplying tons of warriors and ships to each of these bases.

In a few days, he controlled over forty bases, much more than he initially thought. The main reason for that was thanks to the fear other bases closer to the ones he targeted had of his powers and prowess.

So they foolishly decided to attack and help the few defending forces in each neighbouring base, ending up losing miserably and endangering their bases.

This turned into a trend in the initial three days, forcing Hye to deploy separate Soulers and Reapers armies, sending them to flank the hostile forces and help the main four armies he sent to take over the bases.

The end result was for Hye to gain more bases easily, and more races and powers in the Outer Battlefield to lose their control and firm grasp over their bases.

The situation turned from bad to worse for them, from good to better for Hye. and Eventually, all the forces and races in the Outer Battlefield welcoming zone stopped these foolish attempts, ending up watching Hye’s forces claim more weak bases and fully enforcing them.

By the fifth day, the first destroyed base forces returned from the depths of the Outer Battlefield. Enraged by what happened to their base in this world, they mindlessly attacked Hye’s forces stationed at their race’s base, mistaking this as a normal foolish attempt by a newly arrived strong individual and a force from the main universe.

Least to their knowledge, they were walking into a trap, fighting a losing battle. Once the foolish forces in this zone stopped harassing his forces, Hye decided to station his scattered mighty warriors around key spots, watching over the entire zone, and waiting for any new enemy to arise and kill them.

Once the first returned forces appeared and attacked, the closest mightiest warrior army moved and hit them from behind.

The fight was fierce, and the struggle was short-lived. The hostile force got crushed in less than half a day, and the first defensive battle was brilliantly and easily won by Hye.

He didn’t even have time to return and help in this battle. By the time he arrived at that battle location, the fight was over, and the base was secured.
