[You know the Bodhisattva’s Dharma power is boundless, and you also know that the protective divine art bestowed by the Buddha from your dream will sooner or later fade away. Further resistance would be useless.]

[Now you are wholeheartedly devoted to the Buddha and only wish to properly submit to the Bodhisattva. Since both of you will be disciples under the Bodhisattva from now on, then naturally you should get close to each other…]

[You are willing to help Senior Brother White Elephant complete the Bodhisattva’s Dharma decree ahead of time, while Senior Brother White Elephant only needs to show a little care for his newly joined Junior Brother and answer your questions.]

[Upon hearing this, the White Elephant Demon narrowed its tiny eyes flashing with ferocity and secretly thought, This strange dragon demon is an unheard-of rare demon beast, and it is protected by a great divine art. The truth is most likely as it says, a little mountain demon raised by some Buddha.]

[It is just that before it was fully tamed and brought out, our Bodhisattva happened to encounter it. Seeing such a strange demon creature, the Bodhisattva naturally took a liking to it and secretly abducted it back.]

[The Bodhisattva instructed it to quickly convert this strange dragon demon, likely because she feared the original owner would discover it and come demanding it back, so she intends to cook the rice into cooked rice and make this strange dragon demon obediently acknowledge a new master.]

[At that time, even if the original owner comes to the door, upon seeing that the strange dragon demon is already sincerely serving the Bodhisattva, and after the Bodhisattva gives a few small favors, they will most likely go along with the situation, complete the good deed, and no longer pursue the matter.]

[Thinking of it this way, everything seems perfectly reasonable.]

[The fact that the Bodhisattva was willing to use such means of clever seizure and plunder shows that she thinks highly of this strange dragon demon and truly likes this rare creature from the bottom of her heart.]

[If it offends this strange dragon demon too badly right now, then once this fellow submits to the Bodhisattva, it will surely whisper in the Bodhisattva’s ear by her side every day, sow discord, and make things difficult for it.]

[At this thought, the White Elephant Demon unconsciously loosened its grip on the lotus iron hammer. Just as it was about to nod in agreement, it felt that suddenly turning humble after being overbearing would make it lose face.]

[It stiffened its face and said in a deep voice, Whatever questions you have in your heart, speak them. But if you ask something you shouldn’t, don’t blame the iron hammer in my hands for having no sense of restraint!]

[The White Elephant Demon frowned, instantly growing wary as it said, Why are you asking that?!]

[You immediately put on an earnest expression and said, Senior Brother White Elephant does not understand. In the mortal world, there is a saying: if you do a trade, love the trade. From now on, you are the Bodhisattva’s mount beneath her. Naturally, you have to think about how to serve the Bodhisattva better.]

[If you do not even know how many disciples there are under the Bodhisattva’s seat, or how many rivals there are, how could you ever compete for favor against the others?]

[So, not only do you need to know what disciples and subordinate gods the Bodhisattva has under her seat, you also need to learn their style of conduct, strength realms, and all sorts of details from their pasts. Only by targeting them precisely and prescribing the right remedy can you squeeze out those rivals and make the Bodhisattva favor only the two of you.]

[Senior Brother White Elephant, from now on we are family. Family should not speak as outsiders. I was brought in by Senior Brother White Elephant, so the two of us should naturally stand on the same front. That way we won’t be neglected, and the Bodhisattva’s favor won’t fall elsewhere.]

[For disciples, if they cannot obtain the Bodhisattva’s favor, what difference is there between them and trash?]

[The White Elephant Demon looked astonished when it heard this and muttered, I thought that as long as I worked diligently to complete the Bodhisattva’s Dharma decrees, I would gain the Bodhisattva’s favor… so there were actually this many twists and turns hidden in it?]

[You nodded and said, Of course. Completing the Bodhisattva’s Dharma decrees is certainly an indispensable part, but if all you know is how to bury your head in hard work without knowing how to claim merit and please the Bodhisattva, then you will never rise.]

[Look, the Bodhisattva entrusted the important task of converting me to Senior Brother White Elephant rather than giving it to the other disciple subordinate gods. This shows that Senior Brother White Elephant carries considerable weight in the Bodhisattva’s heart as well. Once the two of you join forces, if the two of you claim second place among the disciple subordinate gods in this dojo in the future, then no one will dare claim first!]

[Hearing this, the White Elephant Demon let out a proud laugh and said in its muffled voice, I never expected that although you, this strange dragon demon, look rather ugly, your eyesight would actually be good…]

[Right now, all the other disciples in the dojo have gone to the Eternal Stillness Pure Land to listen to the Great Silence Manifest Buddha preach the scriptures and expound the Dharma.]

[Among the disciples, only it remains here to guard the dojo. The Bodhisattva entrusted it with the great responsibility of guarding the dojo, and now she has entrusted it with the task of converting you as well. The Bodhisattva naturally values it greatly…]

[You could not help but freeze, and blurted out, Then the Great Silence Manifest Buddha’s preaching and Dharma exposition must be very important, right?]

[The White Elephant Demon gave you a strange look and said somewhat disdainfully, You don’t even know that? The Great Silence Manifest Buddha’s preaching and Dharma exposition only happens once every thousand years. By listening to the great Buddha preach and expound the Dharma, insights naturally arise in one’s heart, and one’s Dharma power also makes considerable progress. Of course it is incomparably important!]

“No wonder the whole family went traveling and only left one little fool like you at home to guard the place, and you’re still proud of it. You really are hardworking and complaint-free…”

Then, on second thought, if the whole dojo only had the White Elephant Demon left, would that not make it even more convenient for him to act!

The place he was currently in was the Great Dark Endless Delusion Bodhisattva’s dojo, the Bodh Gaya Chan Dojo, located in the Land of True Reward and Solemn Adornment, one of the Four Lands within Western Pure Bliss Heaven.

The Bodhisattvas and Buddhas living in the Land of True Reward and Solemn Adornment were all Eternal True Gods who had attained the second fruit rank, Sakrdagamin.

The Four Lands of Pure Bliss Heaven corresponded respectively to four fruit ranks. The Land Where Ordinary and Saints Dwell Together housed some Living Buddhas with great wisdom-root, or Immortal gods who had already attained the fourth fruit rank of Arhat.

After that came the Land of Expedient Surplus, corresponding to the third fruit rank, Anagamin, that is, Immortal+ grade gods.
