He reached out and plucked the snow-white fruit from a branch of the Magical Little Tree.

The moment Lin Li plucked the egg-sized fruit, a tantalizing aroma, just like always, emanated from the snow-white orb and quickly wafted in all directions.

"GULP."

Lin Li swallowed hard. Without any further hesitation, he popped the egg-sized fruit into his mouth.

"CRUNCH, CRUNCH."

After finishing the Magical Little Fruit, and learning from his past experiences with them, Lin Li immediately lay down.

’Bring it on! I should be able to stay conscious this time...’ Lin Li muttered, though he wasn’t entirely confident.

As the Magical Little Fruit settled in his stomach, a massive, warm current instantly surged through Lin Li’s body.

The moment he felt this massive influx of Spiritual Energy, Lin Li immediately braced himself.

’Damn it... failed again.’ He hadn’t been absorbing the massive influx of Spiritual Energy for more than a few moments before his face flushed beet red. Then, just like every other time, he passed out, filled with frustration.

His decision to lie on the grass beforehand proved to be the right one. Unlike the previous times, he didn’t take a hard fall when he passed out.
