A young man in his early twenties had piled his table high with food. Just by looking at the sheer volume, you could tell it was enough for five grown men. And yet, there was only one person at the table.

The other diners sitting at the surrounding tables saw the mountain of food on his table.

They couldn’t help but think to themselves, ’This guy grabbed so much at once. There’s no way he can finish it all. The restaurant is definitely going to take his deposit.’

However, a moment later, the other diners were left completely stunned.

They watched as the young man rapidly devoured the entire spread—the one that looked like enough to feed five grown men.

And even after clearing a table’s worth of food, he still wore an expression that said he wasn’t quite finished.

Then they watched him get up, head back to the buffet stations, and return with even more food to continue eating.

After eating a huge amount of food, Lin Li was finally full. He picked up a glass of iced soda from the table, chugged it in one go, and let out a long sigh, muttering to himself.

Lin Li took three packs of frozen dumplings and a bag of beef balls he’d bought from a hot pot place out of his freezer. It took him a little while, but he cooked all of it.

After a simple dinner, he washed the dishes, cleaned up the kitchen, and rested in the living room for a bit before entering the Mysterious Small Island.

On the eastern side of the mist-shrouded Mysterious Small Island, a young man in a tank top and beach shorts stood barefoot, methodically tilling the land with a hoe.

After several hours of work, Lin Li had expanded the originally fifty-square-meter plot of farmland tenfold.

He picked the last of the weeds from the tilled soil and tossed them aside. Leaning on his hoe with his left hand, Lin Li wiped the sweat from his brow with his right and let out a long breath.

Once he was finished with the fields, Lin Li headed to the northern side of the Mysterious Small Island to check on the fruit trees he had planted.

He had previously planted peach, pear, apple, loquat, cherry, lychee, orange, and yangmei trees on the northern side of the island.

The saplings, which had originally been only thirty to forty centimeters tall, had thrived over this period, now standing at a height of about one and a half meters.

After watering each of the fruit trees, Lin Li went to the southern side of the island before leaving the Mysterious Small Island to check on the Spirit Plant from the Spirit Realm.
