Inside a black 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria sedan, the song Empire State of Mind blasted at full volume as they drove away from Manhattan Island.

Inside were three people: a rookie agent showing off his gift for rap, or at least trying to. There was also a young man in dark sunglasses who didn't ruin the atmosphere as he moved his body to the rhythm, and finally, Agent K, who was on the verge of exploding.

J – "Labor Day Parade rest in peace, Bob Marley

Kong of Liberty, long live the World Trade

Long live the king, yo I'm from the Empire State, that's"

J pointed at Allen so he could continue the song.

Allen – "In New York-"

K immediately shut off the music without giving them a chance to continue.

"Come on, K, that was the best part!"

"So that's it, old man? You don't like music?"

K gritted his teeth. If it were only J, he could scold him or even beat him senseless, but with Allen participating, all he could do was bite down hard.

This was his punishment for messing with Allen: an entire day where Allen would accompany them on their daily activities. It sounded simple, but K was already on the verge of snapping, and not even an hour had passed.

K was a stoic man, a calm man, a man capable of facing the end of the world with composure—but not even someone like him could survive Allen. When Allen truly put his mind to it, he could probably anger Buddha himself.

"If you two keep this up, I'm going to drive us off a cliff..." K said indifferently.

"Okay, easy there, brother—" J raised his hands nervously, knowing better than to push this grumpy old man too far.

Allen, on the other hand, mocked him.

"Go ahead. You don't have the balls, K."

"Oh no, man, this guy absolutely has the balls!" J exclaimed.

Allen gave a thumbs-up and smiled like a complete bastard.

"Don't worry. I'll be fine even if he does."

"But I won't!"

K felt his tie tightening around his neck. For the first time in his life, he regretted messing with someone. He should've ignored anything related to Allen Walker, but instead, here he was—completely at Allen's mercy.

Alert

A light on the dashboard lit up, causing K's eyes to sharpen. He touched the console, and a holographic screen appeared.

"Hey, that's not how it's supposed to look! Where are my classic retro-futuristic little monitors?!" Allen complained.

For someone who had seen the original Men in Black, this unnecessary modernization felt like an offense. But logically speaking, since the original movie came out in 1997, it would be absurd for them not to upgrade in a world with Tony Stark-level technology.

The same thing had happened with the Republic ships Allen had seen, leaving him unsatisfied since they lacked that charming old-school futuristic aesthetic that a sci-fi world imagined by someone from the last century should have.

K ignored Allen and checked the screen, which was scanning a vehicle ahead of them.

"Work," K said, as though field duty was somehow enjoyable for the first time in years.

There were no sirens.

K's vehicle sent a signal to the car ahead, which promptly stopped.

Allen was disappointed. He had been hoping for a high-speed chase where the sedan would transform into a flying car or something.

But when he got a better look at the vehicle in front of them, he was surprised.

Inside were a suburban-looking Caucasian man and woman with completely ordinary appearances.

But to Allen, they couldn't hide their true identities.

They were disguised aliens.

What was truly surprising was that their human-sized bodies could somehow contain their real forms.

The three men exited the vehicle.

"Walker, you're an observer, so do nothing," K warned.

Allen raised his hands with a shameless grin.

"Relax, I'll just watch. Promise."

K narrowed his eyes suspiciously but continued with his work.

"J, wait for orders."

"Understood, boss," J said, putting on his sunglasses.

K sighed and shook his head. He was getting too old to deal with young people like these.

Then, with professionalism, he approached the driver's side window.

"Sir, license and registration."

"Y-yes," said the man inside the vehicle, handing them over to K.

The license was an ordinary one.

"Your other license and registration."

The man hesitated for a moment before complying, clearly nervous.

All aliens had double identities to blend in unnoticed.

"I don't understand why an alien would choose New York to move to..." Allen casually commented.

J agreed.

A planet would have to be seriously messed up for someone to willingly choose to live here.

"Reggie, this says you're confined to Manhattan Island. Where were you headed in such a hurry?"

Reggie looked at Allen, then J, then K.

He was visibly nervous, as though he were running from something, but he refused to admit it.

"I-it's not me... i-it's my wife."

"Ahh! Ahhh!"

In the back seat, a woman was in labor.

She appeared to be suffering constant contractions, indicating she was about to give birth.

"I guess for an alien, that was a valid excuse," Allen smiled.

He wanted to point out that this didn't exactly seem like a valid excuse to leave New York. On the contrary, taking your wife on a road trip while she was actively giving birth seemed like the last thing any man should do.

K understood what Allen was implying and wanted to question Reggie further. But first, they had to help the "woman."

"Ahh!" The woman had bloodshot eyes and foam at the mouth, as if she wanted to rip someone's head off.

Seeing this, K sighed as though he wanted nothing to do with it, but then quickly remembered he had a rookie at his disposal. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

"Reggie, come with me. Agent J, handle this."

J immediately grew nervous and looked at Allen.

"Bro, please tell me you know something about alien childbirth."

"Sorry. I know nothing about that."

"Didn't you have alien girlfriends?!"

"Yeah, but generally, they're all pretty similar to human women." Allen patted him on the shoulder.

J widened his eyes while looking at the woman in the vehicle.

She seemed fairly human to him.

But Allen simply smiled and stepped back.

"It can't be that hard. Just go in there and, you know... pull out whatever's in there."

"Shit, something smells bad..." J approached the window while the woman screamed in pain. "Listen, ma'am, breathe like me. Hee hee hoo—"

"Hee hee AHHH!"

Allen blinked while eating peanuts.

"Maybe I should mention she's actually a species of giant squid."

"A WHAT?!"

The instant J got distracted, a tentacle the size of a telephone pole grabbed him and violently shook him around.

"Ahhh! Help me!"

"Sorry, I'm forbidden from doing anything," Allen said as he watched the situation unfold.

Like a cameraman, he couldn't interfere—only watch nature take its course.

"It's a dangerous job," Bocchi said beside him.

The tentacle pulled J into the vehicle and flung him out the other side.

Then it repeated the process before finally throwing him out again.

But he wasn't alone.

Allen approached, witnessing the miracle of life.

It was like a bizarre combination of a baby and an octopus... or squid.

"It's born!" J exclaimed. "It's a beautiful... squid?"

"Maybe you shouldn't—"

The baby vomited on J before Allen could finish warning him.

....

The patrol continued for several more hours, during which Allen saw countless ordinary-looking people revealed to be aliens.

There were all kinds, from anthropomorphic creatures resembling humanoid animals to beings completely unlike anything that had ever evolved on Earth.

In general, the MIB functioned like police officers.

They simply ensured these aliens followed the laws and did not reveal their identities. However, K mentioned this could soon change.

After all, following the Chitauri invasion, it had become impossible to hide the existence of aliens. Even more so with Earth's integration into the Republic. It was possible they would no longer need to hide.

Still, it remained uncertain whether ordinary people could instantly adapt to treating a three-meter-tall slug like a physics professor.

All of this made Allen reflect.

These strange world changes were absurd to him. None of this should exist. But for everyone else, things had always been this way.

That made it difficult to decide.

Was it even worth returning the world to how it originally was?

'What an annoying situation... Whatever. It may be selfish, but as long as it doesn't negatively affect the world—or more importantly, me or the girls—it doesn't matter.'

....

The standard patrol concluded with a call from Z. He instructed K to investigate an unauthorized landing on the outskirts.

They set off, and half an hour later, they arrived at a farm outside the city.

K and J went directly to speak with the farm's owner. Allen, however, did not join them. Instead, he directed his gaze toward a very obvious crater.

"Well, well, well... Just as I expected. Edgar the Bug is already here," Allen smiled.

The villain from the first movie was an Exomorphic Orthopteran—a giant malicious cockroach from a planet called Hiveworld.

While Allen thought this, J and K exited the woman's house. Apparently, they had Neuralyzed her.

"..." K wore a grave expression.

According to the woman, Edgar had been acting very strangely. He had asked for water with a lot of sugar, and his skin seemed to wrinkle unnaturally.

K pulled out a scanner as he descended into the crater. J had no idea what was going on, but Allen smiled.

"I'll bet you twenty bucks it's an insect."

"An insect? What do you mean?" J looked at Allen in confusion.

He was still new to aliens and didn't know much.

Allen laughed. "J, just imagine aliens like a giant version of Earth, except instead of primates winning the evolutionary race, some other species did—birds, sea creatures, reptiles... and of course, insects."

J widened his eyes and looked at K. "Hey, how is it possible he explains things better than you do?"

K ignored J while his scanner attempted to identify the creature.

He desperately hoped it wasn't an insect.

Allen shrugged. "J, I only gave you one example. Reality is far more complex. Just as there are alien races exactly like I described, there are also many that are very similar to humans, some practically identical. If we were in a fantasy world, it would be like elves or dwarves. But there are also aliens so different they look like something straight out of Lovecraft's nightmares."

"Hey, don't scare me."

"I'm not, I'm just preparing you."

K came out of the crater with a tired look. It was obvious he had discovered that Edgar was an insect.

"Is it really that bad?" Harley asked, appearing on Allen's shoulder. This startled J, but he quickly remembered who he was with.

K looked at the doll-sized girl. He had seen enough in his life not to be surprised.

"Pests. Most insectoid alien species are the worst visitors. Their reproduction rate is the highest among all species, their method of invasion is the most brutal of all. They wipe out all life on planets, consume every resource, and then move on to another world."

"Shit, that sounds terrifying~" Harley said, though she wasn't scared. "But daddy wouldn't let that happen~"

K and J looked at Allen. It was true that regardless of his shameless and relaxed personality, this guy usually handled apocalypses.

J calmed down. He had completely forgotten he was alongside Allen Walker... or so he thought. Unfortunately, they couldn't find Edgar for the rest of the day, so they would have to continue the next day without Allen.

Allen laughed, but he gave J a pat on the shoulder, telling him he would do fine because he had the potential to become a great MIB agent.

The system and the dolls asked Allen if it was really okay for him not to capture Edgar himself, but he simply shrugged. If he wanted, he could find the giant cockroach instantly and annihilate it, but that would rob J of his chance to establish himself as an MIB agent.

Of course, if due to the world's changes, J and K failed, he would intervene immediately.

But until then, he would simply observe.

Later that night, at home, Allen looked out the window at the great city.

[I'm surprised you've matured.]

"With great power comes great responsibility. That's even more true in my case."

"If I wanted, I could change the world according to my will. I could conquer, destroy, or recreate the entire universe, but it just doesn't feel right. Is that strange?"

[No, on the contrary, it makes me respect you more.]

"Thanks."

From behind, Gwen approached Allen and wrapped her arms around him.

"Are you worried about the world?"

"A little, but I think people can adapt to anything. I'll first see if these changes are acceptable. If not... then I'll do something."

Gwen smiled.

"Where's the guy who loved sticking his head into all the world's problems?"

Allen turned around, embraced Gwen, and smiled shamelessly.

"I seem to remember I was always dragged into problematic things more than doing it by my own will, Miss Stacy."

As he kissed the cute blonde girl, everything else began to feel secondary. Allen had two paths: become the ruler of everything and bear the weight of the world, or be a discreet guardian and only intervene when the situation truly required it.

Allen didn't want to turn his world into his property, so he chose the latter.

However, the system, which had always observed in silence, began to worry, because Allen himself seemed unaware of the changes he had undergone. Beyond that, it seemed even his own perception of his strength had been altered.

[I hope nothing happens...]

....

The next day, while Allen was riding the subway with Sue, it suddenly began transforming into a malevolent ghostly entity, and the tunnel turned into a portal to hell.

But before anyone could notice, Allen moved.

Due to Allen's perception, everything happened within a millionth of a second.

From his feet, his reiatsu expanded. His suffocating pressure was unleashed, but it avoided every single person in the subway. Such terrifying and perfect control that no captain of the Soul Society could achieve it, not even in Squad Zero.

Skreeeee!

A chilling scream echoed.

The entity, sensing danger, tried to attack Allen, but it couldn't even get close before being pierced by Crown Saber under Allen's indifferent gaze.

This creature was something formed from malicious intent and resentment, not a wandering soul.

'Now even malevolent entities...'

Allen shook his head.

"Is something wrong?" Sue asked.

Allen was slightly surprised. That had happened in an instant, so brief that no one should have noticed.

Sue wasn't a mutant, nor any kind of supernatural being, entity, or latent mage. She was just a normal girl.

"How did you notice?" Allen smiled.

"Your brow furrowed for half a second," she said with her blue eyes, which rarely blinked whenever she was looking at Allen.

An inferior man might have been frightened by this behavior, since it indicated that this girl paid attention to even his slightest facial changes, but Allen instead gently patted her head.

After leaving the subway, the two headed to the museum.

Not for any special reason, it was simply a casual outing between friends. Of course, it could also be considered an unofficial date, and they would use it to get to know each other better.

They went through the museum, and Allen found it amusing when he saw a section dedicated to Captain America and his great role in the war, which was honestly hilarious.

"Imagine in the middle of a war, with soldiers firing everywhere, a guy in flashy blue tights with a shield suddenly appears. Someone really should've thought that through better."

The others looked at Allen awkwardly.

It was true, but no one would dare say it out loud out of respect. After all, Captain America wasn't just a war hero, but the first superhero.

"Although rumor has it it was more propaganda, I think Captain America would agree that standing out on the battlefield made bullets target him instead of other soldiers."

People agreed with Sue.

Even Allen admitted that it was a pretty good excuse for dressing like that.

Sue was a peculiar girl. Her attitude was calm, while Allen was the type to say things without a filter.

Allen noticed Sue silently looking at him, so he remained quiet for a second before realizing that the girl wanted praise.

"Oh, you're very smart. That's true," he smiled.

Sue smiled back.

Her smile made her look even prettier, so much so that several men were momentarily stunned.

Allen laughed and took her by the hand, pulling her out of that boring museum.

He took her to the movies, bowling, the game center, and they ended up eating hamburgers.

Throughout the entire outing, most interactions were initiated by Allen.

At first, he thought she simply wasn't the type to talk much, but he noticed something peculiar: this girl always responded almost immediately to his comments.

So it wasn't a lack of interest in conversation.

Allen leaned against the table.

"Sue, if you feel uncomfortable because of who I am, just say it."

Sue stopped drinking her milkshake and widened her eyes before looking slightly panicked.

"No, that's not it!"

Sue, being quite intelligent, understood what Allen thought. Though it embarrassed her a little, she decided to confess.

"I was never very social... I'm afraid of saying something that might push you away."

Allen observed Sue.

This girl wore pants, sneakers, and a hoodie. She didn't look like someone on a date, but Allen didn't care.

Regardless of her clothes, Sue was a pretty girl.

But now he understood that more than anything, she was socially awkward.

Allen felt curious about what past experiences had made Sue this way.

Because of her personality, Allen had to take the initiative, so he held her hand and took her for a walk through Times Square before eventually taking her home.

Although antisocial, she wasn't shy, because she squeezed Allen's hand as if she didn't want to let go.

....

Sue entered her room.

That room was filled with photos of Allen, a place that would give anyone chills.

She lay down on her bed with a flushed face, unsure whether everything had been real or just a dream.

She looked at her hand, the same hand that had been in contact with Allen's for nearly an hour.

She bit her lip and slowly ran her hand across her own body until reaching her intimate area.

"..." she gasped.

"Sis, I came to visit you!" a boy exclaimed as he loudly entered her apartment.

Sue immediately sat up, her eyes flashing coldly at being interrupted.

Still, she sighed, calmed down, and got out of bed.

"Sue? Where are you? I brought snacks!"

"I'm coming, Johnny..."

Johnny Storm, her younger brother, was Sue's complete opposite: an extroverted idiot who loved street racing, nightclubs, and wild fraternity parties.

The siblings were like water and oil, but as they say, blood is thicker than water, so they got along reasonably well.

"Hey sis? Why do you have that bat? Hey, calm down! Don't do anything stupid! Ahhh!"

....

As for Allen, he arrived home to find Kate, Eve, Amanda, and Anissa visiting.

All four were in relationships with him, so Allen knew it would be a difficult night.

Anissa was a Viltrumite.

Amanda was practically She-Hulk.

Kate could clone herself.

And somehow, Eve had learned how to restore her energy.

So facing these four had its challenges.

Unfortunately for them, they were facing an unrestricted Allen, which made the battle impossible.

Using time dilation, one night turned into three days, during which a black-haired, red-eyed girl could be heard cursing Allen and his perverted women.

A/N: I've never understood where this belief comes from that aliens have a habit of shoving things up people's butts. 🍷🗿
