But first, Ben had a plan he was going to implement going forward, not just to cement his position in the estate and world, but to carefully expand his influence in this world.

If he becomes influential enough, the risks and possibility of his secrets being found out would be that much reduced.

The power of influence and connections cannot be overstated....

Ben learned this back in his world, where on multiple occasions it was thanks to how influential he was that had kept him alive for so long, even though he was actively indulging in other men’s territories.

And what does this world lack?
