- Felix -

The three of us continued to chat for a little longer before I left. Saeko seemed to be doing fine, so I was glad.

Now for the last stop before going back to the world of Solo Leveling, Tempest.

I had already let Rimuru know that I was stopping by earlier since he didn’t give me a chance to on the call. I decided to keep the reason a surprise though.

From what he told me, he and Shizu hadn’t known each other long, but she was close to him. She was part of what inspired him to do what he was doing in this world. She was why he was taking such a hard stance against otherworlder summonings.

She was the root cause of a lot of his actions in this world, and all because he thought that people like her deserved more.

When I arrived in Tempest, the atmosphere was its usual blend of lively and as peaceful as always. There were people of all races talking and hanging out with each other, Humans included.

I could see plenty of Adventurers going around as well.

I had used Falsifier to disguise myself as my identity and looks were well known.

I sent a Thought Communication to Rimuru.

"Felix! Are you here?" Rimuru immediately answered.

"I am."

"Great. I’m in The Dungeon on the floor where you made the portals."

"I’ll be there soon, then."

With that, I teleported to The Dungeon, or more specifically the hidden warehouse where the portals to the kids’ worlds were.

"Felix! There you are." Rimuru said from behind me.

It was just the two of us here right now.

"I just came back from visiting their worlds." He explained.

I nodded in understanding.

"How’d that go."

Rimuru sighed. "It was troublesome, but worth it."

He went on to explain that he had to go to the parents of each kid individually and explain the situation to them, which wasn’t easy.

At first all of them thought he was a crazy guy that had kidnapped their children, since at this point their kids had been gone for a long time.

So he had to show them magic, but that brought up a whole lot more issues, and it just spiraled from there.

Eventually Rimuru managed to tell them everything that they needed to know about their kids and what they had gone through. It took a few trips, but he managed. He had only just finished wrapping everything up when I called him from the Solo Leveling world.

Rimuru said that parents were extremely happy and in tears once everything was settled.

Rimuru did a bunch of wide scale magic to make sure that no questions would be asked, like where the kids had gone and whatnot. So for all intents and purposes, the kids could go back to their normal lives if they wanted to.

I was glad everything was sorted out on that end, or at least mostly sorted out.

Rimuru would still have to go back and forth for a few days to make sure that there were no odd reactions to the kids from the people around them. Rimuru sealed off their energy, but he wanted to be safe, which is why he wasn’t coming back with me.

The kids were staying back in their home worlds for now, but Rimuru gave them an artifact based on the item I gave him to allow us to communicate between worlds, so the kids could contact him at any time.

All of them expressed interest in going between worlds. They did build up a life here, had friends, and whatnot. They didn’t want to abandon everything.

Their parents were less certain, but he said they were just happy to have their kids back and were interested in the world that their kids had lived in. He said he’d give them time to decide since they still were in shock.

He did make them sign a contract, but he basically scammed them into doing so, not explaining anything about how the contracts were literally soul binding. Very Daemon-like.

"At least they got to go back home." Rimuru said with a sigh as he led me deeper into The Dungeon.

"Yeah, you did right by them. I’m sure Shizu would be glad."

Rimuru nodded and gave me an appreciative smile.

As we teleported to another floor I asked, "How are my not-kids doing?"

He gave me a look before responding. "The same old. They seem to just be enjoying life. No real ego has developed in any of them."

I nodded, not thinking much further on it. "What about Veldora and Ramiris? Are they going to be coming?"

Rimuru snorted. "Do you know them? Of course they are."

"Yeah, that’s about what I expected."

Once we were on the deepest Floor in Rimuru’s personal office area he sat down and looked at me. "Now what did you need? You said it was important?"

"It is." I held my palm out as a glowing orb appeared floating above it.

"Am I supposed to know what that is?" He drawled out.

"These are a bunch of memories."

I did get to see all of Shizu’s memories thanks to recreating it. It’s honestly astounding how autistic Leon can be, and I’m not even insulting him this time.

It was no wonder that Shizu wanted to see him again, for closure if nothing else.

Rimuru’s eyes widened as he realized what I was hinting at. "You were able to do it!?" He asked with excitement.

I nodded. "I was, though we will need a Pseudo Soul to house all of this."

I still couldn’t make a real soul, but I could make parts of it and use technology as an intermediary to make an artificial soul of sorts.

The main thing I struggled to create with souls wasn’t the ego, or the core, or anything else. It was something a bit more abstract that I couldn’t figure out.

If I tried to make a soul as I was now, there would no doubt be something defective about it. But the Pseudo Souls only needed a core with memories to work, which I could easily create.

Then the Pseudo Soul did the rest. This wasn’t a real soul either, so the souls it resulted in were also defective, just not as defective.

Unlike what I was expecting, he seemed hesitant all of a sudden.

"Something the matter?"

He sighed. "Shizu said that she didn’t want to return to a war-torn world. Isn’t it a bit selfish to bring her back just because we can?"

"She also said she wanted to see the world you’d create. I think she’ll be pleasantly surprised with how peaceful the Western Nations have become ignoring the most recent attack on Ruberious."

Rimuru clenched his fists. "But the Eastern Empire... I don’t want to bring her back just as we’re preparing to go to war. It feels... cruel."

Eventually he sighed, pushing the orb of memories away from him. "No, I don’t think it’s right to bring her back when we are about to go to war."

I shrugged. "It’s your choice." I threw the ball of memories at him. "Keep this for now, at least."

He nodded and stored the memories in his Stomach.

I didn’t have much of an opinion on Rimuru’s choice. In the end, Shizu was his friend. Even if she agreed in the weird mental soul space we were inside, he knew her better than I did.

If he thought it was wrong to bring her back now, then so be it.

"That was really it then."

Rimuru nodded. "Thanks for everything, Felix. I mean it."

I waved him off. "No need for that. We’re friends, right?"

He grinned. "Right. Now leave before Ramiris or Veldora get a whiff of you. They’ll want to go back to the other world with you, and I don’t want them there on their own without my supervision."

I rolled my eyes. "You’re treating them like children."

He crossed his arms. "That’s because they act like children!"

I smiled. "That’s fair. I’ll see you then. I’ll be coming back in a few days to pick up Luminous and Hinata. Should I come for you as well?"

Rimuru looked thoughtful before shaking his head. "No, I still want some more time to make sure everything is fine with the kids."

I shrugged. "Suit yourself."

We continued to speak for a bit longer, with me telling Rimuru in a bit more detail what I was doing in the world of Solo Leveling.

He also seemed interested in the cosmology of that world, but not to a super high degree.

Once we were done, I teleported to the last place I wanted to visit before leaving again, the Beast Kingdom of Eurazania. Kurumi was here, so I wanted to pay her a visit before leaving.

Despite my relationship with her being the least close when compared to all of my retinue, minus maybe Sukuna and Ingvild, I did still care for her and wanted to make sure she was doing fine.

It had only been a few days since I left, but she was still coming to terms with the status of her mother’s killer and the reasons behind the massacre of her village, among other things.

Plus I wanted to make sure she was being treated well by the people of Eurazania.

I appeared floating above the reconstructed capital of Carrion’s country. I allowed my Aura to fan out throughout the city, enough for people to feel it, but nothing to cause any actual harm.

Within moments Kurumi was floating in front of me. "Master!" She greeted me as she jumped at me, transforming into her cute little fox form midair and landing on my shoulder.

I chuckled as she nestled into the crook of my neck. "Turning into a furball the second you get excited, huh?"

Kurumi huffed through her tiny nose. "It’s faster than flying sometimes! And I know you like it."

"Not wrong." I said, gently scratching behind her ear. She purred softly in response, her tails swaying lazily behind her. I could still feel that her tails were being used to control her power, so Kurumi hadn’t improved much on that front. But I knew her; she’d get it down at some point.

She was also very cute in this form, I could admit that much.

After a few moments I heard Carrion boom in front of me. "Lord Felix." He said as he dipped his head.

I nodded back. "Carrion."

"I was led to believe that you would be away for quite some time."

I shrugged. "I just came back to check on things and heard Kurumi was here, so I wanted to see how she was doing."

Carrion nodded. "I understand. Would you allow me to host you in my palace?"

"His palace is rather nice, Master. Nothing compared to yours, but the food is good!" Kurumi commented. Carrion didn’t even twitch at the subtle diss either.

"That sounds great. I won’t be here for long, though."

Carrion nodded before he began descending down towards his palace. I followed along.

As we touched down, a few of the Beastmen guards bowed low to us. Carrion gave them a nod, and they stepped aside wordlessly.

Carrion led us into the palace, before long he led us into a private chamber near the back of the palace. It was a more personal lounge, with wide open windows showing off the training grounds below and a table that had various bottles of alcohol and other foods.

Kurumi jumped off my shoulder and returned to her humanoid form, gracefully landing beside me.

As we all sat down Kurumi served me a glass of wine and then immediately helped herself to one of the fruit platters.

"I haven’t been here since Milim happened, but it seems your people have recovered rather well."

Carrion winces at the memory of what Milim did here, but he nodded right after. "We are an enduring people, so long as our spirit is not broken, we will continue to work forwards." He said with pride.

The meal was surprisingly pleasant. Despite his gruff demeanor, Carrion knew how to be a good host.

He expressed his appreciation for Kurumi sparring with him here and there. He said that he’d learned far more from those fights than what he had by training alone the last few years.

It seemed like Carrion developed a one-sided rivalry with Kurumi in this case, since Kurumi seemingly only thought of Carrion as someone to fight when she was extremely bored. Those were her own words, but Carrion seemed to already know that since he didn’t react or feel anything at her words.

Kurumi, now seated beside me, munched contentedly on slices of fruit, occasionally glancing my way as if checking to make sure I was still there. It was subtle, but I could tell she appreciated my visit more than she let on.

"I noticed some architecture that’s similar to what I’ve heard of in Frey’s Kingdom." I commented.

Carrion nodded. "Frey has become a good friend. She sent some of her own subordinates to assist with some of the reconstruction."

I raised a brow at the feelings I could feel in him through Lover at the mention of Frey. It seems like someone was in love.

Well good for him.

Carrion, by far, was the direct subordinate I was the most distant with. That was mostly because he had his own territory to manage and didn’t tend to come to me unless he needed something, which was generally how most vassal-lord relationships went.

We all continued to eat, and Kurumi was right; the food was quite good. My main reason for coming was to see how Kurumi was doing, and that objective had been accomplished.

"I just came to see how Kurumi was doing. I’ll be leaving now." I said as I stood up. She had already given me her report via a Thought Communication while we ate.

Arcueid sent her here to make sure no rebellious elements were stirring, since Beastmen were rather unpredictable. They worshipped the strong, but I hadn’t made my presence here known before. So for all intents and purposes, most only knew I was strong by hearsay and nothing more.

Arcueid wanted to make sure that that wasn’t enough reason for some to grow rebellious in this Kingdom. Kurumi was charged to look into things a bit, as due to her nature, she had an easier time seeing through people.

According to Kurumi, Carrion had a tight leash on his people, and he would make sure nothing would challenge me, both due to his respect for my power and his fear of it.

Carrion nodded. "Allow me to escort you out."

Kurumi seemed sad, but she also nodded. "I’ll get stronger so I can come with you next time, Master!" Kurumi said with a firm nod.

"It’s not your strength that’s the reason, but your control. Relying on your tails alone is bound to cause you trouble at some point."

Kurumi pouted but nodded.

Carrion seemed clueless, but he didn’t ask anything.

After another quick goodbye, I teleported back to my territory where Milim was waiting for me. I appeared in front of the training grounds I sent Milim to, only to find Middray, Milim, and Raiden all in front of the portal speaking to one another.

"Well done Raiden. You actually managed to push me there, hohoho." Middray said with a laugh.

Milim nodded. "Umu! You’ve become strong!"

I rolled my eyes at Milim’s praise. Just earlier she called me weak when the current me was still way stronger than Raiden. I guess she had different definitions of strong for different people.

Milim pouted as she turned to me. "Hey Felix! Why’d you give Middray such a cool weapon but not me! I want a gift from my bestie too!"

Raiden immediately turned towards me upon hearing Milim. I was concealing my presence so she hadn’t noticed me before, but I didn’t expect to hide from Milim’s absurd senses.

"Master!" She said in excitement.

I smiled at her. "Raiden, I’ve heard you improved."

She allowed a small but proud smile to form on her face. "Of course!"

"Hohoho, indeed she has!" Middray said from the side before greeting me. "Thank you for these gauntlets, Lord Felix! They are quite wonderful!"

"Don’t get too attached, I have something better in mind for you once I work out the kinks."

"Then I can only thank you." He said with a bow.

"Mou, don’t ignore me!" Milim said as she stomped her foot down, shaking the entire palace.

"I wasn’t ignoring you. I gave those to Middray as a gesture of my appreciation for him. Besides, I already gave you those gauntlets that suppress your power, and you don’t need any actual weapons due to your scimitar."

Milim crossed her arms and pouted, but didn’t make a fuss. She could be a rather jealous person when it came to those who were close to her, which was probably deadly for people who couldn’t handle her.

Thankfully, I knew how to handle her. I summoned a bag of cookies and threw them at her. "Here."

Her eyes widened in excitement. "Cookies, yay!" She said with childish glee.

Despite how she was acting, I knew she was deadly intelligent. She just allowed herself to be childish during moments like these. She knew I meant no harm.

While Milim enjoyed her cookies and spoke with Middray, I turned to Raiden and caught up a bit with her. I made sure she wasn’t training herself to the bone without my presence here to moderate her.

Though she responded that she would never do such a thing since it was against the spirit of my orders.

Her control had improved, I could sense that much, but it was still leaking into the surroundings. Enough so that any normal Human in her presence would just die due to magicule exposure.

I had made sure the territory that I gave her had a lot of greenery and life in it so that Raiden had a good view on her flys, and she said that she appreciated it.

It really was something to see her fully coming into herself, at least when compared to how she was as a Medium Dragon.

Wait... did I technically groom her?

Nah, this is different, and that’s what I would wholeheartedly believe.

She continued to report her activities to me, like how Evelyn’s training was going well. What training exactly Raiden was speaking of I didn’t know since I’m pretty sure Evelyn’s combat skills were far from lacking, but I’d leave that to Raiden. I’m sure she knew what she was doing.

I continued to speak with Raiden about some things for a little while. We ended up relocating with her wanting to serve me food. Arcueid joined us as well.

"This was excellent, Raiden." Arcueid complimented as she put her fork and knife down.

We were eating a Poison Dragon steak, which of course had been purified, but it retained some of the kick a Poison Dragon was known for.

"Thank you." Raiden said with a bow.

"Mmm, she’s right!" Milim said as she stuffed her face. Middray still looked heartbroken at Milim’s preference for cooked meat.

"Kyuu!" Gaia said from the seat beside Milim as he stuffed his face as well.

"Thanks for the food, Raiden. It’s only been a few days and I missed it already!" I said with a laugh.

Raiden seemed to be happy at my comment.

I stood up and looked at Milim. "Now I think we should be leaving. I don’t want to leave Megumin and Sukuna unattended for too long." I said with a shiver.

Arcueid and Raiden nodded.

I also checked in on Ingvild who seemed to be doing just fine. She was preparing for the concert that would be hosted here in my capital city in a couple months, while Damrada was on a job from Arcueid.

"Have a good trip, my Lord." Arcueid said.

"I will make sure everything stays perfect in your absence, Master." Raiden said.

"No need to be so dramatic, Raiden. I’m not going to be gone for a super long time, and we can speak through the rings I gave you all."

Raiden nodded.

"Let me know if you need anything for Dagruel." I told Arcueid who nodded.

With that, I looked at Milim who was holding Gaia once again.

"Ready?"

She nodded, and so I teleported us back to the world of Solo Leveling.

I let out a sigh of relief at seeing the penthouse still standing. I didn’t believe that Megumin and Sukuna would get that out of hand, but it was Megumin and Sukuna. Enough said.

"Hmm, this world feels different!" Milim said as she hopped towards the window. Gaia flew out of Milim’s arm and began to fly around the place at supersonic speeds.

"Don’t break anything!" I yelled after him.

The only response I got was, "Kyuuuuuuuuu!"

I would take that as an affirmative.

"Eh, so this is one of those modern cities you described?" Milim said as she looked out the window.

I nodded as I stood beside her. "It is." It was night time now, so all the city lights were on. The penthouse we were staying at had a good view of Seoul as well.

"It looks kinda like Tempest." Milim commented.

"I think Tempest is well on its way to this level. Also, I don’t think I need to remind you, but maintain perfect control of your power. This world can’t handle a fraction of what the Cardinal World can."

Milim nodded seriously.

"You’re back, Milord!" I heard Megumin yell out from the other side of the penthouse, where the training dimension was situated. Megumin, Sukuna, and Lalatina quickly approached us.

"We are back." I said with a nod.

Just as Megumin was about to respond, Gaia zipped right past her causing Megumin to give him an annoyed look.

"How’d the fight go?"

Megumin smirked. "I won of course."

Sukuna nodded. "Indeed. I learned quite a bit from Lady Megumin."

"Hehe~, you guys were fighting, I want to join too!" Milim said with a grin.

"A fight with you!? Hehe sure!" Megumin said with a worry-free grin, as if she didn’t just agree to fight The Destroyer.

"Do it some other time."

Milim pouted but nodded. "I’ll take you around tomorrow since it’s late here right now. A lot of places aren’t open now."

Milim agreed easily, and so we settled in for the night, with Lalatina joining me in bed.

______________________________________________________________________

"Mmm, this is super good, Felix!" Milim said as she slurped on a bowl of noodles. There was a good amount of street food in this city, and Milim pretty much wanted to try everything we came across.

Right now I was just taking Milim around the city. I had told her a bit about this world like the Hunters, the Associations, the Gates, the Monarchs, and the Rulers.

She was curious about pretty much everything, so I planned to take her to the Association today which was something she wanted, even if I said that they wouldn’t be able to entertain her.

She was more or less just enjoying her time in another world. This was her first time in a completely modern society, after all.

Gaia was flying along with us as well, but I had myself and Gaia under an illusion. Gaia was a bird in other people’s perception, whereas I wasn’t me.

My face and identity were widespread now, after all.

Lalatina, Megumin, and Sukuna had stayed behind for today, seemingly wanting to let Milim enjoy this world without interruption.

The date between Megumin and I was already mostly planned out and would occur in a couple days, just before I went to pick up Luminous and Hinata.

Milim quickly finished her bowl in record time and pointed to another stand down the street with skewers sizzling over open flames.

"Ooh! That smells even better!" She grinned, her eyes sparkling with delight.

"We just ate." I said, but I was already moving in that direction. There was no point in resisting her when she got like this. Plus, who was I to stop her from being childish? We were Demon Lords; we could do what we wanted.

As I followed behind Milim, I let a fond smile form on my face. It was moments like these that were truly the highlights, not epic world shattering fights, or enjoying myself with drop dead gorgeous women. Nah, it was the good times like these with friends.

The vendor gave us a cheerful greeting as Milim practically bounced in place. I gave him a nod, tossing a few bills onto the counter. Even if I was keeping a low profile, it didn’t hurt to be polite.

Plus, I wasn’t going to steal from a guy just making a living; I had standards. Gobta, on the other hand, I’d gladly mug. In fact, I already had mugged him in the past with Milim and Veldora.

As Milim munched happily on a beef skewer, I glanced up at the sky. Gaia gave a small chirp from her illusion-covered perch on a nearby lamppost.

All of a sudden Milim froze. Before I could even tell her to wait, she yelled, "I’m going on a walk, Felix!" Then she boomed off, leaving a shockwave in her wake, and cracking the cement ground.

I sighed. She had just felt the formation of a Gate. I’d felt it too, after all. The gathering of mana was pretty distinct in a world that lacked it, and it seems that it attracted her interest. I could only feel pity for the monsters inside the Gate at this point.

The vendor was staring at where Milim was in shock, Milim very carefully made sure that the shockwave she left wouldn’t destroy his stand, but it seems he was still coming to terms with the fact that a girl that looked no older than 10 just caused a sonic boom.

I threw a couple more bills onto the table in front of him. "For the trouble." I said as the illusion I placed over my form dissipated. Now the vendor was looking at me in shock, but I paid him no mind.

I flew up, grabbed Gaia and then shot off after Milim.

I wasn’t worried about her getting into trouble. She was probably the single most powerful person in this entire universe right now, and despite how she seemed, she wasn’t going to cause wanton destruction. She was far more empathetic than she seemed.

It didn’t take me long to land right in front of the Gate, where a perimeter was already being created. The Gate was glowing a soft blue color, so it hadn’t mutated.

"Sir, this is a restricted a–" The man froze once he saw my face. "Uhm, I’m just going to leave." He said as he slowly stepped back. "Way above my paygrade." I heard him whisper.

Would the wonders of this world ever cease? Humans with common sense? A true miracle that was.

"Sir Felix!" I heard someone call out. I raised a brow at the presence of Jinchul.

"I’m surprised to see you here."

I’m sure I was being monitored to a certain extent, but nothing as direct as having someone following me, so him being here really was just a coincidence.

He quickly nodded. "Yes, my presence is required as this is a high ranking A Rank Gate." He said while looking at Gaia who was still in my arms, oddly.

"This is Gaia." I said introducing him.

He slowly nodded. "Greetings, Gaia."

"Kyuuu!" Gaia chirped back.

"And well, no need to worry about the Gate." I said, waving him off. "A friend of mine went into it. She’ll probably handle it."

"Do you mean the pink haired child?" He asked in confusion. "Everyone has been panicking since they saw a child go through the Gate. We were unable to bring her back either."

"Yup, though don’t call her a child to her face. She’s over 2,000 years old. I won’t be able to stop her if she gets angry."

Jinchul seemingly had no response to that.

I turned to look back at the Gate as it released an unusual pulse of mana. I could only laugh when the edges of the blue Gate begin to turn red.

"It’s becoming a red Gate!" Someone shouted in panic.

Jinchul looked at me in panic, seemingly worried that if something happened to the "child" I brought with me, I’d get angry.

"As I said, no need to worry. Milim will handle it."

- Milim Nava -

She lightly whistled as she walked deeper into this new world. She had sensed the weird portal thingy being formed, and her curiosity got the best of her.

It wasn’t her fault! She was just really curious about this new world. She hadn’t gotten the chance to explore another world her father created before, but now she could thanks to her bestie!

Her bestie really was the best bestie to ever bestie!

She could sense that she had been transported into another dimension once she stepped through the portal, but she was still curious about where she was, so she continued going deeper.

Her breath was frosted since the temperatures in this area were very low, but she didn’t really care about that. Even the blizzards and ice all around couldn’t hinder her sight or her senses. It was nothing compared to Velzard’s Frost.

Right now she was walking through a forest. She had seen some beasts, but all of them had the instincts to run away right away once they caught sight of her. They were small fry, so she didn’t care enough about them to fight them.

This dimension had a lot more mana in it than Earth did at least. Though that didn’t really matter for her anymore, not since her bestie upgraded her Magicule Breeder Reactor, making her completely self sufficient.

According to Felix, mana was an offshoot of sorts of magicules, still based on spiritrons but less pure. You would need more of it to create equal effects to what some could do in the Cardinal World.

Felix used an easy to understand example, if someone in the Cardinal World needed one unit of magicules to create a fire ball, then someone would need 5 units of mana to do the same here.

Hopefully she’d find someone strong in this dimension. Felix had said that there was no one here that would be able to give her a good fight, but she still wanted to see for herself.

Not to mention she would copy Felix and restrict her power. She’d use the gauntlets he gifted to her to restrict her power. Maybe then she’d be able to have a good fight!

As she bounded forward through the snowy clearing, she began to scan the surrounding area through the blizzard. There weren’t any strong people around her, but she could sense someone around the level of a Saint further inside.

And for all Milim knew, that person could be hiding their power. She couldn’t use Milim Eye over such a vast distance to see through the person right now. Still, her hopes were up!

She had only been in this new world for a few hours, but she was still having a lot of fun! Though she always had fun when she was with Felix. The same went for Rimuru, too!

They were her closest friends and she couldn’t be happier that they existed!

Before long, she sensed a group of beings up ahead. With a grin on her face, she boomed forwards, landing in front of them.

She took in their appearance, their blue, snow-like skin and pointed ears. She tilted her head. "Are you guys elves?" She recognized the pointy ears, but their skin was different from what she’d normally associate with elves. But the dark elves existed, so she imagined these were another race of offshoots.

It was a group of three, with two of them holding bows, and another with a halberd.

One of them opened his mouth with a snarl on his face. She blinked as all she could understand was gibberish.

"Ah, you’re speaking another language. Gimme a sec." She said, holding a hand up at them, which seemed to anger them for some reason.

Did they want to talk or not!?

She closed her eyes and quickly focused on the Information Particles around them. After a moment of understanding them, she opened her eyes again. "Can you understand me now?"

She learned the language by reading the data for it off the Information Particles. She wasn’t as good at reading Infons as some people, but she was good enough to fight Guy in a Time Stop back when he fought her when she went berserk.

"We can." The Elf in the lead slowly nodded as he stepped forward, his halberd still gripped tightly.

"Eh, so what do you want?"

The Elf blinked in confusion. "You are trespassing into the territory of the Baruka Tribe, the new Kingdom of Ice Elves." The Elf gave her a once over. "You seem to be a Dragon under Lord Antares. Due to his relationship with our Lady, you may leave, but do not trespass again." The Elf stated.

"Eh? Who’s this Antares guy?"

He sounded kinda familiar.

"And who’s your Lady? Is she that sorta strong person I sense further down?"

"You overstep, child." The Elf with the Halberd growled out. "Leave. This is the last warning you shall receive. Our Lady has better things to do than deal with a child’s tantrums."

Her lips twitched. She really didn’t like being called a child by these guys.

She raised her fists, though she was still perfectly controlling her energy as Felix told her to. "Take me to your leader or I’ll beat you up."

"We gave you your chance, child. It seems my Lady will have to personally deliver you to Lord Antares." The Elf with the halberd said as he got into position along with the other two archers.

She sighed. This would be a boring fight. All three of them were weak. The Elf with the halberd was around the Special-A Rank, while the others were A Rank.

"You’re all weak, so I’ll beat you all up quickly!" She chirped.

The gauntlets that Felix gifted her materialized on her hands. They would hold her power back dramatically, but even then she had no doubt she’d beat these guys up quickly.

She bounced once on her heels, still grinning.

"Get in formation!" The halberd wielding Elf yelled out.

At least he was taking things seriously, even if he thought she was a child.

The two archers flared with mana, drawing back frost-glimmering arrows as the leader lunged forward, sweeping his halberd in a wide arc, aiming to knock her off her feet in one clean blow.

She decided to humor them.

Milim tilted her head as the halberd whooshed past her by less than an inch. "That was a nice swing!" She said, giving him a thumbs up.

Then she moved.

A gust of wind erupted as she appeared behind the leader in a blink, tapping his back lightly with one finger. The force sent him flying forward, tumbling across the snow like a ragdoll before slamming into a tree.

The archers loosed their arrows immediately, but Milim casually slapped both projectiles out of the air, the shockwaves from her palm strikes causing the bows to snap in the archers’ hands.

She pouted. "Mou, so weak." She even had the gauntlets activated! In the end, they were only Unique Grade. They couldn’t truly hold her power back. She wished she could do what Felix did! Even to her Milim Eye, he seemed super weak which was super surprising. But he said it wasn’t something she could replicate and he wouldn’t deceive her, so that was that.

The halberd-wielding elf groaned as he got to his feet, blood trailing from the corner of his mouth. "What... what are you? A-Another Monarch?"

"Eh? Monarch? Those weak guys Felix was talking about?" She put her hands on her hips. "I’m way cooler! I’m Demon Lord Milim Nava, The Destroyer!" She said proudly.

Her title was super cool, the coolest on the Council if you asked her! Pfft, what Lord of Darkness?

They stared at her like she’d gone mad, which was weird since she was telling the truth!

Just as she was about to launch herself at them she felt a ripple in the surrounding mana. She watched as a large magic circle formed in the sky above them.

"Ooh, someone interesting!" She chirped out.

A silhouette stepped out of the magic circle as it was a teleportation circle.

The person that emerged had long silver hair tied into a braid, pale blue skin, and piercing silver eyes. She was wearing a cloak of frost which Milim thought looked cool. Maybe she’d have to try making a cloak of stardust some time!

The injured Elves immediately knelt. "Lady Sirka!"

Sirka, as she learned her name was, felt pretty strong. Stronger than most Saints, but not quite at the level of even the weakest member of the Demon Lord Council excluding Ramiris.

Still, maybe Sirka could be fun to play with. Not to mention Sirka looked like a child too! Maybe they could make a club of child-like but overpowered beings!

Sirka slowly descended as her Aura began to spread out around the area, making everything far colder, to the point that even the mana in the air was beginning to freeze. That was nothing to Milim Nava though!

"You, who are you?" Sirka asked with a childish tilt of her head.

"Neh, that doesn’t matter! You’re that lady they were talking about right?!" She asked with some excitement.

This was why she wanted to come to this other world! She’d get to meet new people, fight new people, make new friends, experience different things; she was excited!

Sirka blinked in confusion as she settled down onto the ground. "Leave." Sirka told the other Elves who quickly bowed and ran for their lives.

"I am the Monarch of Nightmares, Sirka, and you are trespassing."

That was a cool title, sorta like Luminous’s Queen of Nightmares. Maybe they’d get along?

Milim clapped her hands. "Monarch of Nightmares, huh? That is a cool title! But I still like mine better." She puffed out her chest. "The Destroyer sounds way more awesome, right?"

Sirka didn’t respond immediately. She studied Milim carefully, her silver eyes narrowing ever so slightly.

"You are not a simple Dragon." Sirka states with certainty.

"Nope! I’m a Dragonoid! And also a Demon Lord. And also kinda a god if you squint at it. But mostly just super cute and strong!" Milim declared proudly, hands on her hips and posed proudly.

"You are not one of Antares’s?" Sirka asked.

"I don’t even know who that guy is!"

Sirka smiled, it was small but noticeable. "Then he cannot take offense to me swatting you, Destroyer."

Milim grinned in excitement. "A fight, yay! Hopefully you’ll be more fun than the last three!"

Sirka scoffed. "Even thousands of them would not survive against me." Sirka raised one hand. A moment later a pressure spread throughout the area, causing the snow around them to flatten.

The air itself shimmered as her mana condensed into a dozen spears of ice, though Milim could tell the spears, while basic, were not simple. They seemed to have some Divinity in them.

"You destroyed my scouting unit, and intruded into the territory of a Monarch. You will not survive this." Sirka stated with certainty.

Milim’s grin didn’t fade. Instead, her eyes lit up with excitement.

"I was really nice earlier, you know, sparing those grunts of yours, but if you’re gonna go all out then I guess I can try a little bit."

Sirka got angry at her words. "Do not mock me!" Sirka didn’t waste another second.

The spears launched at once, spiraling in erratic patterns. Milim’s form blurred as she zipped between them with perfect ease, her feet barely touching the snow. She grabbed one out of mid-air and crushed it in her bare hand, giggling.

"Pointy! But not dangerous enough!"

Sirka appeared behind her in a flash, swinging a blade of pure nightmare. At a quick glance Milim saw that it was just a construct made from weaponized dreams and fears.

At least Sirka actually had a reason for her title as Monarch of Nightmares then. Luminous just picked it because it sounded cool. She never said as much, but Milim knew it to be true.

The weapon practically screeched as it even cut through space as it aimed for her exposed back.

But she quickly twisted, catching the blade with a palm which caused an explosion of sparks around them.

"That was pretty cool!" Milim complimented. "But you’ll need more than bad dreams!"

The pressure of their clash sent shockwaves rolling across the snowfields, toppling trees and shattering nearby ice pillars. Sirka leapt back, eyes narrowing.

"You leave me no choice, child." Sirka said.

Milim’s eyes narrowed. "How many times do I have to say I’m not a child!" She yelled before booming forward.

She would have to beat Sirka up to teach her some manners, of course.

Author’s Note:

Sup everyone, in this Chapter, Milim goes on a walk and shenanigans ensue. As you can tell I am drawing on Ragnarok characters and lore a bit, but I’m sorta winging it on that front since I haven’t read Ragnarok nor do I plan to.

Anyways, Milim in the world of solo leveling, what can go wrong I wonder?

Thanks for reading, peace.

Thanks to @Salante and @Flowerman for beta’ing this Chapter.
