Theodore did not know how long he had been in this isolation room, but about two or three hours after he woke up, he could hear faint footsteps from outside his room. Theodore guessed that it was time for the people who arrested him to come.

"How dare they come for me, I thought they would lock me up here and never come again," Theodore said as he rolled his eyes lazily.

Soon, Theodore heard the sound of the metal door connecting him to the outside world start to open, and slowly, someone he recognized walked into his room while carrying food.

"I didn’t expect you to be the one to come, Roderick." Theodore chuckled when he saw that it was Roderick who entered his isolation room.

"Honestly, I didn’t want to see you like this either," Roderick replied with a tired sigh as Victor forced him to meet Theodore.

Everyone knew that Theodore would definitely go berserk if it was Victor or Madeline who had betrayed him. Therefore, Roderick was sacrificed to meet Theodore at this time.

"At least you guys are still kind enough to give me food," Theodore said as he accepted the tray of food given by Roderick.

"You know that I have something to say to you by coming here, right?" Roderick finally decided to sit across from Theodore.

"Of course. There’s no way you’re just here to feed me," Theodore retorted, glancing at Roderick with a strange look.

"Those damn bigwigs won’t let you go until you apologize and give them all the information you have. Most importantly they’re asking you to cooperate with them so they can monopolize your power," Roderick explained later. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"I knew it. No wonder they want my power." Theodore shrugged his shoulders indifferently, not really thinking about what Roderick was telling him.

"And it looks like you didn’t think much of their request. You’ll be locked up here if you don’t cooperate with them, do you mind?" Roderick stared at Theodore in disbelief. How could he still act calmly after all this?

"I have no intention of working for them. If they don’t want to let me go, then I’ll leave," Theodore replied while eating the food brought by Roderick.

Roderick sighed softly, he had guessed that Theodore intended to escape from this isolation room. Roderick would think it strange if Theodore would just surrender in this room and not do anything.

So Roderick didn’t find it strange when he heard Theodore intended to escape, even leave this base.

"It’s just that can you pass on my message to my apartment neighbors? You know them, right?" Theodore looked up to confirm that Roderick knew Roxanne and Geoffrey.

"Ah, that young lady and her younger brother, right?" Roderick also remembered those two people who were very close to Theodore.

"Yes. Can you convey my message to them and not say this to anyone but them?" This time, Theodore looked at Roderick with a deadly sharp gaze.

"I’ll do what I can. If my movements are closely watched, then I can’t do it," Roderick replied, finally telling the truth.

"No problem then. Tell them to meet me at the north gate if they want to come with me to leave this base," Theodore explained then said his message.

Then, Theodore continued, "By the way, what time is it? I don’t know if it’s day or night," Theodore sighed resignedly.

"It’s 2pm," Roderick replied briefly.

"Then tell them to meet me tonight at midnight, I’ll wait for them there." Theodore could finally confirm when he would escape from this base.

"Oh my! Are you sure you can escape from this place in such a short time?" Roderick was surprised to realize that Theodore intended to leave the base tonight.

Theodore shrugged his shoulders lazily, then said, "I just need to blow this place up."

Roderick shook his head as he believed that Theodore would really blow up this place if it was necessary to escape.

"Then I can only hope you succeed with your escape attempt," Roderick said, not knowing what he should tell Theodore.

"Given that this could be our last meeting, I would like to say that you need to pay attention to Doctor Christopher’s movements, I see that there is something he has been hiding all this time." Theodore decided to give this information to Roderick because he was suspicious of Christopher.

When he heard that Roderick was initially quite surprised but he decided to nod his head to stop and carried the tray containing the empty bowl away from the isolation room.

Finally, Theodore was back alone in the room; he intended to formulate a plan together with System regarding his escape mission.

"System, can you give me a skill?" Theodore thought that if he could get the skill he needed right now, he could escape more easily.
