Geoffrey was completely panicked when he saw Roxanne unconscious beside him. He shook Roxanne’s body several times to wake her up, but she did not come to, and it made him even more panicked.

"What exactly happened to my sister?" Since there was no sign of Roxanne waking up, Geoffrey decided to ask Theodore what happened.

"We fell into that evil group’s trap. Somehow, they faked that cry for help and ended up capturing Roxanne. Luckily, I was able to bring her back; although she was unconscious, it seems she was hit by that guy," Theodore explained later.

"Damn it! I knew something was wrong inside that convenience store," Geoffrey said while gritting his teeth in annoyance.

"Let your sister rest. Hopefully, she’ll wake up soon." Theodore could only let Roxanne rest in the back and called Geoffrey to move to the front.

To make Roxanne more comfortable, Theodore gave Geoffrey some pillows and told him to help his sister. After that, Theodore also asked Geoffrey to move to the front.

"The forest is in sight; be careful." Geoffrey pointed at the front of their car, and indeed, the forest he had mentioned earlier was visible.

"It already feels very tense from the outside. Let’s hope nothing bad happens later." Theodore could already see the dark aura of the forest they were about to enter.

"I don’t know, I have a bad feeling about that forest," Geoffrey said, shrugging his shoulders with goosebumps.

Theodore inevitably drove the car into the forest path; at first, it went smoothly, and nothing happened to them.

However, it didn’t last long as Theodore began to notice that there were quite a few cars on the side of the road along the forest road. There were even some that had crashed into the trees that were there.

The eerie feeling that Theodore had previously felt began to intensify when they saw what was happening along this forest road.

"Oh my! Sis, look up ahead!" Geoffrey shouted in terror as he saw the horde of zombies surrounding a car that seemed to have just passed by.

"Damn it!" Theodore cursed at the horrifying sight ahead.

Actually, the road was wide enough to have two lanes; it was just that there were several cars on the side of the road, making the road narrower.

And the car that was surrounded by the zombie horde was in the middle of the road and it would make it difficult for Theodore to get the car past the zombies.

"Geoffrey, hold on tight!" Theodore recklessly took the slightly empty left lane and drove his car quickly.

Geoffrey’s face looked deathly pale, and he immediately did what Theodore said; he really wasn’t sure if they could get through the horde of zombies that looked very different from the zombies they had encountered so far.

From what Geoffrey saw, the zombies they saw in the forest had darker bodies than the zombies they were used to. Not only that, Geoffrey could vaguely know that they had fangs like wild animals.

When Theodore took advantage of a small gap to pass through the zombie horde, unfortunately, the zombies became aware of their existence.

Now that their focus was no longer on the car they had previously destroyed, the zombies slowly began to see the car Theodore was driving and continued to chase after them.

"No way! They’re chasing us!" Geoffrey looked at the rearview mirror on his side, and he could see the zombies growling and running after them tightly.

"I can’t speed up now because there are too many other cars scattered on the road." Theodore hit the steering wheel hard as he realized that their situation was not very good right now.

"Honestly, for some reason, their pace is faster than normal zombies; even the evolved ones are much faster!" Geoffrey panicked even more when he saw that some of the zombies were very close to their car.

Not long after Geoffrey’s words, they felt their car shake as if it had been hit by another car from behind.

"What is this power?! Why are they so strong?" Theodore was surprised when he felt the strength of the zombies; he had not expected them to be that strong.

"Looks like it’s time we used that magic scroll!" The only thing Geoffrey could think of was to use Theodore’s magic scroll; otherwise, they would have died here.

"You’re right." While continuing to focus on driving, Theodore tried to take out the magic scroll from his sacred dimension.

Fortunately Theodore was able to give the magic scroll to Geoffrey. After holding the magic scroll, Geoffrey became nervous; at first, he was confident that he could use the magic scroll easily, but when he was in the middle of a critical situation like this, he became very nervous.

"Don’t overthink, I know you can activate the scroll." Theodore tried to boost Geoffrey’s confidence, who looked quite shaken at the moment.

Geoffrey swallowed harshly. He slowly closed his eyes while taking a breath, then slowly opened his eyes again and opened the magic scroll to cast the spell inside.

Meanwhile, Theodore drove as softly as possible so as not to disturb Geoffrey’s spell-casting. However, it was pretty tricky because Theodore saw that the zombies had caught up with them and started attacking their car.

The shaking that the zombies caused was really bad, even a few times their car swerved, fortunately Theodore could handle it and did not cause their car to crash into other cars or trees on the side of the road.

It was just that Geoffrey’s condition was quite alarming because he couldn’t hold on because he had to cast a spell. He hit his head several times, and he still had to continue casting the spell uninterruptedly.

"Hold on a little longer, Geoffrey! The spell is almost finished," Theodore said, trying to get Geoffrey to restrain himself and continue casting the spell.

Fortunately, a few moments later, Geoffrey managed to cast the spell inside the magic scroll, and their car began to be enveloped by an invisible barrier.

After the magic scroll was activated, they no longer felt the shock of the zombies’ attacks. Finally, they both sighed with relief after the magic scroll was installed.

"Thank goodness the scroll worked well. I thought I was going to die," Geoffrey sighed and leaned his back in relief.

"Who died?" There was a voice from behind, which made Geoffrey cry out in surprise.

"I even forgot that you fainted on the back bench!" Geoffrey wanted to scold Roxanne for startling him, but he decided against it when he saw her holding her head and looking in pain.

"You’re finally awake," Theodore said later after he saw that Roxanne was awake.

"What happened?" Roxanne looked confused and how surprised she was to see a strange zombie next to her window.
