Chapter 219: It’s Okay

Celia, who looked down while apologizing, was surprised when she did not hear any response from the three people; she slowly raised her head to glance at what they were doing at the moment.

It was at that moment that Celia felt Roxanne’s hand reach out towards her to gently rub the top of her head. Not only that, Celia also heard Geoffrey chuckling in the back seat.

"Why are you apologizing like that? We’re not angry with you; if we were, there’s no way Theodore would have thought of helping you," Roxanne replied, shaking her shoulders softly.

"Actually, without your help, we could have escaped. As long as there’s Brother Theo, we don’t have to worry," Geoffrey said as he pulled Theodore into his arms.

"You don’t have to feel guilty like that," Theodore said briefly.

Celia felt very moved when she heard their words. She could only nod her head in understanding. Celia couldn’t even say anything because she was so moved by their words to her.

The atmosphere in the car was no longer tense; they chatted casually about what they would do when they got out of the city. They had to pass through one more town after this before reaching the city of K.

"Have you heard of the situation in city H?" Theodore also asked Celia, who had begun to look stable.

"I don’t really know. It’s just that I heard that there were many people from this town who escaped to town H," Celia replied, telling what she knew about what happened in town H, which they would pass through later.

"If that’s the case, it’s possible that the situation in City H is not too different from this place," Geoffrey said while shuddering in horror as he dug back into his memories of what happened.

"Don’t be like that. Pray that the situation there isn’t too bad. That way, we can get to K City faster." Roxanne also tried to think positively.

It took half a day for them to reach the border as they wanted, but they could see that the border was heavily guarded by Boss and his men.

Boss knew that Theodore and the others would pass through the border to get out of this city. Theodore, who saw that, was no longer surprised because he was sure Boss would want to get back at them after what they did before.

The others also felt tense when they saw Boss and his men preparing to arrest them. Theodore had to think about how they could get past the barricade that Boss had set up for them.

"Should we use arrows against them?" Geoffrey was immediately excited to give his advice to Theodore.

"Yes, it looks like we just need to do it as usual. You don’t mind attacking, right?" Theodore lightly patted Geoffrey’s shoulder while grinning.

"Of course, I’ll be happy to beat them up." Geoffrey nodded his head confidently.

"You two will help Geoffrey attack them with arrows. And I’ll take the wheel," Theodore explained what they would do to get past the barricade made by Boss.

Before starting their action, Theodore first used the protection magic scroll they had to protect their car. After making sure that their vehicle was protected, Theodore immediately drove the vehicle towards Boss’ barricade.

Geoffrey himself, who had stuck half of his body on the roof, immediately aimed at Boss and his men with his fire arrows. Not only that, Geoffrey also used a spread arrow to destroy the barricade they made.

Boss and his men were surprised when they were suddenly attacked from the darkness. Soon, they saw a familiar car heading towards them at high speed.

"Don’t let them out of this city!" Boss shouted angrily; he wasn’t going to let them leave so easily, especially after what they did to him.

"Yes, Boss!"

Because Boss had ordered them to do so, some of Boss’s men who had powers began to use their powers to prevent Theodore and the others from leaving their town.

Meanwhile, Theodore had to turn his steering wheel to avoid a wall made of earth that suddenly appeared in front of their car. Because of that, Geoffrey, who was on top, almost floated; fortunately, Roxanne and Celia held his body from below.

"Oh my, what are you doing?" Geoffrey, who was pulled back into the car, immediately glared at Theodore.

"There’s a dirt wall ahead," Theodore replied quietly, surprised when he suddenly saw the dirt wall appear.

If Theodore hadn’t quickly turned the wheel to avoid the wall, they would have hit the dirt wall and severely damaged their car, or worse, they would have died.

"How could there suddenly be such an earthen wall? Isn’t it like a wall that Cassian could make?" As Roxanne looked at the barrier wall in front of them, she immediately recalled what Cassian could do.

"You’re right. There’s most likely someone with power among Boss’s men," Theodore replied, nodding his head.

That’s when they realized that Boss’s men had stormed their car and attacked it blindly. Everyone in the vehicle immediately tensed up when they saw that.

Now, they had to think of another way to get out of this city, or else they would have to think of how to destroy the dirt wall that was in front of them right now.

"What should we do now?" Celia also asked nervously; she realized that their current situation was not very good.

"We have to think of a way to destroy the earthen wall. We’ll run out of time if we find another way out," Theodore replied while gritting his teeth in annoyance.

This damn Boss was really getting on Theodore’s nerves. Not only was he beaten up for fighting him earlier, but he also didn’t expect them to do everything they could to prevent them from escaping the city.

"The problem is how to destroy the earthen wall?" Roxanne was looking quite anxious at the moment as she could not think of a way to destroy the earthen wall.

"I thought of a way, but I don’t know if it will work." Theodore thought about trying several ways to destroy the earthen wall.

Roxanne looked at Theodore doubtfully. She was not sure if the method Theodore had thought of would work. Because Theodore wanted to try his way, he switched places with Roxanne again.

After that, Theodore also told Geoffrey and Celia to stand guard while he stuck half of his body on the open roof of the car. Then, Theodore took out the sword he bought when the apocalypse had not yet come.

Then Theodore began to gather all his strength on the sword, and he activated his Vanishing Strike skill; not stopping there, he threw the sword in his hand towards the dirt wall.

Unexpectedly, the ground wall began to crack after the sword that Theodore threw hit the ground wall.
