Infinite Cashback: My God-Tier Cashback System
Chapter 62: Starline Airways!
"What’s wrong?" Luca asked, noticing the subtle change in Naomi’s expression as her eyes swept across the displays inside.
Naomi gently shook her head and forced a faint smile. Taking a step back from the entrance, she said softly, "What’re you talking about? I’m fine. Let’s look somewhere else instead."
Luca guessed she had spotted someone she had no intention to meet. Since she clearly wasn’t ready to explain, he respected her decision and didn’t press the issue.
Without another word, the three of them left the Chanel boutique and walked next door into the Gucci store.
It was Elena’s first time stepping inside a luxury fashion boutique of this caliber. The elegant interior gleamed beneath crystal lights, with polished marble floors reflecting rows of carefully displayed designer clothing and handbags.
Curious, she reached out and lightly touched the sleeve of a beautifully tailored blouse. The moment she looked at the price tag, her hand almost jerked back.
Four thousand dollars.
Her eyes widened.
She quickly glanced around the boutique, only to discover that even the least expensive accessories carried price tags worth several thousand dollars.
"Daughter..." she whispered nervously, lowering her voice. "Everything here is unbelievably expensive."
Her gaze stopped on a simple silk camisole hanging neatly on display. It barely seemed to use enough fabric to make a handkerchief, yet the price tag proudly displayed five thousand dollars.
For a brief second, Elena seriously wondered if the executives running these luxury brands would’ve been kinder simply robbing customers outright. At least then people wouldn’t leave carrying a tiny piece of silk afterward.
Naomi couldn’t help smiling.
"Mom, that’s normal around the District. Every store here is like this."
She glanced at Luca before continuing.
"For example, the outfit Luca’s wearing right now probably costs over thirty thousand dollars."
Thirty thousand...
Elena stared at Luca in disbelief.
He looked like any other handsome young man strolling through town, yet the clothes he wore so casually were worth what an ordinary family might spend years earning.
"Mom," Naomi said gently as she picked up a beautifully tailored lavender knit blouse, "why don’t you try this on? I think it’ll look wonderful on you."
Elena immediately waved both hands.
"No, absolutely not. Women my age shouldn’t be wearing clothes meant for young girls."
Naomi knew that wasn’t the real reason.
Her mother had always appreciated beautiful clothes. The problem was the price.
Although Naomi now earned an excellent income through livestreaming, Elena still couldn’t bring herself to spend thousands of dollars on a single piece of clothing. To someone who had spent most of her life living carefully, it simply felt impossible.
Before Naomi could continue persuading her, Luca stepped in with a warm smile.
"Naomi, why don’t you take Auntie to the fitting room?"
To someone with Luca’s wealth, spending tens of thousands on clothing barely registered. Besides, Naomi herself could easily afford it now.
With Luca encouraging her and the enthusiastic sales associates joining in, Elena finally sighed in surrender.
"...Fine. I’ll just try it on."
Once she agreed, Luca began selecting outfits for himself.
He carefully chose elegant dresses, tailored jackets, knitwear, and seasonal pieces that suited both Naomi and Elena, occasionally holding one up before nodding in satisfaction.
Several minutes later, the mother and daughter stepped out of the fitting rooms together.
The transformation was remarkable.
The expertly tailored clothing enhanced their figures effortlessly. Naomi looked graceful and radiant, while Elena seemed to shed years from her appearance. She carried herself with an elegance she hadn’t realized she possessed.
"Mom..." Naomi smiled sincerely. "You look beautiful."
Elena slowly turned toward the full-length mirror.
For several long seconds, she simply stared.
The refined woman looking back at her hardly resembled the hardworking mother she’d known all her life.
It almost felt like she had become someone else.
Luca quietly walked over to Naomi’s side and leaned down just enough for only her to hear.
"Wow, Naomi..."
His warm voice brushed against her ear.
"You look absolutely stunning today."
The gentle breath against her ear sent an involuntary shiver racing through Naomi’s body.
Her cheeks instantly turned crimson.
She lowered her head, trying to hide her smile, but the happiness blooming inside her heart was impossible to suppress. Every compliment from Luca somehow made her fall for him just a little more.
’This bad man... does he have to flirt with me every chance he gets?’
The affectionate exchange didn’t escape the sharp-eyed sales associate nearby.
Watching the couple together, she couldn’t hide the envy in her eyes.
How fortunate did a woman have to be to find a man who was impossibly handsome, unimaginably wealthy, and so openly devoted to making her happy?
Luca looked around the boutique one final time before speaking calmly.
"Package everything they tried on."
The sales associate blinked.
"...Excuse me, sir?"
"Everything," Luca repeated.
She stared at him, convinced she’d misheard.
"You mean... every single outfit from the fitting rooms?"
Even after months of working at Gucci, she’d never encountered a customer who shopped this casually. The total would almost certainly reach well into six figures.
Beside him, Elena froze completely.
Her fingers instinctively tightened around the strap of her handbag.
Even Naomi, who had long grown accustomed to Luca’s spending habits, couldn’t help being slightly stunned.
This was simply who Luca Hale was.
Most people admired his face first.
Those closest to him knew better.
The most captivating thing about Luca wasn’t his appearance.
It was the effortless confidence with which he spent money.
Luca nodded casually.
"Yes. It’s not that much."
Not that much.
Only someone with Luca’s fortune could dismiss a six-figure shopping bill as though it were pocket change.
Naomi earned more than enough to live comfortably, but even she couldn’t match this level of extravagance.
The sales associate nearly beamed with excitement.
"Right away, sir! We’ll have everything prepared immediately!"
She was already calculating the commission in her head.
A sale this large would likely double, perhaps even triple, her monthly earnings.
Several minutes later, the boutique manager personally approached with the invoice held carefully in both hands.
"Mr. Hale," he said respectfully, "the total comes to one hundred and eighteen thousand dollars. How would you like to make payment?"
"Luca..." Naomi stepped forward, reaching for her own card. "Let me pay for this one."
After all, almost everything had been purchased for her and her mother. Luca himself had selected only a single designer leather belt.
He smiled and gently stopped her.
"Don’t worry about it."
He looked toward Elena.
"Consider it my first proper gift to Your Mom."
Naturally, Luca intended to pay himself.
Aside from wanting to treat Naomi and her mother, he also knew every purchase activated the mysterious system that rewarded him many times over. And with Naomi beside him, the odds of triggering one of its absurdly generous critical rewards were incredibly high.
He calmly tapped his black card against the payment terminal.
Beep.
The transaction completed instantly.
At the same moment, familiar system notifications appeared before his eyes.

’Not bad.’
Luca smiled inwardly.
A leisurely shopping trip had already earned him well over 1.3 million dollars in tax-free profit.
Making money through ordinary business suddenly felt painfully slow by comparison.
Still, he knew the biggest reward hadn’t appeared yet.
He turned and met Naomi’s beautiful eyes.
She was, without question, his greatest lucky charm.
Almost on cue, the system chimed again.
